Set right on the beach in Gulf Shores, this bright, sunny, Gulf-front vacation home has a covered deck with a porch swing and stairs leading straight out to the sand. When you're not playing on the beach, bust out a board game on the picnic table on the deck, or head inside to stream Netflix on one of the HDTVs. This home also features a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar. When it's time to dine, there are a number of local beachfront eateries within three miles of the house, with additional dining options in downtown Gulf Shores. For all-ages fun, Waterville USA and the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo are both located less than four miles from the property. Things to Know Stairs are required to access this rental. This property is available to groups, snowbirds, and (for a fee) weddings. Please contact us for special rates and more information. Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. The property is managed by Vacasa Alabama, LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

The house was clean and very practical. Excellent for 2-3 families, IMO. The amenities were very good. The access to the beach was fabulous and driving to Gulf Shores central area was about three minutes. We loved it and would highly recommend this place.

We loved the location on the beach and a short walk down to the ocean.
The house was very roomy and larger that it appears from the outside. With connecting bath and bedrooms it was convenient. Only one bedroom did not connect, the one with bunk beds. The drive-in parking area was very tight, so only one of our vehicles was narrow enough to be pulled up under the house. But there is parking enough for more vehicles in the driveway.

THE LOCATION OF THE HOUSE IS PERFECT. CLOSE ENOUGH TO TOWN THAT YOU CAN GO TO THE SHOPS AND FOOD JOINTS WITHIN MEAR MINUTES. ALSO BEING RIGHT ON THE BEACH, YOUR ARE LITERAL STEPS FROM THE OCEAN.

Great location for our group of 7. Very quiet and beach was not crowded in our area. Enjoyed the spacious house with full size washer and dryer. Plenty of towels and hot water.

The location of this property is amazing! Steps from the beach. We visited Gulf Shores for a family spring break. There were 6 adults and 4 kids. The double bunk bed room was perfect for the kids. The house was clean, but could use some updating. The house was stocked with kitchen utensils, pans, etc. however didn't have some of the common items I typically find in these homes such as salt, pepper, coffee filters, etc. Overall we had an great stay!

The view from the south side/ beach side is breathtaking. Nothing better than enjoying your refreshments from the covered deck. The house is laid out to maximize the view with living areas beachside, and bedrooms and bathrooms down the hall. It has great WIFI, cable, Netflix and streaming options and a fully stocked kitchen. What's not to love!

I can’t imagine a better location for the group that I brought. We came to celebrate a 13th birthday and it was the best choice for our crew to spend the week and celebrate on the beach. Space was just right for our group. House was everything we needed and the location is perfect!

We enjoyed this place ;)this was our 1st time staying in a beach house normally we stay in a condo.. we are a big family and we all have imperfections;) I felt this beach house fit our family good! It was not then fanciest and had a lot of imperfections but it was perfect for us bc we are not fancy people:) we would def stay again!

We had a great time in Gulf Shores at the Beach House, the West Beach location is perfect. Could have used more bath towels, but was not a big deal. Refrigerator needs updating as lack of shelves so storage was challenging, but we stacked and made it work. Would definitely stay here again, was perfect for our party of 11

It only has a 28 gallon water heater so you will run out of hot water quickly. Kitchen is packed with cooking supplies. The porch has been redone. The beds were great. Will definitely rent again.

The Beach House was perfect for our family and the weather was perfect as well!! It was clean, lots of cooking utensils and loved having the two tables and chairs. The kids used one table as their crafts and game table. The location was great too!!

My girls and I arrived around 6pm after our long drive in to discover that the house had a completely different interior than the one that was listed online. The exterior was the same but the interior was a different house completely. I would have considered staying there but the property was dirty, smelled terrible and the windows on the deck wouldn’t close completely or lock, which left no way for the house to be secured.
I called the local property management company, Vacasa, and they took forever to get back to me so I ended up calling VRBO, and having a 3 way call with VRBO and Vacasa. I cannot say enough about how helpful and supportive VRBO’s customer service was. They metaphorically “held my hand” through a couple hours worth of sorting things out with Vacasa. After 4 hours of back and forth, Vacasa ended up moving me to a completely different location 30 minutes away. The new house ended up being adequate, clean and secure and the rest of our trip ended up being enjoyable, but man, it was a ROUGH start! While Vacasa ended up doing the right thing by moving me, I had to be super assertive to get an equivalent (on the beach) house, and they gave me a fair amount of attitude/push back when I wasn’t ok with a different house (a few blocks from the beach). I would be hesitant to rent from Vacasa again, but was extremely impressed with VRBO’s customer service.

Better than pictured or described!
Perfect house on a nearly private beach. The pictures don't do it justice as a lot of upgrades/updates have been made in the last year or so. New pictures should be posted. The living room furniture has been replaced, the kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are comfortable, the view of the beach is unbelievable and the covered deck is awesome. The house has 5 TV's with cable and Netflix to enjoy as well. We have already booked our 2022 stay at The Beach House!

Everything in the house is old and needs fixed or replaced. Cracked peeling paint everywhere, duct tape on the plumbing fixtures, door knobs and doors that do not lock. Huge Cockroaches in the cabinets and in the house in general. Nasty dirty light switches throughout. The furniture is stained and nasty and gross, The pillows from the couches stink. Rails on the stairs and patio or flimsy and about to break. It’s a real shame to have such a beautiful asset in the location it’s in and not take care of it.
