Bed and pillows were pretty horrible! Front desk was very nice but guy in the Starbucks couldn’t get anything right.

Excellent location to get to arena. Lots of places to eat close by. Friendly staff. Not happy to have to pay to park. Nightly rates are on the higher side so parking should be included.

My sister and I took our children up for concert. Rooms
We’re not ready for checkin. Unable to get ready for concert in rooms. They went off to the concert while we waited. Said would call when ready. Never called. We’re not ready until close to 8pm. Extremely frustrating. Planned to stay here in October but cancelled those reservations. Second time stayed here and same thing happened. Not worth the frustration. Ate at local pizza place. Sister had grizzle throughout chicken tenders. Didn’t eat. Nachos had pile of grease on bottom making them soggy. The rest was good.

Excellent location within walking distance of Key Bank Center. Late night food options would have been nice and parking was limited, but overall a clean, comfortable stay with welcoming staff.

We came to Buffalo to see an NHL game on a Sunday evening with my 2 kids and chose this hotel because it was 2nd closest to the arena. Our first choice didn’t have a pool so we picked this one; for the sole reason of them getting so swim. That didn’t happen because it was being cleaned when we checked in and this morning at 10 they were dumping jugs of chlorine and chemicals. Very frustrating telling two young boys they can’t swim and also try and keep them occupied. Staff didn’t seem to care.

Hot tub and pool were down. The pool filter was broken but pool still open so it looked cloudly with body hair floating around. There were also no towels. Given the high cost of there rooms I would excepted a lot more. Would not recommended.

Didn’t mention anything about paying to park at the hotel when booking the room. The bed was comfortable and the shower was really nice. Had really good press and had hot water both days. Design wise the room is kind of bland. Breakfast isn’t included here so you have to wait sometimes longer than when the kitchen says it’s going to open if you want to eat at the hotel. There are a couple places nearby you can get food. A week before we were to arrive the whirlpool was going under maintenance and was still unavailable for us to use.

We had a great time in Buffalo. Hotel staff was very friendly and great breakfast at the hotel lobby. Free parking which is ideal for our trip.

I always love to stay here when I make my drive from upstate New York to St. Louis. The property has everything you could ever need, including a small bistro. They’re always accommodating and take care of you, They make you feel special.

We had to move rooms because of a Canadian youth hockey team. Playing a hockey game in the hall and hit my wife in the face with a ball.

Checkin was poor. Waited abit and the guy checking me in said, “Did you hear what I just told her (the person he checked in, in front of me) or do I have to repeat myself?” The key cards either wouldn’t work for the elevator or wouldn’t work for the hotel room so I ended up with 2 different sets. The pool was pretty dirty with lots of floating debris. There was a cigarette lighter laying on the floor of our hotel room and the top sheet on the bed was stained with ??? The room was set to 66, which was abit chili but when I set it to 70–it took a couple hours to get to that temp, and for whatever reason, the temp started going back down again. It was a pretty chili room to sleep in during winter. :-/ considering the cost for rooms compared to other hotels in the downtown area, I really did not think it was worth it. The guy working at the Bistro in the morning was an extremely nice guy tho.

Very conveniently located. Canalside is right next door, the Main Street Metro station is at the doorstep. I’d stay here again.

We were quite upset/ disappointed at the fact that we paid $30 per person for breakfast only to find out that it was not a $30 breakfast, but a bistro. For two total breakfast it was $30( a premade sandwich and juice). Total waste of money extremely disappointed as this was not what we paid for.

The location is awesome and you can easily walk all over down Buffalo and there’s security for parked cars. The staff was really friendly and even though the building was shared by other tenants, the property was well maintained and quiet where the guest rooms were located. You could tell the room had recently updated and was nice.
My two complaints are that our faucet was weird (VERY hard to turn on) and leaked, we called down to the front desk as the faucet leaked ALL over the counter when it was on and our only option was to change rooms which was inconvenient as we had already unpacked. My second complaint is that our in-room fridge didn’t work, I think it was energy efficient and therefore didn’t run/ cool all the time? Either way by day 2 it wouldn’t cool at all and all of our food went bad (we had stopped in a few other places in WNY before staying in downtown Buffalo).

Extremely disappointed considering I booked knowing there was a hottub. Got a notification a month ago saying it was in service. When arriving was notified it was still out of order. Asked for a comp on something considering the hotel did not live up to their end. Considering the hot tub was under maintenance for a month tells me they had more then enough time to
Fix the issue. I spent a lot of money on a 2 night stay as well. Never had anyone clean my room in those 2 days either. Mariott should be embarrassed of this type of service. I can’t see this hotel thriving with these types of habits.

I was supposed to be able to check in at 3 but they kept saying that my room wasn't ready. Finally at 5:15 it was ready and we needed to get in and get ready for an event at 6.

A group of us stayed here for a concert at Key Bank Center. Hotel is in an excellent location to the Center and dining. This is my 4th time staying here for a concert and it never disappoints.

Check in was a mess after being told night before a room was blocked off for early check-in. Sat in lobby for two hours. Hot tub not working. Pool was pretty cold for being heated. Overall not worth amount paid.

3 minute walk to the arena and the pizza restaurant was great, the food was delicious and came very fast even though the place was full. The Starbucks was a great send off for the trip home.
