A secluded cabin surrounded by 21 acres of beautiful dense trees and the tranquil sounds of nature. Tucked away on a private road. Stay in and relax or go and enjoy all that this area has to offer. It is a haven for a couples getaway and provides the quietness needed to escape the demands of a busy life. Just minutes away from Brow Park & downtown Mentone. *Recent complete transformation to freshen up the space inside & out. ALL NEW furniture, WiFi, lighting, bedding, linens and accessories., The space Inside, you’ll find a full, well equipped kitchen complete with a table for four and counter top seating. Gather together and unwind by the stone gas fireplace while you enjoy the large Smart TV in the living area. Outside you can enjoy the huge wrap around porch, comfy swinging bed, fire up the gas grill or the charcoal grill for a cookout and enjoy dinner under the stars at the outdoor table, cozy up around the large fire pit or just relax in the hot tub and watch for visiting wildlife in the surrounding forest. Also feel free to take a stroll through the lush woods and relax by the creek that runs through our property. ***The home does have Satellite based internet and Dish TV. Pls keep in mind both can be affected by inclement weather, unfortunately Mentone is not known for their services when it comes to internet, cellular or satellite. AT&T is one of the only cellular providers that you will have consistent service on the mountain. So if you are ready to disconnect and unwind Mentone will definitely help you achieve that goal ;)

Our trip was absolute amazing!! We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Creek Wood will definitely be our home away from home in the future!! Nicci was so easy to get in touch with and awesome to work with on our booking. It was definitely a great week of relaxing and enjoyment for our family.

The cabin and surrounding area was absolutely beautiful! Super clean! We had some issues with check in, but no fault of the owner (it was an issue with VRBO). But the owner called me directly and took care of everything! We had a great family weekend ❤️

Five lifelong friends gathered to enjoy a wonderful weekend in this beautiful cabin! The property is so lovely and private, and peaceful! Every amenity we could hope for was provided, and we had a wonderful time.

We had a peaceful, wonderful stay!! Loved the large swing on the front porch. Was able to nap and watch the rain while cuddled under blankets. It was a relaxing time.

The Cabin was a perfect stay for our guys weekend. Nicci(owner) was super friendly and gave us all the inside knowledge on where to eat. We caught brunch at Wildflower Cafe (get there when they open unless you want to chill out for a long time) and then elevation for dinner (absolutely amazing). We saw a mama Deer and her “Bambi” walking through the woods near the cabin. We hopped in the hot tub which was very well maintained. The couches were INSANELY comfortable! We also made good use of the porch swing bed to enjoy the failing rain, fresh air, and sounds of the forest. Highly recommend it to others!

The house had a great view and was great to wake up to every morning. The owner even included a jar with marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers to make s’mores over the fire. The firewood was included. We enjoyed the hot tub on the deck a few nights. It was down a secluded road and I couldn’t believe how quiet it was out there. We had a really great week of relaxing out there.

This beautiful house, on a beautiful property, is in such a great location. Mentone is great location for so many day trips. We visited Cathedral Cavernes, drove atop Indian River Canyon, swam at the Hippie Hole and Lake Guntersville, and hiked in DeSoto State Park. In the afternoons we returned to the house and relaxed. The grandchildren played outside each day. We even cooked our supper in the firepit three seperate evenings! There is a creek nearby that we were able to walk to each day. Nicci and Chad were easy to commincate with and their house was very well stocked. If you are looking for a place to get away from the fast pace of life, this is definatly the place to be!

The cabin and it's host were beyond compare. Our stay was a well needed long weekend away. If you want away from the hustle and bustle thus is the place. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

The house looked great on the listing and was even better in person. It was very clean, stocked with all the amenities we needed and everything seemed new. The location was great also. The host, Nicci, was very responsive and helpful. We had no problems at all. I would highly recommend this house! We were traveling with our 3 kids and it was the perfect house for us.

Our stay could not have been better. Even in the middle of the summer, the weather was wonderful due to the location. Felt far enough away from things but still not a far drive for some fun. Everything was super easy during check-in, the stay, and checking out. Definitely recommend for a quiet getaway!

This was the perfect property for a restful and rejuvenating girls' weekend. We had everything we needed. The cabin was incredibly clean and well appointed. The small town of Mentone was very cute, and we enjoyed our moderate hike down to DeSoto Falls. Mentone Market's chicken salad is a must. We can't wait to book this gorgeous cabin in the woods again, and pick up right where we left off laughing and relaxing on the porch swing.
