WHAT AN AWESOME PLACE TO SPEND A FEE DAYS!!! The Patels are AMAZING hosts, very accommodating, pleasant folks, I highly recommend getting to know this family, sure there are larger more luxurious places to stay, but having spent time with them recently, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else on the island

Newly renovated and the beds were very comfortable. The shower jets were amazing. Staff friendly and helpful. The only thing is there were ants. Not a whole lot but enough.

I booked this because my husband and I wanted to do a beach day and not have to drive all the way back to Philly. I got there early but they let us check in for a fee. I should’ve gotten that gentleman’s name, but he went above and beyond. The room we had, had a foul odor to the point where it was unbearable. We both have breathing issues and even though I purchased air fresheners - it still wouldn’t control the smell. It smelled like literal death in that room and there were flies galore. I couldn’t tough it out so I went back to the reception. The guy there was friendly and very accommodating. Got us another room at a sister location that was closer to the beach and boardwalk. That room was way better and smell free. He even refunded our early check in fee. In hindsight I should’ve let him keep it because he definitely didn’t have to do that and he turned a bad situation into a pleasant one. So if his superiors are reading this please give that man a raise and a day off because he works everyday 12-8. Minus the smell it’s a cute hotel. Not far from the beach and boardwalk. Rooms are roomy and the shower was very modern.

It started off.. we were going to stay at the sunrise inn... the bathroom was nasty with hair follicles from the downstairs mixup around the shower, so the manager said he was going to take us to a nicer hotel closer to the beach. The Beachside Resort. That’s were the nightmare began.. if I had inspected the room more before we went to the beach I would have asked to stay at the Sunrise Inn! Definitely a lot nicer room! They offered to clean the bathroom but I was so disappointed that I just wanted to leave. So, off to Beachside Resort..... Not happy at all!!! For $700.00 for two nights, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone!!! The bed sheets were covered with makeup smears on them. (Had to ask for clean sheets)The toilet seat was broken. Both the sink faucet and the shower head were wobbly. (I thought that they were going to come out of their homes) the floors were dirty! The pool has a suction hole on the side of the wall. (Obviously where they hook up the hose to clean the pool) My daughter was close to the wall and it sucked in her back, gave her a ring on her back and still hurting 2 days after the trip! The parking situation sucks! We got back from dinner for my daughter’s birthday, and we had to pay the meter across the street for the night! 16.95! I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to enemies... well maybe.

Hidden Jem!! Beautiful yellow doors, beautiful bathroom . Nice clean, perfectly folded sheets. Furniture was nice as well and not awfully outdated. Super clean and super friendly! Great parking! Nice pool! Hardworking staff! I’m coming back !

It was a fabulous time! Check in was easy. Pictures online is what we got, yeah! Beds were comfortable. Clean, quiet and walkable. I didn’t know it’s only one car pass included, frustrating when we were a family with two cars. Pool was great! Loved the shower. Family of four stayed.

Overall, the place was nice. We found dirty left over face towels in the shower. Found popcorn under sheets on one of the beds.

My experience was terrible at this hotel. Room had a horrible musty smell, sheets were dirty, spiders in the bathroom and no one on the front desk to speak to. I had booked for 2 nights and stayed only 1.

This was a last minute booking as my son wanted to stay an extra day to enjoy the Boardwalk however the staff was friendly. The room could’ve been a little cleaner. There was no iron or ironing board to press your clothing. The bathroom was nice but dusty and the toilet was not clean. The pool was unbelievably dirty, the water was very mirky with bugs and leaves floating in it. Upon checking out I literally watched the staff just pour chemicals in the pool and didn’t clean it at all. The location is good and just a quick walk from the beach and boardwalk. Bottom line if your just looking for somewhere quick to stay like just a night this is okay but for more comfort and luxury not really idea.

The staff at this resort was extremely amazing, they addressed our needs and where very patient as we took up an entire floor.. I will definitely be back in the future.. And my son lost his phone the housekeeper turned it in.. Awesome

Unprofessional customer service, and very poor management.

Terrible. I reserved 2 rooms with 2 beds each. Check in time was 3pm and after. We check in around 5:30 to find out they’ve given one of our rooms away, so we had to accommodate with a room with one bed for a night. I kept asking why our room was given away and the clerk- who was absolutely not sober - kept saying that’s just what happened. He gave no actual response as to what happened and why our room which was RESERVED was given away. After much negotiating we took the 2 rooms given with 3 beds instead of 4, and were given a different 2 bed room the next day. The room next to our 2 bed room was empty the entire night and they refused to let us have it. Poor service through and through.

The room was clean with comfortable beds. The bathroom was updated with great shower. I didn’t like that there were three beds and only I blanket, had to ask for extra blankets, sheets and pillows. The deadbolt on the door didn’t work, they came to fix it immediately. When housekeeping came they left the door unlocked when they left and there was no secondary lock on the inside of the door. Other than that it was a nice place to stay, the staff was very attentive to our needs during our stay.
