Very comfortable, pleasant stay where the staff were professional, helpful and polite, no complaints

Breakfast was well presented, service was outstanding, food quality was superb, professional table service, all excellent!! Room was very comfortable, everything I needed was provided and very clean. Location was great, close to the town centre, car parking at the hotel. Very professional and helpful staff.

Narrow spiral stairs leading to my room on the second floor. However the hotel staff helped with my case, taking it to my room.

Pretty, comfortable hotel in a great location, with excellent breakfast

Beautiful building, a very short walk to the pretty town centre and cathedral. Lovely room, nicely furnished. Parking next to the hotel. A great breakfast with friendly service!

Bathroom could have used with a bit of an update, but was functional and clean.

Cosy, well equipped room. Great coffee maker-I want one! Decent shower. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Clean.

Stairs to upper rooms very steep and there's a bend.

Gave us exactly what we wanted.

Comfortable room. Central location was ideal. Breakfast was excellent. Welcoming atmosphere. Convenient parking.

Only one set of towels in room. Nothing else to dislike, so that's all you're getting.

Clean, quiet property in a beautiful location with very helpful staff.

Location great for town. Lovely hotel with clean comfortable room. Staff friendly and courteous.

Carpark a bit tight but understand it’s an old building. Not sure where I’d park if no space left.

Grateful to be given an upgrade to de luxe but the downstairs room was a bit exposed to the public ' that was the only issue.l

Exceptional

10 is not high enough for this charming hotel. Everything was beyond excellent. Nigel and his wife deserve all the highest praise. Lovely full English breakfast prepared by them for all the guests. Rooms were very comfortable, even during England's hottest times. They even offered to take us to the train station when it was too early for taxis.

No spare toilet roll in room. Radiator needed bleeding as a little chilly. Needs a lite more care and attention to be a great hotel.

we only had time to stay for 1 night but would of quite happily stayed all week, The hotel is immaculately decorated and furnished, Location is spot on, staff are really lovely, 1st class breakfast before our departure, will definitely be back, Regards Kev + Kim.
