Our family enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, perfect location to OSU and downtown Corvallis. Property was clean, quaint and the property manager, Debi communicated timely. We’ll definitely choose Verna again for a family gathering!!

We stayed here for OSU move in weekend and could not have been more pleased with the property and the location. It’s just a few blocks from downtown Corvallis and a few blocks to campus, so completely walkable. The house itself is incredibly charming and comfortable, it had everything we needed. We would stay here again. One note is that there are students living all around so it can get noisy this close to campus, earplugs are a good idea if you’re a light sleeper.

This gorgeous, light-filled craftsman is such a perfect place to relax and feel at home! The house has so many beautiful, historical touches but is also very comfortable and inviting. We really loved the big breezy porch, an ideal spot for enjoying peaceful summer nights. Also enjoyed reading about the history of the place and how truly loved this home has been over the years. Beautiful yard, comfortable beds, excellent communication from the host! Would absolutely love to stay here again!

I love the front porch. Every evening we would sit and talk. It was a great place to unwind. The beds were comfortable. We did not do too much cooking, but I did appreciate the coffee maker and other kitchen equipment. The house is in town and it is easy to walk to all the wonderful restaurants.

This home was so filthy that we would not have stayed other than the hassle of getting a refund. Compared to immaculate VRBO properties at a lower price, this house is also way over-priced. I took15 photos of some of the worse areas, but apparently cannot upload them here, so will describe: All surfaces other than countertops had a year or two's worth of grime on them. Hair and dirt in bedroom corners, baseboards brown with accumulated dirt that wipes off with damp rag, ceiling fan edges covered in thick dust, "clean" bedding had someone's hair in it (I have alopecia... zero hair... so no way it could be mine).  Kitchen foul... someone else's food left in refrigerator and pantry. Minimal cookware compared to other VRBOs. Toaster oven had aluminum foil with food on it on top of filthy scorched pan, coffee maker carafe had grounds in it, top of microwave and other surfaces gross. No dishwasher, so just had to trust that silverware and dishes had been washed in a sanitary manner.  No face towels. One hand towel per bathroom, and a couple of dish towels in the kitchen. Kitchen shelves and drawers need painting and repair.  Basement "bedroom" smelled really musty.... and was not finished... a sheet hanging from exposed floor joists above bed for the listing photo... rest of basement just raw joists, raw concrete, and several unsealed holes to the outside for rodents to enter. No way would we sleep down there.  [Maxed out on review length - although more to say]

Dear VRBO community, This house is a dream home that I wish were mine! We spent a lot of time by the fireplace in the living room. The amount of windows and therefore light coming into each room is wonderful! The location in Corvallis is blocks from Oregon State and a delightful neighborhood to wander around in. This home was the perfect place for my husband and two college-aged sons. We loved it completely. Perfectly restored in a nice quiet neighborhood and walking distance to downtown. We cooked all of our meals at the house, even a prime rib! Mahalo nui loa and we hope to stay again.

We celebrated Thanksgiving with our family. The house was perfect! We had everything we needed and it was welcoming, warm and cozy. Could not ask for a better location as we were easily able to walk to campus for the big game and downtown. We will be back!

We loved loved loved this house. The care that has been put into restoring this 100+ year old house is evident and we found ourselves in awe. We loved how close we were to downtown and how incredibly well stocked the kitchen, bedrooms, and living spaces were. We really enjoyed it there.

Our family of four really enjoyed the character of Verna, and the location is convenient to OSU and downtown. There are relaxing spaces inside and out (the porch is fantastic) and the house is charming and comfortable. The property manager was helpful without being intrusive. It was a great experience and we'll definitely check to see if this house is available the next time we're in town.

This is my second time at this house. The location is walking distance to downtown and the university and the grocery store. It’s a short drive to some beautiful wineries. The house has a lot of character and I really liked just hanging out on the porch. Don’t change anything!

The check in process was seamless, communication was wonderful, the house was well stocked with anything we may have needed or forgotten. The downstairs allowed for even more space than we realized, private backyard was a huge bonus, the location was FABULOUS and the house was adorable! We were all in love with it! 10/10 would recommend.

This rental was really great. Walking distance to both campus and downtown. Quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and comfortable with everything you will need for your stay (including condiment staples, shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent, etc). We cooked there a couple nights and ate out a few nights. Great coffee place 5 blocks up the street (there is a coffee machine and ground coffee in the rental, but I enjoyed the walk each morning). Highly recommended and will definitely stay there again when we next visit Corvallis.
