Beautiful property, beach access was very close, super quiet, exactly what I needed.

Great price and location (and nice place overall), but found out first night that all beds are the most basic, hard beds out there with no mattress protectors or pads. Made for rough nights, so much so that we decided to leave a day early because our whole family was exhausted and needing a good nights rest. Also, seems to have some bug/wasp issues. We killed pests the entire time. Internet/Wi-Fi didn’t work but Vacasa was very responsive in getting a tech. ( and very responsive in general and helpful with communication through our stay!). I assume overall, that the great price we got for Labor Day weekend was a reflection of the place.

This unit had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Clean, comfortable beds, convenient to activities.

The condo was fine for our stay. It was a good value for Seabrook. The bedrooms are small as is the living space. This wasn’t a major problem as we spent most of our time outside. We did have an issue with insects; multiple wasps, a bumblebee, crickets and ants were all found in the unit. Some of us had ants crawling on us in our sleep. As this unit is elevated, it is strange that there were so many ants. I think it’s obvious that they need to get a good pest management program in place, and make sure all openings to the outside are caulked/sealed.

Excellent, quiet retreat from the city. We loved the second floor living and bedrooms up and away from the street with great views of the landscaping. It was a little confusing figuring out how to use the amenities, but the helpful staff cleared that up.

We loved staying here. It had enough space and is nicely updated. The bathrooms look great. It was very clean and we had no issues. Everything that was needed was there.
Could only need a table to eat outside.
Location is very close to the beach and pool.

This was our third trip to Seabrook and the Sealoft Villas. The location is great and we have loved our previous stays. We were disappointed in this property and Seabrook Island this year. The property management, Vacasa, texted repeatedly for the first two days yet were unresponsive when I let them know about missing and broken items. We were given two incorrect codes for the neighborhood pool and did not have access to it during our stay. The mattresses were old, cheap, and missing mattress pads. Bathroom doors were broken, kitchen cabinets and appliances showed a lot of wear and were breaking down, the upstairs window blinds were stuck open. Overall, it was a ver tired property compared to others in the same area. The Seabrook Island pools were extremely crowded this year and they now require non-members to wear unremovable neon wristbands all week like you’re at an amusement park. You have to pay a pretty steep price for towel use at the beach club and are strictly not allowed to use your own. We often eat at the Pelican Nest several nights during the week, but couldn’t even get in until the last night. It was a nice trip overall, but we will be looking elsewhere next year.

Staying on seabrook at various properties biannually for 30 years. Know the island and properties well. Accommodation was fine. No surprises good or bad. Minor issues-no hair dryer. Beds (mattress) was old, worn out, sore back after two days. No battery in ceiling fan remote for living room. Burned out light bulbs (dining room). Biggest problem was both toilets had dried fecal material on side walls of the bowls upon arrival. Had to drive to Fresh Fields for cleaning supplies (none in unit) and self clean. Hence the 2 rating for cleanliness. Rental company was apologetic.

This space was perfect for 3 adults with 3 separate sleeping spaces. It was light and bright, the kitchen was very functional and well-stocked, with the exception of coffee filters so if you are a coffee drinker bring those! Super comfy new gray couch (listing photo shows an older cream colored sofa) and the TV was huge, we enjoyed a couple of movies via my phone/casting. Our one disappointment was the bedding. There was no mattress pad on the queen size bed, the blankets were very worn, and the pillows for all of the beds felt like they were the cheapest they could be. This listing was a reasonable rate which was wonderful, but please spend a bit of money to upgrade the pillows and mattress pads. It would make a big difference. Also, note that the amenity card only includes access to the outdoor pools. Every other amenity is an up charge and I wish that information was included in the listing as we would have opted out and just rented bikes for a day or two instead. Beach walks were amazing- catch a sunrise for sure!

