Nice and lovely hotel

My wife and I had reservations for Thursday 4-18-24 to Sunday 4-21-24. When we arrived we were told we did not have a room. There was a leaking problem and we would need to drag our luggage down the street to stay at another hotel. We could then come the next morning, drag our bags back to Embassy Suites to stay the final two days of our reservation. We would not have to pay for Thursday night room or parking. We were to just hand an envelope to the clerk and all would be taken care of. Well at check in we had to wait 20-30 minutes to have this confirmed. The next morning we arrived back at Embassy Suites only to be told we needed to wait until 2:00PM to see if we were going to get a room. This was all very frustrating. If it was not for KEVIN, in the hotel lobby we would have wasted the entire day! I explained our situation and he went on to find a solution and we had a room in 20 minutes after talking to him. He saved our visit to Washington. The service he provided was absolutely excellent! The rest of the Embassy Suites performance was dismal. I would hope that KEVIN would receive some sort of compensation and recognition for the service he provided us.

I loved the layout of the hotel. The open concept made us actually visit the restaurant. The lady at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful.

The hotel was great. The staff was wonderful. The check-in experience seamless. The room was clean. The service was attentive and friendly. We visited DC as a family and the hotel made for a great experience.

I love these style hotels. They feel like a community! It looked nice, was well staffed, and had all the amenities like the daily free happy hour. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. My only complaint was how they handled a noise issue with the room next to us. I’ve never dealt with such a loud neighbor and all through the night. They claimed they sent up security twice after they originally told me that there was nothing they could do since it was before midnight. The noise went on all night and we got very little sleep. We ended up changing rooms to avoid another sleepless night. Don’t try to check in even one minute early. They charge a $100 early checkin fee and won’t let you in one second early! The items in the grab and go are $5 each and are all small bags of chips, peanuts, candy bars and sodas. You do get a $25 per day voucher though to offset the DC destination charge.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times. It’s typically my go to when I stay in DC. This time however, I wasn’t super happy with the visit. my first morning my shower was freezing after showering I went downstairs and told the front desk if someone can come look at it. I was told because it was cold outside to let the water warm up for 20 minutes before getting in. I had also ran out of towels and toilet paper as I had my daughter and her friends with me. I called down to the front desk and after an hour and a half half no one had brought any yet. I end up going to the pool and grabbing some towels. The next morning I did as they said and let the shower warm up for 20 minutes.. water was still freezing.. my room wasn’t as clean as it normally is. The pullout couch blankets were dirty, and I had to ask for new ones. The bedroom carpet was dirty and had stains. Makes me sad that cause I love this hotel. But I was a little disappointed this visit.

Property is beautiful. Garage is hard to maneuver. Suite is smaller than expected. Paid 44 dollars to park in a small cramped garage. Safe area to be. Lots of people with shopping bags

Service of front desk and dining staff was amazing. We dealt specifically in the dining room with Mahlet & Rechelle, who were both amazing.

I recently stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Washington DC Georgetown and had a mixed experience worth sharing.
**Pros:**
1. **Cleanliness:** The hotel was immaculately clean, a crucial factor in any accommodation.
2. **Staff Friendliness:** Every staff member I interacted with was courteous and helpful, enhancing the overall experience.
3. **Parking and Accessibility:** The parking was easy to find, and the hotel is situated in a walkable area, making exploring the surroundings convenient.
4. **Room Comfort:** The suite with two queen beds was spacious and provided a comfortable stay.
5. **Quiet Environment:** Despite its central location, the hotel maintained a peaceful ambiance.
6. **Breakfast and Location:** The breakfast offered was delightful, and the hotel's location is ideal for tourists.
**Cons:**
1. **Hidden Fees:** The major downside was the mandatory hidden fees. The hotel imposes additional charges, which are converted into credits to be used at the hotel or its local market. However, this felt more like a forced purchase rather than a benefit.
2. **Overpriced Items:** Every item at the local market was priced at $5, including simple things like a bottle of water. This uniform pricing seemed unreasonable and didn't offer good value for money.
**Conclusion:**
Overall, my stay at Embassy Suites was pleasant with exceptional cleanliness, friendly staff, and comfortable amenities. However, the mandatory hidden fees and overpriced items at the local market

Only a minus is that when you take schower you have to wait for warm water

Friendly staff. Unfortunately our two rooms were"sandwiched" between a room that hosted a "raging" teenager birthday party. The noise was unbelievable and after the "security"/night janitor asked them to quieten down at 1;00AM after multiple complaints I had to get dressed at 2:00AM and go down to the front desk. The desk clerk did go up there and twelve kids were escorted from the hotel by ONE adult. In the morning it was apparent there had been at least twenty five kids in there along with their amplified music, glitter bombs and NO supervision.
The manager assured me the next day I would be compensated for all the disruption that we endured....still waiting....crickets!

Great location for walking to everything. Nice, big rooms with lots of space.

The room and front staff were good. The restaurant was a problem we sat both nights for 20-30 minutes before without being served. We finally got up and got our own drinks and placed an order.
