About this house rental
Nestled in East Sandwich, this charming house for £336 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Just a short walk to Cape Cod Bay (by use of 25 steps across the dune) with use of a private beach is this lovely, well maintained home with 4 private bedrooms and 3 full baths that includes a large master suite with private bath to include a soaking tub. The home is open concept with an abundance of living space and sliding doors that lead to a large outdoor patio with a built in fireplace for an evening of relaxing after a day at the beach. The home has wide plank pine wood floors throughout and is maintained at the perfect temperature in the warm summer months with central AC. With this getaway there is no need to bring along beach necessities (towels, beach chairs, umbrella) or bed linens with these being available for use during the stay. Washer and dryer are available for use in the home as well as an outdoor grill for an evening BBQ. Outdoor private shower for easy clean up after a day at the beach. Take a short walk to the private association beach to enjoy a day in the sun or to catch a gorgeous sunset or sunrise for the early birds. This home is located in historic Sandwich making it only a short hour drive from Boston and Providence, RI. Our home is located off of 6A in a private residential community and has several near by dining locations for a night out. The location of our home makes for a perfect Cape Cod vacation getaway spot. The home rents from Saturday to Saturday during the summer months. All inquiries are welcome! We look forward to making your vacation a memorable and pleasant experience. A lovely, nicely decorated four bedroom home - perfect for my husband and I along with two other couples. Very clean, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, tons of towels. Lots of beach equipment and toys for children. Quiet neighborhood and just a short walk to the beach which we did almost daily. A couple things bear mentioning. Be advised that in a home this size, there are only two televisions and only one was functional. If you have children who use Play Stations or sports fans in your group who need different channels, this could be an issue. Also, cell phone reception is terrible. Calls were regularly dropped and cut off in mid-conversation which made it literally impossible to use your phone online. If reliable phone service with online capability is important to you, be advised of this situation. Texting, however worked without any problems. One of the reasons we selected this property was the feedback praising excellent communication with the hosts. That was not our experience as it sometimes took several messages to get calls back and messages would be left unanswered sometimes for days. I had a few conversations with the host and she was very pleasant.

This property was perfect for our family getaway. Our ages ranged from five months to, let’s say, considerably older. The house was spacious, clean, quiet, well appointed and fully met our needs. The hosts, Bill and Jackie, answered our questions, and communicated perfectly concerning the property and their expectations. we hope to be able to return in the future!

The owners were nice and provided information on activities to do nearby. The house was clean and had everything we needed to have a good vacation. There was a crib available and a small selection of toys and games that worked for our 1 and 8 yr old. There was also plenty of beach gear that allowed everyone from 1 to 88 yrs old to sit/play and enjoy the beach.

This vacation home was fabulous! It was very clean and the layout was perfect for our family. It was large enough for our extended family and we were able to use the crib in the nursery. The baby gates were an added plus since we did not have to worry about the stairs with the little ones.
The patio table was a good size and was able to accommodate a large group. The grill was in good shape and clean.
The owners were very responsive to our questions and very easy to communicate with.
If you are looking to rent a great vacation home for your family, I would highly recommend this one.

A Perfectly Spacious, Yet Cozy, Home
This property is truly a home. We felt welcomed the moment we pulled into the driveway. Down a curving road, it's nestled in a residential, quiet neighborhood that accesses a private beach.
The open space on the first floor has plenty of seating. We especially appreciated the round table in the common room to play many rounds of Uno. The seating at the kitchen island used by the non-cooks kept the cooks company while they made delicious meals in the extremely well equipped kitchen.
Another loved space was the patio with its fireplace. It's accessible from the common room as well as the breezeway, which is the perfect place to slide off shoes and keep beach belongings.
The bedrooms and three bathrooms were incredibly clean and comfortable. We appreciated the paper towels and small drinking cups in the bathrooms that helped to keep things tidy.
Our hosts, Jackie and Bill, are delightful, and sought to ensure our stay was comfortable. They made it a stress free experience; we really felt at home.
We absolutely loved it and look forward to staying again!

Perfect place for a family gathering
Jackie and Bill are A plus hosts. They responded to our concerns immediately. The notes they left and the way they marked everything was so helpful. The area is lovely. The beach is a half mile walk- which was just fine. I think instruction about managing walk to beach and how to get all the beach props down there could be clearer.

