Fantastic value for money

Ashfield Guesthouse was exactly what we needed for our trip. Great location, exceptionally clean and a fabulous breakfast included to set you up for the day. The rooms are basic but have all you need for a great night's sleep. Wendy is an excellent host, she was so welcoming and friendly. Could not recommend highly enough.

Could do with a little modernising but extremely welcoming and homely.

I would recommend you to a friend

Wendy & Kyle were friendly and very welcoming also very helpful The bed was v. comfortable, the drawer & wardrobe space was OK for two or three nights The bathroom was not so good.

I found your website not friendly, giving the feeling that we were going to be received with reluctance.

I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend this to anybody as very good value.

The hosts Wendy and Kyle were very helpful and friendy. The room was comfortably and well furnished with everything you needed, complete with tea and coffee making facilities. The en-suite was beautifully clean and everything worked well.

There were rather a lot of stairs, which gets more difficult as one gets older.

Free access to come and go, a great breakfast, fantastic, welcoming friendly hosts in Wendy and Kyle. A wonderful quiet residential area but only a short walk to the promenade and the centre for pubs/restaurants and public transport.

Would stay here again

Friendliness of kyle. Like the way he interacted with all his guests and got us all talking. This would be especially great for solo guests.

All good. We liked e everything. Although we would have preferred to be nearer to the sea we could see it from our room. Lovely park in front of guesthouse

Such a lovely place run by lovely people!

I loved my stay at Ashfield. My partner and I loved the room. The big windows, the view from the windows, the king bed, the cosy bathroom, the delicious breakfast, the friendly owners... Wow! What a great place to stay! My partner and I booked this for a weekend to attend our friends' wedding. We enjoyed the place so much. We loved waking up to a delicious Full English for breakfast with fresh coffee and juice. There's a little park outside the property, and the main attractions of Douglas are just a 10-min walk. The staff were so lovely... we had a great time! Highly recommend it! Also, they had these mints at the entrance.. uff I became obsessed!

Fantastic family-run guesthouse

A fantastic stay at the Ashfield, from the welcoming and genuinely caring Wendy and Kyle. My room was a perfect size, with space to use away from the bed and bathroom, which was well-proportioned and cleaned. The breakfast was delicious. 10/10 fantastic guesthouse
