The overall stay was satisfactory. We had ample room, and the amenities were good. The property was in good shape, everything worked (except the Christmas three, I think the outlet was burned out, we could not turn it on, tried breakers, plugging and unplugging, but nada). The upstairs bed could be better, the mattress and pillows are worn. Same goes for the main couch, it has seen better days. With a little love, it would be a solid 10, as it is now it's a 7.5. Again, nothing significant, just upgrading a few things and keeping up with things like the Refrigeratior filter!

It met all our needs, plenty of space and loved that we each had our private space for sleeping and bathrooms. After a day at Oktoberfest it provided a nice retreat to relax after a busy day. Spent lots of time on the deck to enjoy our morning coffee and evening beverage while listening and watching for wildlife. The area was quiet and peaceful. So much better than staying in a hotel! Would definitely do this again.

We enjoyed staying at the eagle's nest. It was perfect size for our family. Our adult sons had plenty of room to play pool and enjoy the amenities as we explored Helen Ga. The property manager was available for our calls and we were able to speak with them promptly. There was a few hiccups. The home was ok clean. I learned a long time ago that my idea of clean and others idea of clean are two different things but I provided pictures for the staff to see. The biggest hurdle we had was the stairs. This home has had the floors redone. The stair treads included. The stair treads were not installed properly. The stair treads hang off the stairs a full 2 inches. My eldest son is 6'5" and has a size 15 foot. On our first day we noticed a cracked stair tread. I called it in right away to let them know. No other issues. On our last day my eldest son was walking up the stairs when the 2 inch over hang completely snapped off under his foot. This caused him to fall and break another tread at the 2 inch over hang. Thankfully he wasn't seriously injured. We called the damage in right away and I am waiting to hear from the property manager.
Overall we had a great time at the property and in the town. Hopefully the stair treads will be taken care of.

Well to start we were advised we were able to utilize our Golf cart as this is a golf cart community. As we arrived at the gate after travelling over 500 miles with a golf cart on the back of our vehicle. We arrived only to be told we could not bring our golf cart into the community. We were ordered to leave it parked outside of the gates or in town but we were not able to drive it through the front gate onto the property. The house was beautiful and clean and adequate for all of our needs. Our children noticed it was a bit cooler at night so we requested to find out if there were any addtional beddings or just extra blankets in the home. To our surprise we were told someone would call us back and we still to thus day are awaiting that call. The bed although comfy, squeaky. Enough so it would wake yoy from deep sleep if your partner rolled over. If you are asking for someone to clean up after themselves at least put a broom and mop in the house. We were told they would have supplies for washing laundry no supplies in the house. We were told also on numerous occasions by security that this is not the place you want to come and hang out with people as the neighbors frown upon any gatherings. The amenities were nice within the home but not enough to warrant us ever wanting to stay within the confines of Innsbrook again. All together not the best stay but made the best of it with our family. House was fine but the experience not as desired.

This property was ideal for 4 adults and 4 kids for our 2 night stay. The kids especially enjoyed the foosball and pool tables!

Our kids ranging from 7-12 really enjoyed the pool table and foosball downstairs. This gave Mom and Dad a nice break! This would be a great house for 2 families as well because of the layout with 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs. The hot-tub was also very convenient on the deck. It’s close to the Innsbruck golf course, Valhalla resort and the town of Helen, but still felt like you were out in the wilderness. Great stay overall!

We had a great time at Eagle's Nest! The inside of the house is very nice and clean. We eat out so I can't comment on the kitchen supplies. The beds were comfy and we enjoyed the pool table. I would suggest that the owner put up a privacy wall of some sort for the hot tub, there is a neighbor that can look right down on you sitting in there. Otherwise we were pleased with this home.

