Situated in Cudjoe Key, this charming house for £177 per night is a great option for your next trip. Gorgeous stilt home with beautiful ocean views. This Lobstering paradise is just 1 house down from open water on a deep 60 foot wide canal, breath taking open water views, direct access to the Atlantic and the Gulf via Kemp channel, 35' concrete dock/seawall with a fish cleaning station. Beautiful views of the open water from the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Perfect location to tie up your boat. This is a fully furnished 2 bedroom 2 bath home with spectacular sunrise and sunset views. The master bedroom has a Queen size bed, the second bedroom has twin beds. Central A/C and heat, overhead ceiling fans, full kitchen with microwave, full size washer/dryer, HD flat screen TV in living room and master bedroom, high speed internet, WiFi, and U-verse TV, beach towels, linens, dishes, glasses and wine glasses etc. During the peak summer/winter seasons and holidays, rentals are from Saturday to Saturday. Marina store with fuel onsite and 2 double wide boat ramps, Recreation center with billiards, darts, and ping pong, Post Office and a Library. Our gated community has a 24 Hour Security. We have not overlooked any utensils in the kitchen - there's even a sturdy blender for tropical drinks! Amenities: Patio chairs, fish cleaning station, seawall/boat dockage, and BBQ Gas Grill. Central Air Conditioning/Heating, High speed internet, WiFi, HD TV, additional TV in the master bedroom, queen sleeper sofa, full kitchen, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, cooking utensils, linens provided, washer, dryer. Gated private community with Marina store with fuel onsite, bait and convenience market, boat wash down station, 80 foot heated pool, hot tub, large kiddie pool, salt water swimming lagoon, convenience market, small post office, 2 lighted tennis courts, basketball, bocce courts, ping pong. NOTE Must Read! Venture Out Resort charges a one-time entrance fee of $100 plus tax (cash or check paid at the gate when you arrive), which covers everyone in your party, this fee gives you unlimited use of the Resort's amenities including the 80 foot heated swimming pool. **If you arrive with more than 6 people which is the maximum allowed in the rental unit, you will not be permitted in the park and no refund will be given. Located just 20 minutes to either Key West to the west or Bahia Honda State Park (voted one of the top 10 beaches in the U.S.) to the east, a water-lover's dream. This 69 acre resort was created to put the ocean at your back door. Activities: Swimming, boating, skiing, sailing, biking, fishing, lobstering, tennis, bocci, ping pong, basketball, scuba diving, parasailing, airplane rides, golf in Key West, snorkeling Looe Key. Area: We are located on accessible deep water boating channels to both the beautiful back country (bayside) as well as a quick ten-minute run to the open Atlantic (oceanside) and it's Coral Reefs. Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary is a nearby must for snorkeling and diving in the crystal blue Atlantic. On the gulf side, Cudjoe Key offers the Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge...A kayak or small boaters paradise. For Divers and Fisherman: The retired 523 foot WWII U.S. missile tracking ship Gen. Hoyt S. Vandenberg that once tracked space launches off Cape Canaveral, and also monitored Soviet missile launches during the Cold War, has been intentionally sunk off Key West in late May to become an artificial reef in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.

Loved Barbara's place! I especially liked seating on the porch every morning and watching the sun come up. Also, it was nice having the carport to park our van and bikes.

The additional $113 required at gate by resort is a turn off. We knew about it ahead of check-in, but we don't have a boat and only other amenities are the pool, so that's kind of a bummer to add that expense after paying for rental and other fees.

The home was lovely and clean. Ruby, the onsite property manager, was great in getting us set up with bicycles so we could ride to the pool, because the unit did not have any. If I were to recommend any improvements, it would be to add a few extras like this - bikes, kayaks, fishing gear, travel coffee mugs, etc, since many other units have them. Overall, the house and location are great, and our family enjoyed our stay!

At the far northern end of VO with a great, unobstructed view of the bay and a balcony exposed to the usual easterly breeze, this was an ideal location.
Docking was easy with washdown water and and an electrical outlet nearby, and the dedicated bait/chum/fish freezer on the ground level was very convenient.
The interior was roomier than other places we've stayed in VO. We normally bring most of our food and cook meals, and the kitchen was great for that with a large island with barstoool seating. The grill on the ground level was large, clean, and fully functional. Having two full bathrooms (one with a tub) was also a big upgrade for our family of four.
The host/owner, Barbara, was consistently responsive and accommodating. Thanks for a great vacation!

Thank you so much for sharing your home with us on our annual trip to the Lower Keys. Perfectly furnished home and with the most stunning views. We have been caming to Venture Out for the last 3 years, and this has been our favorite by far. Easy access to the canal and the open water from motor or kayak boat. Our neighbors did quite a bit of fishing from the canal and caught loads of fish, fishing is just not our jam. We did have some trouble with the grill, but the on-site manager was quick to come over and assist. We hope to book with you in the years to come.

Another Vacation in Paradise
My husband and I have been coming to Venture Out for the past 12 years. We loved staying in your home. It was very clean, comfortable, had everything we needed for our stay and we loved the view of the ocean from our porch. Going to the pool is one of our favorite past times. This place was amazing! Beautiful sunsets and beautiful sunrises, from the same balcony. The community was wonderful, friendly, quiet, and located conveniently for us. We spent time in both Key West and Marathon. We’ll be back!
