Located in Durham, this charming house for £155 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Quiet 4 bedroom (1,600 sq ft) home on a wooded 1/2 acre lot on the Eno River. Yard is beautifully landscaped and bumps up to wooded parkland with deer roaming freely. Pond and waterfall will lull you into peaceful relaxation. Large deck area for relaxing, grilling out and gathering. Back deck includes a screened in porch that also opens off the master bed room. You can relax in the hammock, on the deck, or roam freely through the woods and hike the trails along the Eno. Or on a hot summer days take a short walk to a great swimming hole. House includes a master bed and bath with king bed. There are two additional rooms with queen beds and a furnished room above the garage with bunk beds and a reading nook for the kids. The large TV in the living room in addition to two bedroom TV's come with 70+ cable stations as well as Roku on which you can sign into your own Netflix, Hulu or amazon accounts. High speed WiFi is also available. So whether you are here to visit a student, attend a ball game, or for medical reasons this location is convenient for you. House is located 7 miles from Duke campus and hospital and 17 miles from Chapel Hill. Well behaved and friendly dogs are welcome. We do ask for a pet deposit and that you keep them off furniture.

We loved the little neighborhood. It was great for a walk around the streets or out the back to the woods and the river. Conveniently located close to stores and a couple good restaurants. While the traffic was a bit much at times, it was not hard to get to downtown Durham, Raleigh, or Chapel Hill. We also enjoyed the daily visits from the herd of deer and Scooter, the neighborhood cat. Super friendly and obviously well cared for by all.

This property was very well stocked for our family’s Thanksgiving meal. We loved the fact that it backed on the Eno River Park and all enjoyed a few hikes on the trails.

This house is a nice 3- bedroom, 2 bath with a gorgeous backyard located in a wooded area. Home comes complete with everything you could possibly need during your stay, including a fully stocked kitchen.

We had such a lovely time. The house and backyard were beautiful. We loved the trek down to the river, and the natural wildlife on the property. The power went out and Lu went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, bringing us extra batteries for the flashlights and a drip coffee topper. Would definitely recommend to a friend, and stay here again if we were to visit the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed the deck !! The upsairs room had a mildew smell to it so we didnt use it. Plenty of room for our group of 5 without it. Great location and close to many fun things to do.

This is our second time staying. We booked an extended stay in September to catch the first three Duke Football home games. The home is comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped with an incredibly relaxing backyard featuring large patio areas, a beautiful pond, and fire pit. The home backs up to the Eno River State Park where we spent many hours with our dog Bentley enjoying the Eno River - just 1/2 mile walk away. We are returning in November for another extended stay for Duke Football. Don’t pass this up!

The house was great for us we were in Durham for a wedding. The location is very relaxing we hiked down to the river. The house had lots of room. That back yard is amazing with all the wildlife. If I ever need to stay in Durham I would stat here again for sure.

What a peaceful backyard to sip my coffee on the back porch before rushing to ballparks for travel baseball games. My son LOVED the upstairs space! The house was well equipped with everything you need for a stay away from home. The neighborhood was quiet and nice and a great location. We will book again if back in this area! Lu is wonderful and we so so enjoyed our stay at this property! Felt like home!

My 3 sisters and I were looking for a place to spend some time prior to a family event in Raleigh. This was the perfect place both for its being in a quiet area, the deck, screens porch, back yard, quiet area and still easily accessible to everything we wanted to do. The host was incredibly accommodating as well.

This was an excellent property. We truly enjoyed our stay, as it was the perfect size, comfortable, well, equipped, and has easy access to Duke University. My family and parents were all able to stay and enjoy the weekend while my daughter graduated from Duke University. The property was conducive to time for relaxing and enjoying each other’s company. Beautiful backyard, plenty of room for six adults to be comfortable. We were even able to host a barbecue one night with other family that came into town. I would certainly recommend this property to others, including Duke families for Duke university, events, such as move-in and graduation. We were able to book well in advance and communication with the property owner was superb. The house was very clean and had plenty of household supplies such as cleaning items, kitchen, items, towels, and linens.

We stayed here instead of a hotel for a college graduation and that turned out to be the best decision!! What a terrific time we had! The house was so cozy and perfect for us. It had everything we could need. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The backyard is truly wonderful. The pergola with lights, the running brook, the fire pit, and the woods leading to the Eno River were just what we needed to relax between events!! I would stay here again without question!

We stayed here Thanksgiving 2021 & fall colors were magical. This time green colors were awesome. Even though it rained heavy for 2 days it was cozy to be with my son who lives in NC & my daughter who flew up from college in Tampa. Just wish the fireplace could be used!

We found the house perfect for our needs as a place for family members (extended family meeting for a Family wedding) to sleep, gather, and re-acquaint in a quiet neighborhood. Great wildlife viewing, walking in adjoining state park lands with river/ravine/trails; easy access to nearby groceries and various take out options. Host was gracious, accessible, but not obtrusive in any way. Lots of outdoor and indoor spaces for conversation and eating with well-stocked kitchen and dining area. No complaints at all! We say many deer pass through back yard, several owls in action in forest, many ducks and great blue heron…

We had a really great stay. Property is very much accurately described and the backyard is peaceful and perfect if you wanted to have a lovely meal outside. Backyard is even better than what is listed for sure! Very good layout of house. Owner very easy to communicate with! A cute little cat that sits on the porch. Great value. Would highly recommend.

This house was perfect for our gathering. Plenty of room, towels, bedding and kitchen equipment. Clean and well cared for. I just wish I could have set outside. But owner has no control over weather. The backyard looked very inviting. Thanks Lu, enjoyed our stay!

The property is clean and welcoming in a beautiful location. The kitchen is unusually well-equipped. Shopping for food is very convenient, and the location allowed us to celebrate our holiday with family who live all over the State of North Carolina. The owners were extremely helpful and flexible. This home was perfect for three generations of family and a mini golden doodle. Well equipped and cozy with lovely views and lots of wildlife in the backyard. Our stay was excellent. The host was helpful was proactive in communicating. We arrived the night that hurricane Ian blew through, and he shared tips about potential electrical outages (fortunately there were none.) The house had more space than we expected, with the bunk beds in the bonus room. The highlight of it all was the beautiful yard. Even with the ugly weather we enjoyed the view and our children loved exploring the trails. We hope to book this space again on future trips to Durham,
