Emplacement ideal mais quelques inconvénients

Emplacement idéal, à proximité des incontournables et du métro. Petit déjeuner avec pas mal de fruits frais.

Aucune intimité pour la SDB et WC. Mauvaise insonorisation . La place était en travaux donc pas mal de bruits.

Terrible, but at least it only lasted on night.

The staff was extremely helpful in finding me an alternative hotel.

First, there was heavy-duty construction going on in the plaza in front of the hotel, apparently for quite a time, that began before 8am and continued until after 5pm. This made it impossible to stay at the hotel and forced me to change to another of their hotels in the same neighborhood although it was of a lower category (3 stars), with a smaller room, for the same price as the 4 star hotel I booked and paid for. There was no indication of this anywhere in their listing. The room was on the top floor, just below the roof. It had a steeply inclined ceiling which meant that I had to stoop in order to not bang my head on the ceiling beams. The bathroom was up three steps, which made using it (especially during the night) VERY inconvenient. The wall of the bathroom is of glass. This means that if you use it during the night and turn the light on, the other person wakes up.

המיטה ממש גרועה חורדת מכל תזוזה , הכרטיס לחדר בכל פעם שהגענו לא עבד ונאלצנו לרדת שוב לקבלה לשחזר כרטיס 4 לילות והדבר לא תוקן

Recommended for a stay in Madrid only when the roadworks finish.

The location is simply fantastic; walking distance to most Madrid attractions. Also the staff were extremely helpful in providing tips to Madrid.

The fact that major roadworks are being carried out, just next to the hotel was not disclosed prior to our stay. Also the hotel's common areas (reception, breakfast room) are quite small.

6 dias en el centro de madrid en un hotel muy bien ubicado

Ubicacion y personal super dispuesto a ayudar. Desayuno es muy muy completo, casi de hotel 5 estrellas.

300 euros la noche, es mucho dinero !!!,. por suerte compartimos habitacion con mi compañero de trabajo.

Pleasant

The location and the cleanliness

There was no internet for the first couple of days, and after that, the internet wasn't stable, so I had to buy a data card. The safe wasn't working, and no one was able to fix it for a few hours, so I had to leave my room with all my valuable belongings in a foreign place. Noisy. No coffee and tea facilities, the receptionist offered us a kettle BUT without cups??? Matras felt old and uncomfortable. And more... It came to that my girlfriend decided to leave a day earlier.

Not impressed.

Amazing location, just 5 min from Gran Via. Bunch of nearby restaurants and shops. The restaurant next to the hotel was great. The hotel breakfast was ok, although the food area was quite small. This hotel is ok for 2-3 day stays, gives you value for money. The staff was great!

Super noisy during the day and night. Also, there is a construction site at the Plaza del Carmen. The room was quite small and tight (compared to other rooms in the hotel) with a sink in the entry hallway. Not a lot of space for suitcases, clothes and stuff. Not comfortable. Bit outdated.

Very pleasant stay

Comfortable bed, quiet room, good shower, friendly staff on reception.

The room was a bit small, the restaurant didn't have everything on the menu. It would have been nice to have a heads up that the plaza was closed for renovations so the surrounding area wasn't great.

Best located hotel in Madrid.

Fantastic location in the centre of Madrid. Lots of cafes and restaurants. Close to metro station. Staff very helpful in organising an early morning taxi to the airport. Great restaurant bar next door.

Good hotel marred by construction site outside.

Staff v helpful when construction site noise was intrusive. We were offered a room facing the back of the hotel. New room was cramped but adequate, clean, comfy bed but view onto walls not sky. Quieter, for which we were grateful. Excellent breakfast.

Construction site in plaza wasn't mentioned when booking but clearly had been going on for some time. Very noisy. Whole plaza boarded off. Very disappointing in terms of view, atmosphere and noise in what would otherwise be a good situation and good hotel.

The breakfast was really good, the room was comfortable as we stayed when it was cold outside. The location was within walking distance to alot of places and the metro was close by.

Couldn't be happier with our choice of hotel. Perfect location, wonderfully friendly and helpful staff throughout, incredibly comfortable (and quiet) rooms and beautiful breakfast selection (in a room full of character). The staff really are a joy and the location is perfect to explore on foot. The hotel had a "boutique" feel and had everything we required. We were by no means the only guests there, although sometimes it felt like the place was there only for us. Even the wi-fi is excellent! We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Nothing, it was a perfect stay and ticked every box. The square outside is being remodeled, but we couldn't hear any of the work going on thanks to the (noise reducing?) windows/doors over the balconies. When it's completed it really will be stunning and we can't wait to see it.
