Nestled in Galveston Island, this attractive house for £232 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Welcome to Blue Moon! This exceptional 2231 sq ft canal home is located on a double cul-de-sac lot in Isla Del Sol on Galveston's West End. There are four bedrooms, three bathrooms and an abundance of outdoor entertaining space with plenty of seating for all of your guests. Don't forget to bring your fishing poles! You can fish right off the extended dock, equipped with both underwater and overhead fishing lights, perfect for night fishing! Additional features include a boat dock and slip, outdoor shower, fish cleaning station, charcoal and propane grills, full size washer and dryer, and two refrigerators. Don't forget about the shaded 'palapa' on the upper deck for outdoor dining, or simply enjoying a morning coffee with a view. Notes: Boat slip is available, no access to electronic lift. Propane for the grill is supplied by renters, please refill the tank after use; Charcoal grill also provided. Blue moon is dog friendly. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs, with a combined weight limit of 50 lbs. There is an additional $100 non refundable pet fee per dog. These fees can be added at any time after booking. ***Please be aware, this house has outdoor cameras.*** Ground Level: Parking for 4 vehicles; No garage access; Outdoor shower with Hot & Cold; Multiple tables and seating for outdoor dining, built in bar top overlooking the water, boat slip, large dock for fishing, spot lights and underwater fishing lights. Main Level: Large, partially covered deck with palapa and outdoor seating. Living room large enough for the whole family and a pull out Queen size sleeper sofa. Fabulous kitchen with attached dining area, and over-sized island with flat cook-top. Off the kitchen area is the first bedroom with a King size bed, TV and a view of the canal. Shared bathroom with a shower/tub combo accessible from the hallway or kitchen. Bedroom two has a Twin daybed with a pull out trundle, and TV. Bedroom three has a Queen bed, and TV. Large hallway closet with extra blankets, pillows, and storage. Master suite with a King size canopy bed, private large bathroom with a walk in shower, and Jacuzzi tub. Additional mud room with side exterior stair case access, features an extra refrigerator, washer / dryer, counter-top folding area with sink, and full bathroom with a stand up shower only. Location: 7-10 minute walk to the beach or 2 minute drive; 9 mile drive to 61st Street; 12.2 mile drive to 25th & Strand; 8.3 miles to Moody Gardens/Schlitterbahn Waterpark. Notes: Although provided, WiFi access/Cable/Dish service can be unreliable here on the West End of Galveston Island. My husband and I, family and friends had a wonderful time. It was a very memorable birthday for him. The outdoor patios were a big, big hit for our group of 12, from the roomy upstairs deck and seating to the downstairs open patio deck and seating. That cool breeze on a hot June afternoon was a pleasant surprise. Inside the house was roomy, clean, and nice and cool. The kitchen was very roomy for all our guests and was very well equipped! The only negative was that the underwater fish lights didn't work. We didn't notice the sign in the laundry room with instructions until the day we were leaving. Our bad. We will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Fabulous property for our Thanksgiving weekend at the beach. House had everything we needed for our group of 9. Wonderful neighborhood with boat launch and dock for the boat. Beach is a 3 minute walk from the house. Definitely recommend this property! Rental company communication was very good.

The property was everything we wanted and more. We enjoyed having the outdoor shower coming back from the beach. The seating options were perfect for our group of 11. I would suggest bringing life vests for any children who cannot swim. We saw so many sea critters from the deck including a gar, jellyfish, and a 3ft alligator! The beach access was just a short drive away and was never crowded. Truly a great place to stay.

We just love this home. Always clean and very accommodating. This was our second stay at blue moon. Feels like a home away from home. A little disappointed that the underwater lights weren’t working this time, but I’m sure they will get them fixed soon. So quiet and relaxing and we are already looking to book again.

We had a wonderful time getting to be together as a family. Everyone got to enjoy each other in the common areas. Our favorite was always sitting outside on either deck and either fishing or just getting to enjoy the scenery and unplug. Very beautiful and relaxing!!!

The house was spacious enough for our family of ten. We really enjoyed the boat dock and access to the bay for fishing. The younger members of our group had lots of fun fishing off the dock and going to the beach. This was a great get away for us!

Our deep sea fishing trip got rained out as did much of the weekend. We were thankful to have covered fishing spots right at the house. We had a lot of fun catching 40+ fish right off the dock and also enjoyed the community pier.
