in 4 days, the room has not been cleaned... Staff was provided clean towels & bathroom products but never cleaned the room

A quiet room close to Insa-Dong shops

It was a very well appointed room with nice fittings. The staff were extremely kind and helpful.

It was a bit cramped and there was no restaurant or breakfast available in the hotel. They also didn't provide any cereal or milk, just a kettle. It was also hard to find a European style breakfast outside of the hotel but there was an instant noodle shop a few hundred metres away.

not worth the money besides the good location

great location. hotel was nice to accommodate our request to leave our luggage over for a few days. Room was also clean

disappointing

close to metro/subway station

The vicinity is noisy and a bit messy. The worst part is the bathroom - the shower area has no space for you to hang your clothes and the towel - they added a curtain between the door - you can only hang the clothes on a hanger on the door bar. The tower can get wet. there are no amenities in the hotel - no restaurant, no breakfast, no cafe. The coffee machine was broken throughout our stay

Exceptional

The room was wonderfully big, we had room to spread out with our luggage as there were 3 of us. Great for packing, also enjoyed the seating area with the coffee table, did not have to seat on the bed to watch TV.

Great hotel, comfortable room exactly as pictured.. staff were friendly and helpful. Metro station 3 minutes walk away, Authentic korean BBQ restaurant next door 17,000 Won per portion(150g) of pork belly with a bunch of sides. Convenience store 20 metres away. To get here from Incheon airport either bus 6002 get off at Jongno 3(17,000 won) or take AREX express train to seoul station and transfer to line 1 and go 3 stops to Jongno 3 station(exit 15) Go down the alley next to the pharmacy and follow it until you see the large hotel at the end on the right.

Stayed in February when it was below freezing outside but the room was too hot and you cant control your own thermostat. Options include turning on the air conditioning which seems ridiculous or opening windows. Not that big of a deal.

Comfortable and good location

The room was very comfortable and the location was very easy to find. For the price, everything was well taken care of, and I enjoyed my stay there.

fine but overpriced, free breakfast is no breakfast

the family room is great - really big and livable space, microwave etc downstairs for use. great location.

states it comes with a free breakfast but there was none, and they just said “no breakfast available” even though they describe an American style buffet with hot and cold food etc. The heated floors make sleeping quite difficult because the room gets to about 25• and you can’t switch it off.

Other things to keep in mind:

The staff were always happy to help and answer any questions I had about the surrounding area and even transportation. Even when we had a problem with our bathroom they offered us a room change. The hotel is also in a great location being walking distance to 2 train stations. You are able to access the green, orange, dark blue and purple lines. This made it very easy to get around Seoul without having to transfer trains. CU convenience store is also right outside the hotel and a pork bbq. There are many food options around the hotel. It is also a 10 minute walk to Ikseondong and a 5 minute walk to Insadong. One station away from Anguk which has many popular cafes and restaurants. Gwangjang Market is also a 10minute walk.

The only thing that I didn't like was the heating in the room. (went in winter). The floors and the room were always extremely hot even after adjusting the floor settings. You cannot adjust the room temperature. I found myself having to turn the aircon on and have the window open (-5 degree) to keep the room cool.

Everything was good, value for money. However, the window in the shower booth does not cover lights, you cannnot sleep after sun goes up due to the light coming in the bed room

Location was trumps

Location was top notch. Jongno 3 ga subway station is like just 2 minute walk out the door - with 3 separate lines heading through it. transport across the city was excellent because of it. and the food in the small alleys literally out the front door - selection was excellent! for those craving a bit more fast food - McD and Burger King are less than 5 mins away.

Very clean, nice looking and comfy place to stay

AC is not individual for each room. if someone want’s to heat up their room and you want to cool it - not going to work.

comfortable, convenient and friendly!

spacious room and really comfortable bed. more than enough room for two people to enjoy a few nights. very convenient location walking distance from subway and shops. enjoyed the late night strolls home. staff were incredibly helpful and polite. helped us organise with the airport to have a lost suitcase returned to the hotel for us. we were incredibly thankful to the staff.

Very nice hotel in a cool neighbourhood

I really appreciated the fact that I could leave my bags all day at the reception because I had a very very late flight. They have a ticketing system, it was great. I had booked my room very last minute and everything was perfect.

Fantastic stay in a quiet neighborhood, steps away from all the excitement of Seoul

We loved this hotel, specifically because the location was so close to everything, the alleys surrounding the hotel were filled with locals so you get a more authentic experience, and the hotel itself is really comfortable. The concierge were incredibly friendly, the bed was comfy, the room was huge by Asian hotel standards, and the area itself felt super safe.

There's nothing I didn't like per se. But Western travelers might not love the bathroom concept that's one open concept room. I loved it because it's pretty standard in Korea, and that's the experience I came for. Just buy some flip flops for the bathroom if it bothers you. I did notice a little bit of mildew around the sink that could use a little bit of a scrub.

Basic but great hotel

Very spacious room in a great part of Seoul! Within a 5-30 minute walk to everything we wanted to do in the city. A couple of blocks from subways. The neighbourhood and street seem sort of strange at first but felt very safe at all times and really grew on us! We were very happy to stay in that neighbourhood, surrounded by locals.

Was more basic than expected. Felt a little a dated.
