I knew it was going to be a great stay when the person who checked me in proved to be proactive and helpful by making sure I was on a higher floor after noticing I was travelling alone. She also provided excellent suggestions for dinner that night! My room was perfect, no complaints at all there, other than I think the hotel is near a train track so I could hear that at night. But nothing they can do about that! Breakfast was good, their gym's treadmill was functioning. Would 100% stay here again.

The hotel was conveniently located except for the strange entrance from the road. Our stay was great only issues were a smelly refrigerator and them emptying the trash but leaving dirty linens (small child wet the bed) in the room one day. I just brought them
down to the front desk and they replaced plus gave us extra towels.

Good hotel very close to Michigan State. Excellent if you are attending a sports event - it is a short walk from all athletic facilities and you don't have to worry about parking for the game,

Have not yet been sent my email receipt for my stay. Also, did not like how the heat worked in the room.

I haven’t been in a hotel room of this quality in years! Clean, neat, and very modern, exceptionally done!

I liked the room very much. One area that I think the hotel needs to improvement, though, is the heating system. Maybe I should have asked for help but here was the problem: I stayed in January, and I'd set a room temperature of let's say 70. Warm air would blow out but after a point cold air would blow out. I don't know whether the room passed the temperature I set it at and then attempted to bring it back down, but this was not fun. The air blows right across the bed and so I ended up piling three of your pillows on top of each other, next to me, to fend off the cold breeze which happened intermittently all night. I was there for three nights. Even during the day, though, I had to close the sliding windows by the desk to not be cold. Has anyone else been bothered by this? I should have asked, but maybe instructions by the heat/air conditioning monitor by the door could have helped?

Loved my room - very well laid out and spacious, loved the sitting area and desk. Breakfast was full of delicious choices.
I was disappointed that there was no hot tub but that was my fault for not checking on that.

Large room, well appointed. The lighting was designed well (normally I find hotel rooms dark in spots)
Nice desk area

Our family loved our stay at SpringHill Suites. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was GREAT. The staff were very kind and helpful.
The pool is tiny and was freezing... but the kids were still happy with it. The only thing we didn't really love about the room was that the opaque bathroom door lets a lot of light through, so that made things a little more difficult traveling with small children, because they would wake up from the light if grownups tried to shower or use the bathroom while they were sleeping.
All-in-all through, I *highly* recommend this hotel, and I expect that we will stay there again the next time we need accommodation in the Lansing area!

Had a great weekend stay for an event on MSU campus. Within walking distance to campus. Staff was friendly and helpful. The lady that works the breakfast area in the morning was super pleasant to everyone and went out of her way several times to make sure everyone had what they needed. She is a gem!

At check in time there were two people checking folks in. One person was being trained so it was really the eqivalent of 1 person. There were 4 of us in line and sooooo much time was spent with the first person (an adult) wanting to check into her mother's room. In a nutshell, tell her you cannot check into someone else's room, mother or not without them being there or saying okay. It took forever. Even when the woman finally tending to me she was still talking to the other woman. RUDE!

Room tv is in a horrible position where it’s cut off from a full view for the far bed. Should replace mount with an appropriate one that allows for a full view. Other than that a great experience.

I didn’t have a good experience checking in. When I went to check in the front office lady wouldn’t accept my visa because it was a green dot card and it had more than enough money on it to cover the room and she had an attitude about it and told me I needed another major credit card in order to check in which I didn’t have but luckily my nephew was with me and I used his card and venmod the money to him. I use that Visa card at every hotel I go to and it has never been a problem till now.
