The house was exactly as pictured. It was clean and there wasn’t anything you could need that they didn’t have. The waterfront beach made it so easy to be outside all day, especially since we had young children that needed naps. My two year old grandson thought the train came by just for him. He would get so excited. The kayaks and canoes were a bonus to have. The house is set in a cove which made it very private. We couldn’t have asked for a better house or location. We would definitely go back.

We knew from the pictures on VRBO that this house would have everything we needed to enjoy a great vacation with our adult children and our grandkids, and we weren't disappointed. The house was very clean and roomy with plenty of bedrooms. The house was stocked with everything we needed.
The view from both decks is spectacular. We enjoyed the hot tub, and for little ones it was very convenient to have the beachy area on the property where we could just walk right into the water with them instead of having to pack the car with lunch and beach toys and drive to an area beach. We all enjoyed kayaking and paddleboarding, and met lots of friendly neighbors while paddling by their homes.
Allison's replies to our questions during our vacation were very timely, which was much appreciated. We can't wait to be able to return to this gem of a vacation home!

We had a fabulous time staying at this rental to celebrate my in-law's 50th anniversary. Allison is very communicative which we really appreciated. The home and property were very clean, well maintained, and well stocked. You could tell a lot of thought went into all the amenities there at the home! The home was spacious and comfy and well set up in an open concept. You could relax and all spend time together, but also there was enough space for everyone too to spread out. The kitchen also was well stocked and all appliances worked great. The entertainment areas were cozy and well laid out. The views from the home of the cove and the bay were stunning too- we even saw a bald eagle on the tree next to the house! The pictures don't do it justice. It was quiet and peaceful, and we enjoyed time around the fire, grilling and relaxing in the hot tub right there on the deck overlooking the cove/bay. Wonderful large deck space and seating. There were plenty of inner tubes, kayaks, paddleboards, and a canoe that we all used to fish in the cove and in the bay. Every day we caught something which was a blast! There were plenty of games and movies too, the internet was great. We had plans to do some local activities in the area, but we ended up just staying at home all week, it was so lovely. It had everything we needed. We just wished the time didn't go by so fast! Thank you again Allison.

The home was fantastic! Many rooms for my family of 9 to spread out. The outdoors was great. Paddle boat and kyacks to use in the water was an added bonus. Only wish was a little more sand to swim further out. We really enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor fire pits. We have made reservations for 2022!

We loved our stay here! We relaxed on the water in the morning, using the kayaks, SUPs, etc. Took in sights during the day and returned for more relaxing at the firepit & in the hot tub.
Pictures don't even give the full sense of the pretty setting, water access & great room.
An ideal vacation home.

My family and I get away to Lake Winni every summer for a week of family fun. Allison’s home is by far our favorite so far.. a well equipped home located at the end of Pickerel Cove with access to everything the lake has to offer. The home is large, comfortable and has everything you need to relax. Allison was very communicative throughout the whole process and was so gracious. Thank you Allison!

We spent just over a week at this wonderful spot near Paugus Bay. Did some hiking on the nearby rail trail, cleared a mini skating rink on the water, and took in a few snowfalls from the hot tub. Had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend a visit in the winter!

Beautiful foliage views! Loved the property location on the water. Paddle boat and canoes were great too! Fishing off the dock was fun and loved the fire pit and hot tub every night! Even visited a farm and got pumpkins, apple cider doughnuts, and made Jack o lanterns! Great weekend!!

We had a wonderful time at this house. Allison is great at timely communication for any issues/questions. The house is great; we were a party of 11 - 4 adults and 7 kids ranging in ages from 3 to 11. Everyone had something to do. The house is well equipped and comfortable in all regards. There are tons of toys for the kids and grown ups, including a hot tub, foosball table, kayaks, canoe, stand up paddle boards, tubes, etc. Pickerel cove is a nice place to just chill, fish, canoe/kayak, and for kids the small beach was more than adequate to swim. We brought our own boat (19 foot Starcraft) and had it tied up at the dock, enabling us to explore the lake by water. However, not all boats will fit through the pipe that leads in/out of the cove, so keep that in mind. You have to duck while going through, even with low water levels. Paugus bay is nice area to take the kids tubing, and is sort of out of the way of the hustle/bustle you may find elsewhere. The evenings are beautifully serene and peaceful, hanging out by the Firepit (gas one on the deck or regular one down below closer to the water) or in the hot tub. And the famous Weir beach/town of Laconia is very short drive (5 min) away. Big stores (Walmart, hannaford) are about 15 min way. The major points of interest on the lake (Meredith, Wolfboro, Alton Bay, Center Harbor) are 30-60 min by boat, similar by car. There’s excellent hiking within 1-2 hour drive. This is a terrific house, in a great location. You won’t be disappointed!

The home has a nice master with en suite bathroom on the upper level, two bedrooms on the main level with a shared bathroom, and two bedrooms downstairs with an entertainment area and a half bath. The home is well-stocked with dishes, cooking items, and outdoor sports accessories. The outdoor decks are great, with a large grill, a propane-powered fire pit, and a hot tub. Everything is very clean and well organized. The home is on Pickerel Cove, which has a low and narrow access channel to Paugus Bay. The cove itself is very calm and a pleasure to canoe around. There is good fishing too. It is not directly on the main lake, but you can see Paugus Bay in your view off the deck, as this is the last house before the separation between Pickerel Cove and Paugus Bay. Great stay overall!
