Disappointing.

Location ideal for visiting all that old Zagreb has to offer. Restaurants and public transport within easy reach. Room was comfortable.

The towels weren't put out, and in fact I thought they werent there until I searched the room. The remote didnt have batteries and took two nights to get them. Breakfast was only served from 8am which meant that 2 out of 3 mornings I had to leave before it was served. As it turns out instead of two people in the room, I was the only one, and had paid extra for breakfast each morning, but no reduction for being one. The windows were above head height and with frosted glass, made for a shut in feeling,

Ottima posizione, ma c'è tanto da migliorare...

Ottima posizione in zona strategica nel cuore della via dei ristoranti, a pochi passi da diverse attrazioni e vicino alla fermata del tram!

Reception inesistente e scritta dell'hotel non visibile! Volevamo prenotare un taxi per il ritorno, ma ci siamo arrangiati noi... Per i reclami bisogna rivolgersi allo staff del bar... Noi avevamo una camera puzzolente (puzza di fogne) e ce la siamo tenuta così per tutto il soggiorno dormendo con la finestra aperta... Staff del bar gentili e disponibili! Come descritto, si è in una via pedonale e quindi le macchine non possono circolare all'interno di questa via. Essendo un bed&breakfast considerato al pari di un 4 stelle, manca il frigo bar in camera, pulizia della camera insufficiente, c'era un cotton fioc per terra che nostra figlia ha trovato e messo in bocca e per tutto il soggiorno la camera non è stata né rifatta, né pulita e il cestino non è mai stato svuotato, avendo una bimba piccola era stracolmo di pannolini!!! Colazione insufficiente, bella la sala, ma nessuna possibilità di poter avere un cappuccino, manca la brocca d'acqua, signora addetta alle colazioni si occupa soltanto di riempire i piatti e alterna la sala colazioni con la pulizia delle scale, non parlando bene l'inglese... Da notare la sala colazioni e la stanza fredda (non riscaldata).

Very poor

My husband forgot his coat in the room and we asked the hotel manager to send it to our home address in Germany. The hotel manager agreed, but she never did what she promised, despite 3-4 reminders over 3 weeks. Later she just ignored our calls and messages. Not nice. It was an expensive coat.

The perfect place to stay in Zagreb.

The hotel is on a pedestrian street full of bars and restaurants. The atmosphere of this street is amazing - it's noisy and full of people - very nice on a summer evening. However, the hotel rooms are absolutely quiet. The hotel is clean, pleasant, the rooms are spacious, clean, air-conditioned. A thousand thanks for having the opportunity to stay at this amazing place.

It's not really that important, but since there is a hot drink option in the room in the morning, we as coffee lovers would appreciate having a stocked coffee. There was only tea available there.

Location and quality of this hotel is excellent, staff very friendly and helpful, fair price and good breakfast. the room is very new and clean.

difficult to park the car, parking in lot 800m from the hotel, I had to carry heavy luggages to the hotel by walking this distance.

Modest breakfast, rooms w balcony at rear of building very quite.

During a rain storm a drain pipe over the bed leaked unexpectedly during the night over one side of the bed.

Wondrous little gem

Check in was very well informed. Room was superb. I will deffinately be going back. Such a shame I had a 30k hike around the lakes prior to arriving so I didn't get to enjoy Zagreb to the fullest. The B&B is right on the doorstep of bars and restaurants. Fantastic location.

I got a parking ticket, but that wasn't the B&Bs fault. I didn't get up early enough, you could blame the B&B I suppose for being so damn comfy.

A weekend in Zagreb

Location. The location is right in the centre of Zagreb, on a pedestrian street with lots of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Rooms. The rooms are big and airy, with high ceilings and are very well decorated. I would recommend choosing rooms with a garden view, with a balcony or a terrace. These are at the back of the property and are slightly cooler and quieter. The rooms are aircon'd. The property is on the street with lots of bars and restaurants, you can hear the music, but it is not loud as there is double glazing. We didn't have problems sleeping. Free wifi, works ok.

The name of the place is B&B but breakfast is not included. I didn't check while booking as assumed it's a given. However, it might be better to have breakfast elsewhere and try local specialities from a bakery or cafes nearby. Try Zagreb breakfast - sounds like a strange combination of things but it works and it's really nice.

Facilities r really nice so is staff, it’s very clean and location is interesting if u wish to explore the center.

During the night can be quiet busy and loud outside.

Superb

We have liked almost everything: staff is very helpful, breakfast is tasty, the room was big and lovely (and we had a terrace in the backyard)! A lot of restaurants nearby and shopping street is also very close to the location. And it's a very good starting point for walking day trips around the old city.

If you are travelling by car, note that the Residence is located on the walking street and you cannot park there, ask the host for info about nearby parking. Sometimes during the night we've heard low frequency noise, like washing machines (or airconditionner, or industrial fridge) have been working in the same or adjacent building. If it could be fixed in future, the stay would be ideal :)

very hospitable

PERFECT! The communication was great and FRANCA helped me a lot. Since I had to leave very early, a breakfast package was prepared in my room. It was between the windows to keep it cool. Very good! The room was well heated on that cold day. High quality and stylish furnishings, very good bed and bedding, very good windows (quiet!). I recommend 100%! Thank you so much!
