The living room is the ideal place to unwind comfortably with inviting leather couches, a gas fireplace, and a flatscreen Smart TV. Off of the living room, there's a reading nook with a rotating collection of books for guests to enjoy and access to the deck where you can grill and enjoy views of Kearsarge North. The lower level of this retreat offers a Ping-Pong table, perfect for friendly matches with your friends. What's nearby: One and a half miles away is downtown North Conway where restaurants and convenience stores abound. The nearby Schouler Park is a great place to take the kids; it features a train station, the popular Conway Scenic Railroad, a large playground, a splash pad, and plenty of amenities that will make your visit a memorable time. The popular Cranmore Mountain Resort offers year-round fun no matter your age or if you're into winter sports or summer adventures. Located only two and a half miles away, you're in for a good time; it has 57 trails and glades for skiing, 10 lanes of tubing, the Giant Swing, a mountain coaster, and the Soaring Eagle zipline in winter. I will NEVER EVER rent a Vacasa-run property again. I should have done my due diligence in researching the company before renting from them. The number of one-star reviews on Yelp alone would have made me go with another property. The house itself was in a good location and semi-clean. My boys and my mother sneezed and had runny noses anytime they were in the house (outside the house, they were all 100% fine). The layers of dust was appalling and the downstairs had a strange musty smell. The kitchen was well-appointed and well-stocked and the view was lovely, however, be forewarned....whomever took the photos did an excellent job of making the place and rooms look larger than they are. The house can sleep 8 but there is only seating for 6 at the dining room table and the living room. The bathroom upstairs is a Jack and Jill and very very tiny. It is difficult for one person to navigate that bathroom. Vacasa itself is a terrible rental company. There were so many problems and nothing was addressed quickly. You can't get through to them on the phone and text message is the only option. The answers are very autogenerated and generic with no resolution. Every answer was a run-around. There was blood on the comforter and two blankets, they argued about plowing the driveway even though I screenshot & sent them their own instructions that read it should be plowed by them. Their answer, the city would do it. What city plows private driveways? Terrible rental company.

This house is located in a picture postcard setting, you have Cathedral Ledge in the front yard and a beautiful farm in the backyard, surrounded by other natural treasures. You are close to hiking and close to shopping. Perfect for our group.

The home is in a great location to see all that the N Conway area has to offer. The home has a fully supplied kitchen so you can enjoy homemade meals. The views from the back deck are magnificent.

Merriview Mountain Haven
North Conway, NH was a great place to stay for our girls weekend. Well situated to town and some hikes. House was very well appointed, extremely clean and well stocked with amenities. We will definitely be back!

When we pulled into the driveway of Merriview Mountain Haven I was unimpressed. The outside of this rental has no curb appeal and the wraparound porch and deck need to be replaced, however, it is in a great location. When you enter the home, it is a different story. It is completely updated and nicely furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you could possibly need to prepare any meal. It was also very clean. I feel the only downside is the size of the bathrooms. Although both are updated, they are very small. This house would be a good choice for a family vacation.

We stayed here for a 3 day work trip. Although we were not at the home often during the day, it was nice to come back to. It was extremely clean, updated and just as the add stated. I would consider staying here again in the future with my family to take advantage of the local hiking and dining options.

This was a nice house, kitchen was fine, washer and dryer were fine. Rooms were nice and bedding comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. However when we arrived, there were linens left unwashed in the washer. There was a pile of blankets, comforters, plastic covers, etc., in the main floor bedroom closet. There was also a lot of clutter in the playroom closet. This needs to be straightened up and stored in a place where it won’t be in the way of guests. Also there was a number to call if we needed a trash pick up. The person on the phone couldn’t give us any information about where to leave the trash to be picked up and there were specific instructions not to leave it in the outside bin, so we just put it in the laundry room until we left. These were fairly minor issues but I did want ti mention them so the owner can correct these. The house was comfortable and the location perfect for everything we wanted to do.

The cleanliness and location were great. The house was well kept and outfitted, and was a perfect fit for our family of 6. However, at check in, the codes provided did not work and the phone number listed was “experiencing heavy wait times” and kept disconnecting us. We eventually got in using a text option which was much more responsive. Due to “frequent bear activity” there is no permitted use of outdoor trash cans. So you have to keep all of the garbage in the house for the entirety of your stay. They claim you can call for pick up if needed during the stay, but at first they told us they wouldn’t come, then said they’d come “between 10 am and 4pm” one day, meaning we would have to sit home a day of our trip to wait. On the last evening of our stay, we had some family staying in the area come to the house for a 2 hour dinner. During that time we received texts and a phone call from Vacasa telling us they were registering too many people at the house (they gave us a headcount they took) and that NO guests are allowed for ANY period of time. We felt watched and that our privacy had been violated, especially when they did not want to tell us how they knew that another family had come over. It ruined the evening and was a poor ending to our stay. There was no loud music, it was not a party situation, and - for what we paid - skipping a meal out to eat at “home” with friends/family shouldn’t be an issue. Overall, the house itself was great, but we weren’t pleased/impressed with Vacasa.

My family and I spent 6 days skiing in NH and had a wonderful time. The kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of room for the kids to spread out. The location is perfect for skiing, shopping, or dining out. It it was a wonderful house and my family and I plan on returning!

We enjoyed the kitchen immensely. The owner is very thoughtful with the items in the kitchen. The washer and dryer is nice. However, both bathrooms are the size of a postage stamps (and I do understand that space comes at a premium)...but we were sharing bathrooms with individuals that weren't related to us. The king size bed was not the most comfortable mattress either...but it wasn't terrible. This house has great bones. The natural wood is beautiful, and there seems to be so much potential here for something truly spectacular. It just needs some TLC. The carpet definitely needs to be replaced. The basement bedroom is cool, and will give you extra space, but it only has a toilet and sink downstairs...no shower. The ping pong table is fun. Overall, the house is nice, and we had a good time.

We had a pleasant stay here, even though there was power outage one night. Vacasa support line was very helpful while we waited for the power to be restored. There is a hike very nearby which we enjoyed and the place is closer to all shops and Conway town yet secluded enough to enjoy the time away from craziness.

Wonderful place true to description
We had a pleasant stay here, even though there was power outage one night. Vacasa support line was very helpful while we waited for the power to be restored. There is a hike very nearby which we enjoyed and the place is closer to all shops and Conway town yet secluded enough to enjoy the time away from craziness.

The fault lies with the management group. Over three days time, we were unable to cook and properly bath. We were unable to leave the house for very long because of the pointless effort that we had to make waiting for phone calls from this management group and service people that failed to solve the problem. We made nine phone calls over this time and left the property early after several days because of this. There still was no hot water etc..when we departed. We spoke with Bob on the phone and he was not notified about this situation until the night before we left and we had to ask the management group to do this and please have him call us. We expect to be fully refunded by this management group and told Bob that this is the right thing to do even if he has to refund us and pursue the management group for reconciliation.

We had a wonderful vacation. The house was in a great location for all the activities that interested us. The house was roomy. The kitchen was spacious and easy to cook in, but could have used a little more cookware. The hosts were easy to get a hold of and promptly responded to our needs.

The house was just the right size for 8 of us there. The proximity to town is great. Echo lake is almost a walk away and is beautiful. Everything we wanted and a little more with the things to do that are so close. Thank you!

Went on some amazing hikes got some great food and got to swim in the park. Close to everything and a gray house. Wish it was a pool table instead of a ping pong table is the only complaint! Lol but it isn’t really a complain. We had a great time and would come again.
