Breakfast was perfect, well cooked and presented. All the staff we met at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Walkable distance to city centre
Parking nearby was limited so we had to drop off bags and walk from the pay and display car park.

Great people and the beer is also good.

The room was lovely and had everything. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fine but would have liked more choice for the Continental option.
The website said that if we stayed for three nights, we would be given a parking permit which influenced our choice. When we asked for this, when we arrived, we were told they couldn’t provide it as the council have not sent the permits so we are left with no parking facilities.

Staff were really friendly ,particularly at Breakfast and the Housekeeper Breakfast was really good apart from the avocado having too much chilli in it .
No check in , we were queing at the bar with a suitcase . Being charged £4 for half a pint of lager!

Our stay was perfect. We booked at the last minute but it was as if we had booked well before. There was nothing to moan about, the room was lovely, breakfast was as good as we've had anywhere and although parking could be a problem it wasn't on this occasion.
Nothing.....

Most tourists seem to prefer hotels with insular compartmented lifestyles. Not me. I like people and places where locals congregate. This is it. The patio is open after the restaurant closes and you can get a bottle of wine and cozy up out there with locals chatting into the night. Feels like the England of lore.
Uh, I live in America where we shout and take offense at everything. They don’t. If you’ve always wanted to visit Old England this is it. What did I not like? Having to leave.

A really lovely pub brewing a range of it’s own beers. The food is really good and the welcome second to none. It’s the second time we have stayed here and would recommend it for value and quality.
There’s nothing much not to like really - the bathroom was as big as the room and it was fab.

Quirky micro brewery location . Very helpful and groovy staff. Easy free parking.
Breakfast took 25 mins to come out which put pressure on the start of our business day. The breakfast itself had been pre-prepped everything was dry or over-cooked. A shame because all the ingredients were top notch.
