A good place to stay for a couple of days.

Location was good

Room was horrible with a very bad smell carpet of the room was extremely dirty, flash wasn't good, shower was licked. No wifi service, tv was damaged, telephone wasn't active, there was very bad smell in blankets etc... It was an disaster

The hotel is located downtown Brussels. The beautiful pictures on the website of the hotel is completely different from the reality. All Facilities, from the elevator to TV and airconditioner are old(more than 60 years) and in desperate need of maintenance and renewal. when you ride the elevator you can't help but wonder whether you will get off alive! Mattress and bed covers are torn, dirty and smell so bad that you can't breathe.

This hotel is a true scam. If you looking for Dirty, old and bad smell hotel then this hotel is the ideal place.

Hotel too expensive to offer nothing.

location is the best thing

the room isn’t cleaned properly, the mattress is old and smells, the toilet don’t work and the shower has no support to hang the shower head.

with the price hotel condition was good, very friendly stuff in reception.

room was big with a big bathroom, clean and nice. location is very good you need just a 10-minute walk to get to all attractions. next to the hotel is a lot of restaurants, and shops. the stuff is very friendly

all furniture was old. beds were a bit uncomfortable, and the elevator is super old but it's working perfectly. The hotel doesn't have a kitchen so you can not cook, but MacDonald's and some cheap restaurants are in front of the hotel.

At least there were no bed bugs

Good location, 10 minute walk from the centre

First room had a leak in the ceiling right above the pillow. Essentially got waterboarded my first night there. Luckily I was moved into a different room. The second room was fine, nothing fancy, but I didn't expect anything special just based off previous reviews.

Dont go here

Hello, Very dirty place, there is a lot of noise of the street and there is a lot light contamination. sleeping in this place has disgusted us(3people) , they gave us a very dirty room, rats are heard and there are cockroaches. everything smells like dust and cigarettes. Seriously don't come here. It should be illegal to pay for these types of conditions.

Decor dated, shower just laying in bath, no hook to put shower on so had to hold it whilst showering, no show curtain.

I have never stayed in a place with such a low bookings rating ! It is undeserved, the hotel would have been quite grand 50 years ago - and it is VERY tired, and not very clean. But it is cheap and in an A1 location. Dont expect much, and you might be pleasantly surprised like we were . Top floor rooms have balconies with good views over Brussels.

Disappointing

the location during the day was great, not so great at night, very seedy feel to the area.

the room was awful, no natural light. our room had a sort of well in the middle which was dirty and you could hear noise from all the other rooms. most depressing hotel we have stayed at, couldn’t wait to leave.

It was like in the old lonely planet days. Old, cheap, funny. My daughter saw her first tube tv, no wifi, a 90 year old cleaning laddy, an elevator with Stephan King feeling, it was great. Not recomended for a romantic weekend.
