The noise from the road was loud and steady for most of the night. Room was nice and big.

Great except for loud motorcycles revving engines at all hours of night and early morning.

We came to visit Brown and this hotel
Is only 15 minute walk. There’s this restaurant in vicinity (food was descent) and
Walking distance to shops and places to see.

The bed was really comfortable so that's a huge plus. The hotel looks a little older and could use some renovations. You can stream Netflix on TV, which most hotels offer now, but the regular cable didn't work. I like watching the news every morning and couldn't, which was frustrating.

The rooms are very cleaned and well designed

I called the hotel directly to alter my reservation and the staffer I spoke to (Bee???) was so helpful! When we arrived, again, the lobby staff was welcoming and very helpful.

The room was not cleaned properly. As I started to turn down my bed,I noticed it was full of hair ( seemed like dog hair) and dirty blankets. Upon reporting to the manager, as the night auditor , wasn't helpful, she was apologetic and did what she could to make it right. I did. however have to sleep on the couch with clean sheets.

Everything was good, no complaints!❤️

The location is convenient. The room was spacious. I woke up in the middle of the night to the strong order of weed and my neighbors tv, needless to say The walls are paper thin. The front desk didn’t feel like doing her job and when I left the parking lot they tried charging be $143 for parking.

Pros: Convenient location in the city center. Walking distance to everything - train station, restaurants, theaters, Providence Mall, Brown University, etc.
Spacious, comfortable room with a coffee maker and refrigerator, a huge cozy armchair and even a table on wheels.
Cons: Traffic noise at night.
Outdated bathroom with fabric shower curtain that smells musty. The sink is located outside the bathroom.

The service was great The breakfast place was very good. What I hated was that garbage bags were left in front of rooms outside over night. It was awful

I hate giving negative reviews! Several little things indicated a lack of simple attention to detail. CLEANLINESS WAS FINE. A simple sign on the ice machine could have said, "Out of Order. SORRY!" The parking gate was a fiasco. Something as simple as a post-it note giving instructions would be SO easy! Another post-it note saying "Room Card Reader Not Yet Connected. SORRY!" would have saved MANY minutes of frustration. SO, so easy to do! Why wasn't it done? This was NOT cheap hotel. We expect better.

The hotel was very centered around its guests. Ample parking (although expensive), wonderful staff and large rooms with comfortable beds.

Stayed there for the Water Fire event 8/19. Location was excellent, directly across from the canal.
Now for the bad- Our room (137) was on the same side as the canal and boulevard. The music from the Water Fire, along with the traffic and noise from cars with ridiculously loud mufflers/exhausts were unbearable.
What is it with young men in Providence and those annoying exhaust systems????
If you stay here, request a room on the highest floor on the Kennedy Plaza side to avoid the sound of traffic!

They say you never get a second chance to make a first impression.
As far as the physical building, it was awesome. Great location, plenty of things to do around the hotel itself.
However, our greeting from one of the receptionists set the tone for our stay.
After a six hour layover at the airport, we finally checked into our hotel around 330 by a receptionist who had no compassion or personality.
We checked in at 3:30 in the morning, kept in constant communication and tried to get them to lower the cost of the room based on our circumstances out of our control, i.e. delayed flight.
The younger receptionist appeared to be willing to help but then he was overruled by the older receptionist, who didn’t want to give any leeway.
As a Bonvoy member that didn’t sit very well with me.
They did, however, give us the first free day of parking, which was good after it was apparent we were inconvenienced but the older receptionist seemed mad.
It wasn’t until the last day of our four day stay that our room was actually cleaned after one of the days we were told it would be cleaned that day only to return to find it was not cleaned.
There seemed to be miscommunication between the front staff and housekeeping.
When you spend almost 1K for four days you would expect the service you pay for.
As a side note, our rental vehicle was burglarized in Federal Hill after only being away from it for an hour.
We would have given a 5 star rating otherwise.

Staff professionalism and welcoming was great. Great location. Clean hotel. Very nice people work there.

The hotel was nice and clean. The women who made our check in was rude and didn’t act discriptively. We paid $30 parking fee. That area is very quiet, after 7 pm life seems to be over.
