The location was ideal, situated between Hyde Park and South Kensington station, and was priced below anything in the area, so am happy with those aspects.
The room was compact, had a desk fan which was welcome on a wamr evening, and facilities included tea/coffee and toiletries. USB charging socket included in the bedside alcove, and more power sockets are located under the desktop if you need more. It's clear that this is student accommodation during the academic year, but if it's offered at a good price then it works as a no-frills place to stay.
The wear-and-tear in the room showed a little, with stained desk chair and loose toilet seat, so some sharper maintenance wouldn't go amiss.
Check-in was efficient, with friendly staff, however I was asked for payment, even though the booking.com confirmation showed this as complete. No fault of the staff on site, but something needs sorting between Princes Gardens and booking.com

Brilliant location - a beautiful and quite area, yet in walking-distance to most things.
Nice and clean room. Easy check-in and check-out. Considering the price, it's a good deal.
As expected, it's not fancy or brand new. It's very clear that it's a dorm room. This didn't bother me at all.

Great location, easy access with Piccadilly line. Less then 5 min to the Natural history museum. The room was like the picture.
Fire alarm at 2 a.m.

Location!! Quite clean. Quiet. Comfortable. Has everything you need for a few days’ stay. Opposite princes’ gardens lovely to sit and read and view it from the room.
The desk wasn’t 100% clean. Otherwise very good!

Good location and cheap price.
I was surprised to see a hotel style kettle and beverage tray, although the mug was dirty.
It was filthy, I had low expectations given the type of property (student halls of residence rented out during summer break) but even that wasn’t met. The bed was freshly made, although very uncomfortable, I expect students bring mattress toppers, and towels were laid out. But the small shower room clearly hadn’t been cleaned, the floor was carpeted in long black hairs, the sink was dirty and the bin hadn’t been emptied since the last occupant. I did wonder if they would clean during my second day, they had clearly been in as they had removed the duvet from the cover and left both screwed up on the bed, but no the bathroom was not cleaned, the pile of hair I had swept under the sink was still there.

The room was clean and silent, in a very nice area of London in front of the famous museums.
At the check-in they did not explain well how to access the room, so I was uselessly attempting to find an entrance at 1am after a long trip. Having breakfast at the Cafeteria at the Imperial College is a nice experience, but they did not have de-lactosed or soy/hay milk.

This is a very nice college dorm with its own bathroom. There is everything you need to sleep comfortably. The metro is not far, it's the center of London, you can walk to the park and museums, you can also walk to Buckingham Palace if you like to walk.

Great location, lovely views of the gardens, quiet.
Nil much. Having a Bath mat would be useful.

The breakfast was fine - pretty standard, although served in a slightly depressing uni canteen. The location was excellent - 5 mins walk from tube station in a nice area. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Room was extremely basic, but beds were comfortable and it was very quiet, which is fine for a visit to London if you're not in your room very much.
Signage wasn't great to direct guests to breakfast area.
