Vintage style of building and furniture
The room was serviced and restocked every day
Did not realise we would have to carry bags up 3 flights. This should have been explained
The sheets were too short for the bed
The bathroom door was very grubby

The receptionist was quite friendly, so points for attitude. And that's about it!
Do you enjoy insects crawling all over your body as you sleep? Do you enjoy mingling your hair with strangers because cleaning staff is too lazy to look under the pillow? A cracking and dirty room with musty smelling air-conditioner in the middle of Singapore? Well then this would be the place for you. Not only do you get to enjoy these extras, they won't even refund you once you point out that there's bugs and hair on the beds. There are better ways to waste your money. Don't come here. The hotel wasn't even cheap, they charged over $100 AUD for one night. Save yourself the pain and go elsewhere, sleep at McDonalds, I don't know. My advice is to never book these small places in Singapore, pay an extra $100 and sleep at a proper hotel.

I will come back again

The Inn is located right in chinatown, Next to a MRT Station, Which makes everything reachable pretty easy
The room was super tiny, very loud through the whole Night and worst of all there was mold (a lot) on the ceiling… ! :(

The Location and original decor of the building.
The main issue with this accommodation is the uncleanliness . I didn’t want to put my suitcase down on the old, rotten carpet. As for the bathroom there were so many long back hairs on the floor and in the shower as well as missing and. broken tiles, I didn’t want to shower.

Not clean and noisy at night from street works. Not hotels fault, but cant understand a place where they have to maoe road works and installations at late night time for each night and during day no work at all😓

Great location, friendly staff. I asked "could I get a fresh towel?" and immediately felt like I asked the most stupid question that had ever been asked. It was at least funny. Foyer is very cool. Snacks across the road. Fridge fits beer.
Was a bit mouldy (for Singapore [i.e. very]), aircon was a bit bad, towels sometimes looked like floor mats, had to sit side saddle on the toilet, had to hunt in the halls for fresh towels, sheets didn't cover the bottom foot of the mattress (I felt like I'd been short sheeted), carpet was sticky and stained, wife complained about showerhead, shower door, and stairs (lack of lift). I've had worse and will have again. Know what you're getting and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Location - TOP NOTCH! It's only 1-2 minute walk to Chinatown MRT STATION Entrance A.
Friendly and helpful staff - The day upon arrival after settling in I was preparing to go out, however it started pouring. A female receptionist was extremely kind to lend me her folding umbrella as long as I want. Also, the same afternoon i have requested for extra hangers, she was efficient and extremely helpful!
The condition of the room is slightly old and there was a slight musky smell in the room. Would have been great if they could improve/upgrade the ventilation. Toilet fan doesn't work at all, hence why the musky smell in the room. Safety box was not functioning. Ceiling has obvious water stains. Carpet are also old and has a few black stains.
A MAJOR problem was the smoke detector. I noticed water droplets from the smoke detector were dripping down to the bed from night onwards till next morning.

Location was great
The room was mouldy
They had the access panel open in the bathroom so there was a big hole into the ceiling space
Rooms were very small
Only a plastic type top sheet provided
Bottom sheet was too small for the bed
Bed was smaller than normal

very good location, close to metros & buses and right in between Amoy street and China town so pretty perfect.
it definitely needs a refurb, it was comfortable but half the wallpaper was falling off and had been stuck on with ineffective sellotape as well as it looked a bit dated

The water tank in the reception delivered water of supreme quality. I'm also not a fan of shower doors, so when it fell off I didn't mind.
The dangerous damp and mould, the ripped sheets and the air con leaking on top of the bed.

I felt tricked into a windowless room: when I did the booking they knew it would be one of the rooms without windows, but they didn’t tell me - I would have cancelled the reservation right away if I had known that! Also the photos didn’t suggest a room without windows! Bad trick! The smallprint after the booking said „room with windows subject to availability „- but no explicit mention that my room was windowless. Not at all recommendable!
