I love Tru hotels. The quirky aesthetic is a fun deviation from standard hotels. I love the community boards that make great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. The breakfast was great. The room was neat and clean. Just a great stay.

The room was clean and we liked the way the soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensed in the bathroom. It was, hands down, the noisiest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The noise from the roadway outside didn’t dampen in the room. It was almost like cardboard was used for insulation. There was also a lot of ambient noise from other rooms, most likely due to the hard flooring. We will return to Allen but not to this hotel.

My husband and I really enjoyed out stay here. The staff was very friendly, and breakfast was better than most hotels. The room was very clean when we got there, and we liked the eco-friendly touches. We liked the convenience of having food and drinks to purchase downstairs after hours, as well as a water refill station next to the ice maker. My only true complain is that the rooms were really small, so we didn't have a sitting area to eat dinner (just a desk and chair). We ended up eating in the lobby, because there are plates and silverware offered to guests. There is also no dresser/drawers to put your clothing for extended trips. There is a small area where you can hang a few shirts, but it's directly above the table that houses the fridge, so you forfeit the use of that table if you're hanging anything longer than a standard shirt/sweater. There is no place to hang dresses or suits. Overall, we would stay in a Tru again if it were a shorter trip!

The gentlemen who was working the front desk was friendly and he made sure the lobby was very clean. He was a very hard worker. He even Lysol all the furniture.

The rooms were great. Nice and modern. The bathroom appeared to be a pretty quick clean instead of deep clean. The TV was great and had a TON of channels which was awesome! The bed was comfortable. Half the usb power outlets didn’t work in my room and the AC was locked out at 65 and had a timer or something so it wouldn’t get very cold in the room which was a huge bummer for me. Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast. Easy highway access and Walmart is right behind it if you need anything. Overall a good stay

I love the staff. The young men there are superb. They are super friendly. Its very clean there. I love the pool table. I love everything about this hotel. And will continue to us it, when we come that way for sports events.

i enjoyed the property, the staff was very friendly and attentive to any and all issues i had my stay there. The breakfast was pretty good the only l complaint i would have is the pancake batter needs some taste to it. It was very bland tasting. That would be my only complaint.

We got in late and the hospitality at the front desk was top tier! After a recent stay at a Tru in Dallas with the kindest and most welcoming staff, this is why I booked at another Tru and I wasn’t disappointed. I will book again.

This is the first Tru Hilton I’ve stayed at and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The continental breakfast was better than what I’ve had in the past. The staff was very helpful and attentive to my needs. The room was clean and sanitized as well. I will return for future stays.

Specifically looked for Tru with pool table and game options for our kids. Went out of our way to book this hotel and will now always look for a Tru! Gaming and seating area help gets the kids out of the room more! Loved it! I feel the breakfast options was meh, don’t loved the powdered eggs. It was a nice treat to have the indoor gun range right next door we had a blast of an activity there also! Nice to have Walmart nearby as well in case we forgot anything it was within walking distance.

We stayed at the Tru Hilton in Allen, Tx. We couldn't have enjoyed a hotel more. First off the customer service provided by Randall Cook at the front desk was beyond awesome. Extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. We had a glitch with our room not being ready so Randall quickly changed us to another room and gave us both a gift bag. The lobby and room reminded us of a boutique hotel. Decorated young and hip in this seniors mind. Absolutely loved it!! This chain will be our go to in all future travels. Priced just right as well.

Booked the room via 3rd party hours before arrival & confirmation # wasn’t showing up yet on TRU’s side, but Randall the Night Manager @ the desk was a huge help & cool calm and collected, called the 3rd party & got it straightened out.
