About this house rental
Very spacious vacation rental (3,100 sq ft) with room to spread out. Outdoor hot tub (which we keep running year round) with a view of the lake. Relax on the large deck while taking in the beautiful views of the lake. Private dock and several watercraft at your disposal (kayaks, canoes, row boat, paddle boat). Pool table, poker table, board games, puzzles, books, toys and movies and outdoor gas grill and charcoal grill, and fire pit at your disposal. Maximum of 12 people can stay in the house--includes children & babies and guests (even if they are only visiting for the day), that is all part of the 12. You also cannot "switch out" guests, for example, having some guests come during part of your stay--making the total 12, then leave and then other guests arrive, making the total 12. Located on a quiet cul de sac but not far from all of the amenities that the Big Bass Lake community has to offer. Linens are not included. You may bring your own sheets and towels or you may purchase the linen package for $230. It includes sheets, pillow cases, towels for the bathroom, kitchen, hot tub and pools. If you would like to purchase the linens package, you must inform the owner so it can be arranged with the linen service. We have loads of comforters, blankets and pillows for you to use at the house. Big Bass Lake community offers indoor and outdoor pools, beaches, fitness center, tennis courts, pickleball, playgrounds, clubhouse, small ski hill, ice skating and snow tubing...all in a pristine, family friendly environment. Other nearby attractions include Gouldsboro and Tobyhanna State Parks (boating, fishing, hiking and swimming), Kalahari and Great Wolf Lodge indoor waterparks, Montage Mountain, Camelback Mountain and Jack Frost/Big Boulder ski resorts and The Crossings Premium Outlets with spectacular shopping (and a Tesla Supercharger station). PURCHASE OF AMENITY PASSES IS REQUIRED to use the Community amenities. Daily pass: weekday $8/ weekend or holiday $10 per day/per person; Week pass (nonholiday) $30 / Holiday week $50/per week/per person. There is NO air conditioning. We have stand up and/or ceiling fans in every room.

The house was amazing with everything needed for a comfortable stay including Uggs comforters! Was beautiful in the wintertime. Can only imagine how nicw it is when the weather is warm. Kid-friendly and a few amenities to upgrade the experience. Owner was extremely accessible and communicative and patient. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

House with large deck overlooking lake. Quiet and beautiful setting. The community’s activities of ping pong, Pickleball, basketball, tennis and large pool were all top notch. Linen plan supplied more towels than one would ever use. No need to bring detergents or foil/baggies,coffee filters,etc. Home’s manager was most responsive to all questions. Enjoyed many hours of pool at house as well as kayaking. We were a family group ages 16 - 80. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the wonderful hot tub! FYI - we ventured out one day to Gouldsboro state park and found a gorgeous lake beach which is free.

Was a nice big house for 3 couples and 4 kids. Michele was very responsive to any questions or issues. Pond is pretty shallow but was perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding. Kids went swimming but adults did not. Screened in porch was a bonus as it rained every day.

"We booked this place for a group of 12 and everyone had a wonderful time at the house. Outside of a few windows that didn't work and some minor complaints about the internet down in the basement, there was very little wrong with this house. There were more than enough rooms to accommodate us, plenty of parking outside for the five cars we brought, and more than enough activities from board-games to fishing and kayaking to pass the time. The homeowner herself was very pleasant to deal with and responded promptly to any questions we had. Highly recommend!"

Our family had a wonderful stay at the lake house. We where 6 adults and two children consisting of 3 generations.
The layout of the home is wonderful and the area is perfect. Instructions and check in was a breeze.
Although no A/C we didn’t find it uncomfortable during the 85 degree days thanks to the tree cover and fans throughout the home.
Lake fishing and swimming was challenging off the dock due to the shallow water and vegetation.
The screen house was a major plus for night games played by the family.

We were very happy with the house and it amenities. There was enough room for four adults and six teenage boys to fit comfortably. Michele was very helpful and responded to any questions almost immediately.

My family of 12 decided on our first trip to the Poconos. We were coming in from different locations so communication was important and it was perfect with Michele. Check in was easy and went smooth, even for my son who drove in late from his military base.
The house was beautiful and well stocked with everything you could possibly need and think of. We all took turns cooking dinners so having a well stocked kitchen was great. They kayaks got lots of use by all of us and were a great addition. We were lucky enough to have baby animals all around the property this time of year. It was also quiet and felt very private with all of the trees. The kids on the trip really enjoyed the beach a couple of the hot days we had, and the location was perfect with it being so close.
Overall great trip full of adventures and memories. This beautiful home was our hub on our Poconos stay and it was perfect!

