This is our second visit to this quiet scenic property.
We hosted a Christmas luncheon for a few friends who come from various locations. Everything was as before except now they have added a dishwasher which made clean up a breeze. Our Frenchie, Remi loves that she can look out the windows since they reach to the floor. It was close to New Milford so we could pick up a few incidentals on Christmas Eve. The house is very clean and decor tasteful. A wonderful time was had my all.

The house was full of lovely light and the setting was beautiful by a bubbling stream and expansive lawn, plantings and trees. Lots of great areas to explore nearby including Storm King art center. Hosts were hospitable, communication great, and we hope to return when we visit the area. Thank you!

We (me and the dog) had an awesome stay at the property. The views from the window were idyllic country scenes and the dog loved running around the property. We explored the area by day and at night we listened to music on the phonograph or caught up on the happenings in the world prior to having a very peaceful and quite sleep. The views in Litchfield County are some of the best!

The house was very nice, clean, and comfortable. Lots of room both inside and out. The kids had fun playing outside. The creek was cool. The air conditioning is neat in that each room has its own unit and can have a different temp setting. It did well cooling the house. Beds were comfortable. Decorations were neat. Lots of character. We would stay there again.

Great property, better than expected. Only issue was that the property is in a dead cell zone, so we had to drive around to be able to get to a cell area since we didn’t print out the instructions.

We stayed here to be close to a family event in Sherman. Very comfortable and easy. Beds comfortable; cottage had everything we needed. This would be wonderful in spring and summer!

Traveled here to host a Christmas Brunch closer to friends. The property was more spacious than the pictures. The rooms were nicely decorated and the kitchen was well equipped except no dishwasher. This wasn’t a problem since I was using disposable party ware for easy clean up. The views from the large windows was peaceful. The brook running through the property was a nice addition. My well behaved dog loved walking about the wooded area. It was a short drive to New Milford which had a great market and anything you might need. It was only a short stay but a wonderful one. A great Christmas was had by all.

Very comfortably furnished house. Plenty of room for everyone. 15-20 drive to larger towns. We were there to watch our sons play at Kent School. It was an easy drive and beautiful outdoor setting. They have quite a few outdoor activities set up around the property. Unfortunately we didn’t get the time to use any of them. The beds are very comfortable which is huge on my list. Supplies are well stocked. We enjoyed are stay and will stay again when we go to his school.

My family and I had a great time here. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. All the bedrooms were very comfortable. The property itself is private and quiet. My kids loved playing in the stream in the backyard. We would definitely come back here again.

We were meeting friends for a quiet weekend away and this was the perfect place! We had a big group – two couples + 4 kids (ranging from an 8 month old to 7 year old) and it was a great location for us. There were loads of toys to play with, a variety of sleeping options (incl. pack and play and toddler air mattress), and everything we needed to feel at home (stuff to cook with, make coffee, etc.). The grounds were beautiful and we had tons of fun exploring the property, using the hammock, etc. The host was communicative and accommodating, and shared a very helpful guide they created to the area.
Just be warned: No cell service, so download the house guide in advance so you can make sure to find the property and let yourself in! And download any GPS directions via wifi before leaving the property.

Lovely Respite
We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were very communicative and accommodating. The cottage is open and airy; clean and comfortable. My children loved the bunk beds and the toys. The nets for "fishing" in the creek were a also huge hit. Perfect place to relax and recharge
Highly recommend.
