Just okay. Breakfast was disappointing.

The hotel definitely needs a bit of touching up. While it wasnt horrible, the tub had a bunch of paint chipped and there was a weird smell throughout the hotel. The bed was the most uncomfortable and the main reason I will give 2 stars. The other reason is due to the "breakfast". I'm sorry, but half cooked sausage and potatoes is not what we expected for almost $300 a night. I dont even care much about how we waited for 15 min upon check in because there was no one at the desk. I'm a patient person so thay didn't bother me at all I did want to not it so everyone will know, though.

Traveling with HP person, who greatly enjoys hot tubs. Instructed by front desk to hot tub area. It was closed, no water in tub. Close by was a bike and what appeared to be a homeless person under a blanket. Shocking!! Two agents at Front desk did not know the hot had been closed for over a year. Hotels.com, made no mention either.
jackhammering or some other godly noise started up at 12:20 AM waking everybody up. This noise lasted 20 minutes. Hallway smelled of epoxy. Worst stay ever at Homeward Suites.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, even during renovations they did their best to minimize noise and kept it clean, breakfast was ok not super impressive but it was good, there was a staff member who helped us out, we needed milk for our 2 year old and they didn’t sell it in the little hotel shop so he went to the back and got me one from the breakfast stuff. Overall a great stay and felt very homely, only complaint was how thin the wall were, I could hear people talking in their rooms other than that no other complaints 😊

This is a nice convenient hotel but it is being remodeled.

The property is under renovations and repairs, they didn’t inform me upfront. And I encountered with all construction going on around my room, with all construction materials, paints and chemicals smells all over. I am absolutely disappointed that how they’re accepting reservations when they do repairs. I feel I have been cheated by Expedia and the property.

The room was in good conditions, just furniture outdated, but cozy room. Hot water works very well. Hot breakfast available, taste was okay. Overall it was good, staff very friendly. Target was very closed by to get groceries and some places to eat dinner.

Our second stay at this hotel and it was great! The staff is the friendliest, the free breakfast is delicious and the rooms are perfect for our big family. It’s a great value right outside of DC. We’ll be back for sure.

The staff were amazing, always offering more! I had mentioned it was our first time in D.C., and Wow! They really jumped in, offering ideas and places to go and see. The room, suite, was very clean and stocked with dishes and soap/shampoo/conditioner... not those cheesy little ones, but real bottles attached to the wall. AND the best part for me was they were all hypo-allergenic! No smells, or dyes etc.
Perks: Pets allowed, free dinner on Wednesday night, free parking, everything provided in the suite for dining and bathing, close to everything we needed, not far from museums, pool table, teens allowed in business area to play on computers, free coffee/tea all day and night...
Cons: What they call blankets are not. We're from FL, and needed more. The hot tub was out of service.
DEF recommend this place. We'd stay again! The kids loved it too. Which is rare to have the whole fam-damily in to it. LOL

It had a very unique and nice ambience for an outskirts area. Very convenient location for those that attend residency classes at the NOVA campus. Walking distance of about 15 mins.
Amenities were all well maintained and well thought for the King bedroom suite.
My minor quirk would be on the limited breakfast spread, but they covered the essentials for sure.

Property location was perfect for my visit. Room size was good. However, the property is dated and in need of renovations. Rug was stained and shower as well.

Old 30 years property which went under facelift renovation and branded as Hilton discounted outlet.
Heavily used since then with old furniture, painfully slow two elevators (one was out of service) and sticky ceramic tiles in the lobby and food area. Looks cheap.
Nice 👍 and friendly reception staff. Offered us 2 complimentary bottles of water on arrival (as for the Gold Members) which we didn’t want…
Management could have kept few bottles of water in each guest room instead.
Overall - was not a great place to stay at, - we we happily left this Hilton first thing in the morning.

The room was amazing, the coffee and breakfast were hot. The only negative was there was a slight smell in the front enternece but other than that it was good.

This is the first Homewood Suites I am disappointed in. Our room was on the 1st floor but was actually basement level. As a result the room was constantly soggy. The lighting in the room was dark and yellow and the room need updating. Although it was clean, there were several spider webs and cob webs on the windows. The breakfast was not up to Homewood Suites standard.
Not recommended. Doesn’t deserve the Hilton name.

Overall this place was adequate but not great. The entire property needs a detailed cleaning. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and the floors were dirty. We did like the space offered in the room with the separate bedroom and living room/dining and kitchen. We didn’t cook or eat there but it gave us a fridge and larger space to use. The pool was outdoors and had a lifeguard. We did enjoy that, but the hot tub was closed. Breakfast was pretty standard for hotel fare, but well serviced with staff and a large area to eat in.

The suite was perfect for a family of 3. We had everything we needed and plenty of space.

Staff was nice but the property is old and out of date. A serious renovation is needed.