We have stayed at many VRBO's in the Poconos over the years, this house/property/location/community/host, checks all the boxes and might be the best overall experience we have had. Would go back and recommend in a heartbeat. You will not be disappointed!

Michele is the best. Her communication both before and during the stay was impeccable. The house easily fit all 9 of us for a friends getaway. There's so much to do both in the area and in the house that you won't be bored. I only wish we had decided to do a longer trip!

Our stay was wonderful. We relaxed, played board games, and watched movies all week with the beautiful lake view backdrop. The layout was conducive to communication between people in the kitchen, the living room, and the upstairs nook, which was great for our group to spread out. The property was well-organized, everything was fresh and clean, and the kitchen had all the implements we needed. I’ve already had requests that we come back for a future visit.

Our family had a great time staying here for the week after Christmas - the house was the perfect size for our group of 8 adults and 4 small kids, and the hot tub, the pool table, and the fire pit were all very popular! We had a lot of fun going snow tubing out on the slopes in the Poconos, and enjoyed sitting out on the porch overlooking the lake! Thanks for being such a splendid host, Michele!

What an absolutely perfect place to stay! Clean, comfortable, with the amenities and small touches you truly appreciate. The kayaks/canoes, fire pit/place, and hot tub were particular highlights. Our group was able to relax and recharge in comfort and safety.

My family and I stayed at Michele's rental over a picture perfect fall weekend in October. There was more than enough living space and sleeping arrangements for eight adults and two kids (ages 5 and 6) with a large fully stocked kitchen and ample parking space for five cars. The house was probably the cleanest rental that I have ever stayed in (we were commenting how the kitchen/bathrooms were cleaner than our own at homes!). It's a bit of a drive to get out of the resort complex, however still within a half hour of grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, hiking spots, wineries, and more. The set up was perfect for a combo of dining out and cooking/eating in. We even took advantage of one of the community events happening one afternoon and stopped in for some food and drinks and to watch a live cover band.
Despite all of that, the highlight for us was the small dock directly on the property from which we could fish and launch boats and kayaks on the lake (boats and fishing equipment provided with the house). Michele was super responsive to any communication and a pleasure to have as a host. Overall we loved being able to spend time as a family hanging around the fire pit outside and fireplace indoors and I've already had the group ask me if we can rent again next year!

Accommodations were outstanding. Kitchen had everything you needed. Lots of boats, so multiple people could go on lake at once. Sitting on deck any time of day was wonderful.
Great location. Not far to State parks for hiking. Good 5 mile hike around Big Bass Lake. Pool was great. Just not happy about the additional fee to use it.

Everything was provided for renters. There were seven different boats for our use, and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans. Furniture was nice and clean, and there were tvs with videos available. The ground floor was excellent for my husband and me. There is a bedroom, bath, and small living area with a large tv. There is also a room for the pool table which everyone enjoyed.
. We couldn't have asked for more. We have vacationed with our family for the last 25 years and this home was the best.

Everything & More!
The description of this property was so promising; relaxing spot, fully stocked, clean, lots to do, etc. Not only did it live up to its hype but it well exceeded it! There were 11 of us that stayed, ranging from ages 2-68. There was something for all of us! A nicely stocked Kitchen, hordes of fishing & boating equipment, hot tub, fire pit, books, games, movies. The house was very clean. We took advantage of the towels & linens package and it was so worth it. Michele was friendly and very prompt to answer any questions we had leading up to the stay as well as during. Though we hardly had any questions during our stay, everything is so well planned out, laid out, and labeled. We will be back!

Great property
We had a great time at this property. The house was clean and the owner very hospitable. The community facilities are a bit expensive to use, which was a little disappointing for a family of 5, with three little kids to have to pay $$$ to go swimming for a hour. Overall we had a great experience.

Long weekend getaway to celebrate my daughter’s 21st b
It was very easy to rent and check in/check out. The house had more than I expected in the form of toiletries and paper products. We all had fun and the view was beautiful. The only criticism was the hot tub did not get hot and the cover seemed to be falling apart.
