About this cottage rental
Nestled in Hamlin Lake, this attractive cottage for £147 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Walking distance to Hamlin Lake's South Bayou Park and boat launch.as well as boat rentals at Waterside Resort. Long, flat driveway for parking your own boat. Plenty of entertainment fun both inside and outside this cottage Enjoy a quiet night looking at the stars and keeping warm around the fire pit. Plenty of room (1/2 acre) to toss around a football or play with a frisbee. Portable mini-golf mats/ putters and balls provided. Private backyard backs up to a quiet forest. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Nice large fire pit that doubles as a grill. But don't worry, there is a charcoal grill available too. Free firewood to keep the firepit going all night long. Or head into the rec room to shoot pool, or throw a few darts. Play some oldies music on the record player or use your phone's Bluetooth. Extra fridge in rec room to keep all your beverages cold and handy. Note: no A/C or heat in the garage rec room, but we do have a couple of fans for airflow. Walking distance (about 2 blocks) to South Bayou park where you can picnic, fish or launch your boat. Boat rentals across the street from the park. Great location, less than a 10 minute drive to downtown or to the State Park. Lake Michigan is only a 5 minute drive away. Very quiet lake resort neighborhood. Great location. Main bedroom features a queen bed and a separate twin XL. The spare bedroom features a bunk with a queen on the bottom and a twin XL on top. Twin XLs are 6 inches longer than a standard twin and can accommodate most teens or adults (up to 165 pounds on top bunk). A security doorbell has been installed and captures activity in the driveway. There are no other surveillance cameras on the property.

We enjoyed our short stay with clean wk feeding two bedroom two bathroom home. Cute fire pit rec room with record player snd pool table. Enjoyed the stocked kitchen. Was able to cook and make waffles in the morning mix was supplied! How thoughtful of our host. Loved the stat just blocks from Hamlin Jake where we rented a boat to fish. So enjoyed hated to leave. Thank you again ❤️😃

The owner has several games in the garage. My kids had a blast with the putt putt, wiffle ball and the other games. The property is minutes away from town, but you have the peace and quiet of being away from town. Perfect place for a relaxing get away.

We enjoyed the cottage. The neighborhood is quiet. Our family enjoyed the game room. We did need to fix the master bathroom door and shower door as both were off the tracks. I would also have the cleaning service clean the window sills.

Very homey. We hadn't been back home for 2 years. It was like being back in the house we used to own. Got to visit with friends and relatives. We visited the Luring ton State Park four times. The beaches are fantastic.

This house was perfect for our family of 6. We brought our small boat and there was plenty room to park. It was conveniently located near the boat launch. My teenagers walked down to the bayou to fish on their own frequently.

We had a wonderful time at this tidy little cottage in Ludington. Our family enjoyed the rec room and fire pit very much. We spent most days off doing things (State Park, Stearns Park beach, museums, etc.) and it was nice to come "home" to this quiet neighborhood and relax together. The home was very clean upon arrival, and met our expectations. Some nice amenities included.

We had such a fantastic time at this beautiful cottage. It was very clean and had some necessities that I hadn’t thought to bring. It was halfway between Ludington State Park and downtown Ludington. We thought the location was great. The garage was made into a recreation room which we used to daily. We definitely would stay here again!

Only issue was the dressers smelled strongly of mildew or something like that. These need to be replaced. Play area in garage also really moldy smelling but easier to tolerate in such an area plus in the nice weather could open the large garage door. However could not keep communicating kitchen door open because of odor. Would certainly rent here again but would hope these little issues could be remedied beforehand. Thanks!

Amazing place to stay!
This is one of the best vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed in!! It is so clean and well stocked, it’s just like being at home! The game room is so fun for the family! We just have a blast and love it here! We will be back next year!!

My two large sons along with my petite niece and I stayed here for 3 days easily. We were a short drive from beaches and trails. Kitchen was stocked well enough that I felt I may have over packed. Very clean, very well laid out. Quiet neighborhood. We will definetly stay here again!
