This spacious and beautifully maintained mountain home is located in the heart of Tahoe in beautiful Tahoe City. Nestled among tall trees and 1 block from Lake Tahoe with private HOA beach, this is the ideal vacation home ! Room for everyone with 4 bedrooms (2 bedrooms downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs ), each bedroom with multiple beds, 2 full baths and extra shower in sauna. Living room with game table, Smart TV with cable service, stereo system, DVR and WI-FI. Family Room features a stone gas fireplace - just turn on by using the remote control - beautiful ambiance! Beautifully remodeled kitchen which is fully equipped new with dishwasher, microwave, double ovens & 6 burner gas stove - everything provided including dishes, pots & pan, cooking utensils. There is dining area with large dining table that seats 12 plus additional table in living room that seats 6. The utility room has washer and dryer and 2nd refrigerator. of of cooking utensils and appliances. Relax in the bubbling spa on back deck - always ready to use - towels are provided! After a fun day in Lake Tahoe, the cedar lined sauna awaits you! Our home is in an Ideal Location in Tahoe City - near beautiful Lake Tahoe, ski resorts, great restaurants and shopping. Easy access off Hwy 89 with flat parking and just minutes from Tahoe City - street and driveway area snow plowed during winter! Everything is provided in this home - dishes, cooking and baking supplies and linens - just come and be ready to have fun! This home is available for an amazing summer vacation and during the Fall and holidays. During summer months the minimum rental period is 6 nights. During Fall the minimum rental period is 4 days. Private HOA beach with dock and grass BBQ area. Hurry and make reservations .Perfect for families to enjoy. Large rooms with multiple beds - bathrooms with heated tile floors, double sink vanities, beautiful showers and bathtub, sauna with separate shower. We had an incredible experience in Tahoe all thanks to the attentiveness and comfort John and Suzie provided by trusting us with their home. I truly don’t think we would have had the same experience without this house.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! The check in process was easy and Suzie was very responsive to a couple of questions after we checked in. The house was a fantastic place to hang out and sleep in between activities at Tahoe, and the hot tub relaxing at the end of a busy day. The location was perfect, near shops and restaurants, but not in the midst of town. The kitchen is well equipped, though a couple of appliances dated. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing time in this comfy beautiful home! The location can't be beat, the home was well stocked, the yard perfect for our 4 grandkids to play. Having access to the private beach was wonderful too. We will definitely book again for our group of 11. Thank you John and Suzy!

We had a great time at this lovely Tahoe house despite the terrible fires across the lake! The house had everything we needed for a fun family gathering! Loved the private beach, quiet neighborhood & proximity to town. We used the spa. played horseshoes, barbecued & generally enjoyed family time in this well equipped, comfy home!! We would love to return when there is not a major wildfire burning in the region! Thanks for sharing your lovely home!!

The backyard was great for family activities and the kids enjoyed the jacuzzi. The home itself could have been cleaner, ie carpets were stained, dusty throughout. Kitchen was stocked with pots and pans. Needs upgrades on carpet and appliances.

Lots of space for everyone. House was well equipped. Met our needs nicely. Great space for parking. We had four different family groups driving in and we were worried about enough vehicle space. Nice family home.

Where do I. Begin . It is a real home and add the private beach with pier and my grandchildren swam to the pier at the resort next door the water is not that deep. Also . Home is close to town for walking to and it is just perfect quiet and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our week long stay! The owner was extremely flexible letting us check in early and stay a little late. Backyard perfect for hanging out at home - the hot tub, horseshoes, sauna were all a huge hit! Easy walk to Tahoe House or Tahoe City every morning for coffee or to the bike shop.

This home was absolutely perfect. As all previous reviews have mentioned, any and everything you might need has been thought of! This was a family trip of three generations. My 5 grandchildren (6-14y) LOVED this home and did not want to leave. In fact, they all agreed this was their favorite rental home EVER!The loft doubled as a fantastic "fort" with its rope and ladder entry. To say it was a huge hit would be an understatement. Perfect for the kids to play games and talk. To add to their delight, there were crawdad "fishing poles" which they used off the dock at the beach. They "fished" for hours, named their crawdads and, of course, at end of day returned their "friends" to the lake. The rocky lake entry provided great fun and exploration also.The adults loved the location, HOA beach, the outdoor spa and the wonderful beds. The beds were without a doubt comfortable which is not always the case in rental properties.The property location was perfect for hiking, boating, playing and other outdoor activities. The beach area was small but plenty big enough with grass and trees, sand, and rocks at the water's edge. The kids loved playing and walking along the boulders. The HOA beach was secluded, well cared for and never crowded. The lake as always was gorgeous! Lastly, the home makes the most of its square footage. It was wonderfully designed for families to enjoy each other but at times may need a quiet moment. With 10 of us we never felt crowded. The large backyard was also perfect for outdoor games.My grandchildren have asked to return this winter!Thank you to Suzie for a wonderful vacation. We will return!

