We had a wonderful stay at Carrie's place in West Eugene. The propane fireplaces are cozy and go well with the artistic furniture and decorations. Easy walking distance to coffee and food. Thank you Carrie!

This house was built with care n the 1890s. The property is tucked away from the street and full of charming details, including several mature house plants. It is clear a lot of thought was put into the decor of this home.

My daughter and I hated to leave. It’s lovely in every sense of the word. Great location and above and beyond little touches that made the sweet home so welcoming. Carrie is amazing. I would vacation in her property always if it was available.

Great location can walk to U of O campus in 30 minutes and in a quiet, shaded old neighborhood. Beautifully maintained property with all the amenities you would need and more.

Opening the door to this charming house, we knew that we were going to enjoy our stay. The furnishings are comfortable and attractive. There was a bottle of wine for us to enjoy, as well as bananas and oatmeal packets for us to have a little breakfast in the morning. One of my favorite places was the porch swing, where I enjoyed reading and late afternoon breezes. Neighborhood was quiet, as well as convenient to places we wanted to visit. Great stay overall.

This updated 1890's house is very comfortable and is within easy walking distance of river trails and downtown, as well as neighborhood coffee shops, restaurants and local grocery stores . It exudes Eugene charm.
The porch and yard are great places to hang out and relax.

Perfectly perfect in everyway. VRBO description matched exactly what we experienced. Charming vintage home in the heart of Eugene. The extra touches, flowers and wine were very comforting. Thank you for a great stay.

One of the most charming and comfortable rentals we’ve ever stayed at! It’s one of a kind. The fresh flowers and French Fizz were amazing touches that we will never forget! We were sad to leave after a short 2 days. We can’t wait to come back and stay longer!

Carrie, thought of everything. The house was so tastefully charming. Fresh cut flowers were in every room. The yard is beautiful with a porch swing we used in the evening. Her recommendations for morning coffee were perfect. We would live here year round if possible.
Hands down a fab few days.

My family of 4 came to check out the University of Oregon for my high school daughter. Carrie made us feel very welcome with extra amenities like snacks and a bottle of wine. Lots of thoughtful touches in this home. It is an old home but feels old in a good way, with modern updates but cozy charm. Easy walking distance to good restaurants. It rained every day we were there so we didn't get a chance to enjoy the yard and porch but would be an added bonus on nice days. Parking in front of the house was easy. We will definitely be back!

This cute house had everything and more. From soft cozy towels in the bathroom to magazine worthy beds - everything was perfect. Carrie was quick to respond and even offered us a cheese tray (which was delicious) when she found out we were coming in late. There were so many thoughtful touches. The property itself was close to the farmers market and a cute little coffee shop/bakery. It was fenced in and felt very safe and secluded! I hope to enjoy this house again!

The house was perfect for my eldest son and I, visiting my other son for a pre-Thanksgiving celebration. Carrie was a gracious host, even dropping off provisions when she learned that our flight was delayed and my son was on crutches. The wine wasn’t a bad touch either! The house is charming and a lovely and quiet place to relax in the heart of it all. We will be back for sure!

This is one of my favorite properties I have stayed in in Eugene (and I have stayed in many). The house had so much charm and the attention to detail. The design and decor was so charming and the attention to detail such as nice linens, quality bath and kitchen products and touches such as books, yoga mats and a welcome bottle of wine made the stay great! The home felt safe and private and it was easy to get around town. Thank you!

We stayed here while visiting Eugene to drop off our oldest son for his first year of college. The location was perfect, close to downtown and campus. The house was very comfortable. It was a wonderful place to stay, there was plenty of space for us, including some wonderful outside spaces., like the front porch and fire pit. The place was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. There was even a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge for us when we arrived. The home was very comfortable, and was a calm oasis in the busy city. Carrie our host was excellent to work with, as well, kindly accommodating adjustments to our reservation as the date got closer and our son was assigned his move in date/time.for his dorm. I know we will be visiting Eugene plenty over the next 4 years, and this will be our first choice for lodging when we do!

This property was clean, well-maintained, and adorable. So much character with this vintage home. Carrie was such a helpful hostess and offered support with food and wine at the property after a long travel day. We had a wonderful and memorable stay.

Great place in a great location!
My buddy and I stayed here for the World T&F Championships. Perfect for two dudes hanging out in Eugene going to a track meet. Lots of food options in walking distance. Hayward Field was a 2M walk each way but we made it work. The beds were comfy and the shower was great. The house was very relaxing with a great front porch. I would definitely recomend staying here!

A Walk In The Park
To be honest, I was a bit reluctant to book a rental that had no reviews. The pictures were very tempting, but it's always nice to know what previous guests thought of the place. I'm glad we took the chance because the house was a great choice. We were in town to visit family, so the central location was very convenient. It was so nice to be a 1/2 block from Monroe Park and close to the sandwich shop, a bakery, etc. I especially enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, admiring the lovely old houses, the big trees, and the colorful gardens. The house feels plenty spacious, as the rooms are fairly large. The overall ambiance is funky/quirky/quaint but in a way that is quite charming and comfortable. We appreciated having a laundry room where we could confine our little dog when we went out. She's not destructive, but she doesn't need to think she has the run of the place, either. The host had thoughtfully provided pet bowls, a nice, soft pet bed, toys, potty bags, and treats. Thank you! I spent a lot of time out running around with my daughter and granddaughter, but my husband enjoyed relaxing on the swing on the porch. The yard is very pretty and gives a sense of privacy. The house is well-equipped, and there were all sorts of nice touches: like fresh flowers, shampoo, lotion, and a very good bottle of wine. The host was extremely concerned with our comfort and kept in touch. The only suggestions I could offer would be to add a toaster. If there is one there, I couldn't find it. Just a small, inexpensive (think thrift store) one would do. And maybe a wire whisk and a rubber spatula (the kind you scrape bowls with). I understand the issues with the old windows, but it would be nice to have a screen on just one window or door so that it could be opened for fresh air without letting in bugs. My husband says an alternative would be a fly swatter. All in all, we were extremely pleased. Our granddaughter is getting married in Eugene on July 8 of next year. We're already thinking this house would be an ideal rental for us when we're there for the BIG DAY. Could you pencil us in? Thank you so much for making our visit so pleasant.