Best rental on the Cape
This vacation home was absolutely wonderful! The house was clean and spacious with an open floor plan great for entertaining. The large kitchen was equipped for every type of cook.
It was very family friendly and great for babies, with a high chair, a crib and safety gates upstairs and down.
The huge patio was perfect for a bbq with a very nice extra large Weber grill and a brick wood burning fireplace. Outside the patio is an extensive yard with soft green grass for yard games or for kids to play. The house has everything you need for a day at the beach, including beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards and sun umbrellas. The beautiful private beach is right at the end of road.
After a hot day, it’s great to walk into an air conditioned house and relax.
The master bedroom features a walk in closet and a large bathroom with shower and tub. The ceiling fan is nice too.
Jackie was very easy to reach and was so helpful and welcoming.
I highly recommend this beautiful home for a great vacation on Cape Cod. It’s definitely the best house we’ve ever rented.

Restful Retreat
We stayed at this lovely property July 20th- 27th. The house was clean and well equipped with a family friendly atmosphere. We loved the outdoor space and my grand daughters loved the game room. One night we roasted marshmallows in the outdoor fireplace. The beds were comfortable and quality sheets and bedding were appreciated after a long day at the beach. Sandwich is lovely and being close to the bridges makes the Saturday trip home so much easier. I would recommend this property to families looking to relax and have fun.

Absolutely perfect!
Wonderful, cozy rental in the most convenient of places! Not far from Boston (just drive to Quincy and take the T/redline into the city) Plymouth and all the other amazing places to visit on the Cape. Beautiful, private, wooded, quiet neighborhood. Easy access to the beach. The house is fully stocked (kitchen has every utensil, pot or pan you could possibly need), the house is kept impeccably clean and well maintained. This is the second year that our family has stayed here and we look forward to returning for many years to come! The owners are great hosts and very responsive to any question I had. This year the nights were cool enough to use the outdoor fireplace and the kids loved roasting marshmallows. This place just feels like home.

We are still new to renting houses as a family- but overall experience was easy and great. Amazing house, lots of space, a lot of care and thought into the property. Great grill, patio, space for kids. It’s a house you want to own. Easy walk to beach. Very safe too. Town access is a quick drive away.

The place was absolutely perfect. Fully equipped and very family and baby friendly.
This beach house was everything you can ask for for your family vacation. Lots of toys for the smaller kids, beach equipment, fresh towels and linens, outdoor fireplace, outdoor shower (with hot water)... The place was very big and could fit without a problem our group of 7 adults and 3 toddlers. The four bedrooms are cozy and there even is an extra bedroom with a crib if you are travelling with toddlers. The hosts were very nice and called before our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. They were just a text message away to hole stay if we had any questions. The beach is a 10 to 15 minutes walk away for the house through streets and then a path in the forest (bring mosquito spray). On low and high tide there are beautiful sand banks that form. We strongly recommand the place!

Wonderful house, wonderful vacation on the Cape!
I really can't say enough about this property. I have stayed in many VRBO type rental properties across the US, including a few others on the Cape and this place was by far the most well equipped rental I have ever had the pleasure of staying. The owners seem to genuinely care about making sure their guest enjoy the home. They were extremely helpful and very responsive to any questions I had.
The home has everything you will need to make your stay incredibly comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped, with small appliances (toaster, electric griddle, nice blender etc), ample cutting boards, cooking and serving dishes. The pantry is fairly well stocked with basic spices. They also have a VERY nice propane BBQ in the back yard.
The location is prefect. The private beach is gorgeous. I would stay there again and would recommend it to anyone planning a vacation on the cape. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic home in a great location!
We really cannot say enough great things about this home. The owners have thought of absolutely everything in this spacious, comfortable, cozy setting. The kitchen is very well equipped and the 4 burner Weber outdoor grill made cooking Father's day dinner a breeze. We had six adults (my husband, his mother, our 2 adult daughters and our niece) and we never ran out of hot water even though we all showered within the same timeframe (impressive)! The outdoor shower is private and fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor fireplace. We were at the Cape for a wedding in Sandwich and the location was very convenient. Only a ten minute drive to the town and a quick ten minute walk to the private beach. The hosts, Jackie and Bill were very welcoming and were prompt in answering our questions. We would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend this home.