Took our 14yr old to our family's happy place
We frequent Helen every other month for small weekend or weekly get aways. Our son got to pick the rental this time since he was the birthday boy. He chose this particular house for the basement with the pool table, and the other game tables, along with his own area for gaming on the tv. My mother in law also enjoyed the basement area too, was easy access to the outside for her.
Beautiful property tucked on a very quite cul-de-sac. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub & privacy upstairs. We will definitely stay again!
The only changes we would make is to have a coffee set up for the kuerig with k-cups included. It was the first of many cabins we've rented that didn't have that. My mother in law suggested cups, plates, silver etc downstairs she was not able to make it up the stairs so we stocked some downstairs for her from the upstairs.
We tried quite a few new restaurants this time and took our son golfing at the Innsbruck course, to play putt putt, and the indoor go-karts. It was very cold that weekend.

The place sits in the mountains of Northern Georgia. If you like seclusion, it's for you. The cabin has entertainment for a family. Very clean.

Home was very nice with all of the amenities. Gate guard was extremely nice and helped us all to navigate into the correct gate. Although the weather was terrible, we enjoyed our stay and all of the Helen attractions.

The property is well maintained and sits in a gated community. The property itself is on a cul-de-sac so it was mostly a private setting. Since the gated community does not allow on street parking, the ample driveway was a huge bonus! The check in and check out process is straight forward and painless. I would recommend this property to others and will rent again for Oktoberfest if it's available!

The rental process was smooth, I like that they sent an email with all the check-in/check-out instructions. The property was spacious for 2 adults and 2 children. We enjoyed the drive back and forth into Helen which was 10 minutes away. We plan to come back! Just need instructions on using the thermostat, we were freezing the first night.

The rental property management staff immediately responded to my VRBO message and phone call walking me through the arrival process. the manager and they probably called me back walking me through the process and we’re kind enough to do so even though I missed the email that was sent five days prior. Every person were always helpful, kind, and accommodating.
Appreciated the complimentary detergent provided for the washer and dryer. The bathrooms and bedrooms were extremely clean. Plenty of bath towels / washrags for all four bathrooms.

Lots of room and very accommodating!
Easy to get in, but hard to get in touch with the property manager via text.. Received automated texts and was told to respond there but never received responses to my questions. All in all, a great property though and would highly recommend!

Eagle’s Nest was a great place to stay for our large family. Everyone had their own bedrooms and there were plenty of bathrooms. The floor plan is spacious making you not feel like you are on top of each other. We had fun playing pool, foosball, putting puzzles together, playing card games and relaxing in the hot tub. Would highly recommend property for larger families looking for a quiet getaway.

Eagle’s Nest was a great place to stay for our large family. Everyone had their own bedrooms and there were plenty of bathrooms. We went as a family get-a-way. Plenty of room for everyone. It was quiet and peaceful. We felt very relaxed. With it being in a gated community we felt safe. Fun games and hot tub was nice. We will definitely return. Wonderful all around.

This is a nice cabin home in a gated neighborhood. Fair warning the separate lease agreement is the lengthiest I’ve ever seen so just grab a coffee and have a seat. It’s a very particular neighborhood. The instructions upon check in basically give you a curfew to check in through the gate so late arrivals might be tough as they have a noise restriction including unloading late. But don’t let all that scare you off. Really it wasn’t an issue for us and the night gate guard said he was there past the listed curfew anyway.
The house was nice. Pics are accurate and as described. We had a water leak the first night from the top floor into the ceiling of the bottom floor but they came out the next day and fixed it. The dishwasher we had trouble with getting started and it was coming out of its cubby every time you opened it….but that’s all really random or minor stuff that I wouldn’t expect to happen again or really wasn’t the end of the world.
Overall this is a very nice house in a very nice nieghborhood. It’s about 10 min drive to Helen. This house looked more private than some. It’s in a culdesac. I would rent again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend if it fits your family.

Instead of gifts this year we decided on a beautiful 2 day family getaway. It could not have been a nicer cozier home with plenty of room for all. Absolutely loved our time there.

Great for a family vacation
Great house for a vacation in Helen. The house is just what you see in the pictures. We enjoyed the pool and the soccer table. Great communication with manager/owner of the house. I would recommend to add more blankets to the house. We only found 2. Other than that we highly recommend this house. We were 6 adults and 2 kinds under 4.
