Came for my husband's birthday. We got to enjoy the pool while we were there.

We did not get to check in until exactly 3:00, that is the policy and we were 30 min early and had to wait. The room was not ready when we went up so we asked house keeping to do it next and they did. It was clean when they were finished. They did not clean for us or take any trash out the next day: however, they only clean rooms after a guest departs. Also small pillows on beds not a standard size.

Staff when we first arrived were really nice but the rest of the stay staff were rude and gave my husband attitude when we asked for more towels after the cleaning staff took all ours. The hotel ran out of towels, pillows, and blankets. We had to switch rooms because the TV cord was busted. The couch beds were absolutely awful sleeping on the floor would have been better. The pool was dirty, the chlorine was too much and there was gritty stuff on the bottom of the pool.

The trip was phenomenal. The motel was comfortable and very pleasant. The only thing I would suggest to the motel is to expand the pool to accommodate the guests who come with children. The pool is too small for all the different families that arrive and stay especially with no schedule and being a free for all for swimming. The breakfast was delicious. Staff were very friendly and always assisting guests. Restaurants and shopping are all within 2-5 minutes away. I would recommend this motel and I look forward to staying again.

We have 3 kids, one is a year and a half old. We called a week in advance asking if there are cribs, staff said they have pack and plays. Asked if we can reserve it for our room and were told just to ask at check in as there's lots. When we checked in there were no pack and plays available. The next morning we found out from the manager that they only have one and it was already out.
We picked this hotel because there's a pool, so the kids could swim. We were told at check in only after asking where the pool is that it was closed for maintenance.
First room we were given smelled like rotting food. One of the beds had something encrusted onto the bed skirt, what looked like maybe mud or possibly old vomit. We asked for a different room and were moved.

Hotel is getting shabby. There are signs saying ‘pardon the mess due to renovation’ but no sign of any renovation going on. Gym equipment was non functional but we had to ask at the desk how to make it work before being told parts were on order, a sign would have been nice. A couple or worn out sockets in the room wouldn’t hold a plug, non working light, partially blocked sink and noisy at night with lots of kids staying. Oh and its been upgraded to a Do Not Disturb Hotel. i.e. there’s no maid service. The check in agent actually said it with a straight face 😁

Completely incompetent hotel staff. Checked into the hotel room and on the return after dinner the keys didn’t work. Then once in the room attempted to use the thermostat to set the heat, but the heat did not work. Spent 30 minutes working with the thermostat and the wall unit. No luck. Went down to the front desk and explained the problem asking to switch rooms and they told me there was nothing else available and there was nothing they could do to help me. I strongly recommend avoiding this horrible property. There’s a Holiday Inn express right down the street and I’d recommend going there. In addition, the rooms are old dirty and the maintenance has not been kept up on this hotel. Avoid this poorly run, dirty hotel.

The overall experience was excellent. However, the chair for the desk in room 330 should be replaced, it was unstable and wobbling. The coffee making in room 330 was missing slide that holds the coffee pod.

The staff was so nice ! When I got to my room it was more than I had expected ! It was clean, spacious and I loved how easy the tv was to operate and the swivel stand was perfect. Thank you so much! I would definitely stay there again !

I mentioned they had to work on cleaning their toilet needs painting and the furnhture needs updating and the tv is difficult to use the bed was very comfortable

Upon check in was given the wrong room- had 3 adults and 2 kids so booked a suite with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed, was told it was on the third floor. Given key to room on the second floor with only a king and a sofa bed. Spoke to front desk and they changed our room to a room that was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned.

Cicero was my old neighborhood before I moved out of state. The reason why I chose the Comfort Suite in Cicero is the location, how pet friendly it is and the large size of their rooms. This place used to be great but just like anything else, it needs to be updated when you have a lot of use out of it. The sofas and carpet really need to be change in all rooms. Fresh paint and curtains would be a plus too. The breakfast are not fancy but at least something warm before starting your day. All the beds are comfortable enough and cleaned. Fridge and Microwaves worked just fine. The Lobby is great, very friendly workers.

Easy access to interstate, large room, good breakfast variety and quantity, quiet area, great check in/out experience. Beds and pillows were not comfortable. Bathroom and room floors were not clean. Pool was closed for reno and not advertised on website. Not sure if I would go back.

Hotel is run down! The A/C did not work, rooms are not clean, pool water has too much chlorine, some staff were not really helpful. The tv doesn’t connect to wifi. Wifi in general extremely slow

Our kiddos did not take advantage of the pool but it looked nice. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice

Our stay was fine. On Friday night one bed in the room had a bed skirt that flowed out onto the floor around it. It looked like it was meant for a king sized bed, not a queen sized. It made the room look uncared for. I left a note drawing attention to it and hope it was corrected before someone else used the room.

Wow! Don’t even know where to start.
Stayed in room 330. No soap, no shampoo, (1) towel.
I booked 4 nights and checked out after 2. They charged me up front for the 4 night stay and have hot yet received a refund for the 2 nights not used. Bathroom sink did not drain. Backs up each time you use the sink. No local channels on tv. Room not cleaned each day. Never again!!!

The initial staff we encountered at 1pm was very rude in telling us that we had to come back at 3pm to check in. They failed to even say hello, just 'if you are here to check it its not until 3pm, the cleaning staff is allowed till then to clean the rooms' But different staff at 4 when we came back was very nice.

Very good stay, clean, comfortable, good WiFi, breakfast choices are not so good. Tracy at the front desk was extremely welcoming and did a good job making sure I was go to go. Even had a courtesy call. Best place to stay in Cicero

Great staff & clean. Stayed in 3 different rooms. Thecouches in all 3 need replacing. Disappointed the pool was closed.

I booked a first floor room… on arrival I waited 20 plus minutes to be checked in to a second floor room … when I got in the room the stench of marijuana was over powering …, back to the front desk for 20 more minutes… reluctantly now moved to the 3rd floor.. where the curtains were torn … help at the counter didn’t think anything of it

We have stayed at many Comfort properties through the years and believe they offer great value for the price. In this case, part of the reason we booked this hotel was to provide some indoor pool activities for the grand children. We were very disappointed to hear that the pool was down for maintenance with no comment about its return to service. Almost felt like the ice cream machines at McDonalds...

The pool was out of order so bringing the kids was the worst idea. And the women at the front desk didn’t want to help accommodate at all. Thanks to the helpful young man who did.
But then sent us to another hotel where the pool was also closed down right while the kids swam, by a grumpy maintenance man, who seemed upset that they were swimming in the morning. But the pool opens at nine and he decided to close at 9:20.am