The gate person had a different name listed for our property, so check in took forever and was clunky.
The AC wasn't working and we got no sleep the first night because the unit was uninhabitable, sweltering, humid and miserable. The internet and cable were not working, so we couldn't even watch TV to take our minds off it. The AC was fixed the next day and they dropped off a temporary internet box around 4pm. We wasted the entire day waiting for technicians. The property manager said they would just let the techs in, but I did not feel comfortable letting a total stranger roam our place with all our stuff while we were gone. The cable did not get fixed till the 4th day. There was no coffee, coffee filters, sugar, salt, pepper, laundry pods, and there was 1 extra TP for 4 people for a week. We had to buy all those things. We saw several cockroaches running around. One was about 2 inches long. There was no offer of compensation for all the days without the listed utilities and I tried in vain for 4 days to talk to a supervisor. I asked for a small reimbursement that I thought was very fair considering they ruined 4 days of our 7 day trip. It was the equivalent of about 19% of what I paid. They said no. Then I spent hours putting together an arbitration suit and suddenly, I was contacted by a supervisor and they now wanted to give me the small reimbursement instead of going to arbitration. I just wanted the nightmare to be over, so I took it and we salvaged what was left of our "vacation". I don't enjoy writing bad reviews, but we gave Vacasa and VRBO every opportunity to make this right and they didn't. I would not stay in one of their properties again, however the Seabrook Island location is beautiful and I would definitely recommend the area to others.

Everything we needed. Easy walk to the beach. Only minor complaint is that most of the wall power outlets are controlled by various wall switches and it took some getting used to for turning on lamps, laptops, etc.

We noticed several bugs while staying there, we had TV issues, TVs in all bedrooms would be nice and instructions for remotes and existing TVs would be nice, lots of remotes and it was confusing. Some outside seating would also be nice. Other than that we enjoyed it

There are stains on the dinning room table. And spot on the carpet at the top of the stairs that is really hard and feels like dried paint. There are multiple cans of paint in the living room closet. The outlet in the floor in the living room is not screwed down and sticks up not only is a trip hazard but a shock hazard. The blinds for both balcony doors do not work properly. The upstairs screen door for the balcony has a large hole in it. The table for the balcony is broke and along with the chairs up there. There is a spot that was patched on the wall in the kitchen that was never painted over and is raw drywall mud. And a spot under the window that needs mud and paint. With that being said. Seabrook island makes up for all of the small things. The beach was perfect and not over crowded.

Overall house was a nice size for 5 people. In the process of being renovated. The two bathrooms were done very well. Beds were in good shape. Close to the beach. The only cons were the shower head in the master bath must be a water saver because the water pressure was very weak while being good in the rest of the house and the kitchen cookware could be stocked a little better. Wi-Fi speed is very good. Large HD TV in the living room

Location of the house was great. House was perfectly clean and sanitized and ready to go for us! Kitchen update was nice. House needs to be updated and could use some TLC. Ice maker wasn’t running. Second floor balcony- rusty chair broke as soon as we went to sit on it. All of the outside furniture could use updating. The screen on the second floor screen door had a tear in it and there were some stains in the rug throughout the apartment. The bathroom vanity is way to low off the ground. Lots of paint chips in the bedroom furniture. Nothing major but definitely needs some attention throughout the place. Easy fixes and our stars of this place would go way up!

Just What We Needed!
We were a group of 5 down for golf. We booked a 3-night stay then added a 4th night at the last minute with no problem. Our gate passes were easy to obtain via vouchers, and checking in was simple. I was apprehensive about the place given a couple of the prior reviews, but it was perfect for us. The villa is not very well maintained and is in dire need of updating, but the roof didn’t leak, the AC cooled nicely, the TV worked , and there were no bugs to be found like most homes on Seabrook. We went in with no expectations other than a place to sleep, and we were totally satisfied.
If you’re looking for 5-star luxury, this is probably not the place for you. But if you’re travelling to Seabrook for the amenities, the 3 ½ miles of uncrowded beaches, the lush maritime forestry, and a sense of being in a place where the least important place is where you sleep, then this villa is likely perfect. We are 5 fraternity brothers in our early 60s who have seen in our lifetimes far worse places. It’s small, but not cramped. As a former Seabrook Island property owner and current Club member, I would not hesitate to stay here again, even with my wife. I’m giving this place 5 stars because it’s the best bang for the buck on the island, and it provided all the essentials.

Very poor condition, dirty and many broken items and wasp infestion.
Unit was flithy, many broken items and wasp infestation. Pool code they gave us was wrong and front door code was changed and we were locked out of unit prior to leaving. Multie phone calls were made and staff stated it was not their problem.

There were several broken items, and queen bed was very uncomfortable. Twin beds were fine. Overall nice property, but I would take a walk through as the owner, and take out items that are broken. Example: Front glass door spring fell off when we opened the door.