We stayed over the New Year's Holiday, and the trip was terrific. We had 3 families with children ranging in ages from 1-9. The owner has thought of everything!! She stocks the pantry with all the staples you could ask for, and is very organized for all household needs. The house feels like a cabin is very comfortable. Absolutely will stay again, the house was great in the winter, looking forward to trying it out in the summer!!!

Our first Christmas away from home and we couldn’t have picked a better home in Tahoe to celebrate our white Christmas! Although initially I was a bit nervous, our arrival at this wonderful home immediately dispelled any doubts I had. This incredibly spacious, yet cozy, cabin has everything necessary for a relaxing and warm get-away…it met and exceeded all of our expectations! As mentioned in the many other favorable reviews, the owners are incredibly responsive and organized – they do everything possible to ensure your stay with them is everything you want it to be…they have provided a well-stocked home-away-from home with everything you could possibly need!
Just a short walk or drive and you’re in Tahoe City with access to our favorite breakfast place, Rosie’s Cafe! Due to the great location, our family was also able to walk to Granlibakken for the day for a wonderful afternoon of sledding. After the sledding, it was great returning home knowing that the beautifully maintained hot tub and sauna were awaiting our arrival.
In addition, the home is very close to our favorite ski spot, Squaw and also offers easy access to both Homewood and Alpine Meadows. Can’t rave enough about the location as it was so easy to get to despite the fresh snow – frequent plowing kept the street and driveway open throughout our entire stay. The owners also ensured that there was plenty of firewood available for our arrival – spending time around the fireplace made for a truly relaxing vacation.
Sitting and chatting around the fireplace, playing games around the game table in the living room or building snowmen in the backyard are just of the few things that we enjoyed during our visit…cooking Christmas dinner together in the kitchen (with all the comforts of home like a double oven and more) while listening to the lovely sound system play our favorite holiday music, was another way we passed our time during our relaxing visit at this great home.
The location can’t be beat and the house lends itself beautifully to families…the owners are very responsive and incredibly helpful and kind. You really get the sense that this property is very well cared for and their guests receive the same attentive care. We know we did! Without a doubt, we shall book here again the next time we go to Tahoe…hoping to try it during the summer this time as the beach was only a few steps away and very inviting!

For our summer family trip, we decided to go to Lake Tahoe. The family group consisted of 3 people from New Hampshire, 5 (including a toddler) from Virginia, 2 from Maryland, 2 from Southern California and one from North Dakota. We pick a spot and meet up each year to get together. I will say that this rental was at the bottom of my list narrowed down to my top 5 choices for a house to rent in Tahoe (which was slim due to the time we were going). As everyone knows, renting a place far from home can be an exhausting task and a little frightening if you’re traveling that far to end up in a place that doesn’t meet yours or your groups’ expectations and can affect the entire trip. After spending a week here with 13 people, I can assure you that you will LOVE this place as much as we did. I’m glad things worked out the way they did and we rented this place. Suzie was quick to respond to my questions via e-mail about the house.
Upon arrival, the house was much bigger than it looked from the photos and the space layout was perfect for summer and winter use. The rooms have their own names and sense of style and living room has a high ceiling and is split level with two separate seating areas for a group to play cards, board game or watch TV with the other area that is good to relax, have a drink and chat about the day or life. The bedrooms have a lot of room in them and the sound insulation in the house is really good. Everyone in our group wakes up and goes to bed at different times. You couldn’t hear music or people talking when you went to your bedroom, and it’s nice to get a good night’s sleep after playing on the lake or taking a long hike to the top of Squaw. The back yard was a perfect size and has a horse shoe pit out back that my brothers and I loved. Easy walk down to the beach. The house design layout is very well thought-out and it doesn’t hurt that Suzie and John might be two of the most organized people I’ve ever known. Every tool, cup, towel, spice, utensil, whatever is in a logical place and labeled. Run out of glasses from the kitchen cupboard, not a problem, there is a note on the back of the cabinet that says “More wine glasses in the living room ”. If we find ourselves traveling back to Tahoe again, we will without a doubt be staying here again. Thanks so much Suzie and John for all the help and quick responses with our questions. You guys are awesome!

WOW! That sums it up. This "old style" home has it all. I have never stayed at a location that was so organized! The owners were positive, responsive and easy to work with. The home is exactly as indicated...comfortable beds, excellent supplies (even olive oil and spices in the cabinets), fully stocked kitchen, hot tub working perfectly, heated floors in the bathrooms,etc., etc,. I hope to stay here again.
