The room itself was comfy, very loud from outside noise and neibhbors tv. Not very well insulated. The room also had a strange smell. The front desk clerk girl upon check in barely said two words and seemed rude.

Loved our one night stay after Thanksgiving dinner with family. Hotel was clean, staff were extremely helpful, considerate and nice. All extras the hotel offered were-breakfast, 24 hr coffee, 24 hr store inside hotel, plenty of games in lobby, large tv’s in lobby, plenty of chairs, sofas and tables placed throughout lobby. The lobby was decorated lovely. It was bright and colorful. The rooms were clean, pillows were fluffy, the soaps, conditioners and shampoos were placed in new long squeezable tubs. The smells throughout hotels were relaxing. Would stay here again if in the area.

We attended Gabriel Iglesias show last night in Stockton. The hotel is nice, clean, and beautiful bright colors. Located near the freeway and many restaurants to choose from. We would definitely stay again if in the area again.

Very good. Front desk staff very pleasant. A very surprising enjoyable stay. Very clean. I Suggest shower glass be scrubbed down once a week? There is hard water residue that wipes off once is wet. I thought shower was made of rainglass till I rubbed my nail across and it revealed clear glass.

Nice place. We were on the 2nd floor on the front of the hotel. Music from the hotel across the parking lot was noticeable until 1:30 am. Would definitely recommend

Nicely appointment rooms. Nice lobby. Decent breakfast but eggs are filled with peppers so you'd better like them! (Not me!) Pet friendly is a stretch there's no real "pet area" or grass nearby.

My room is very clean, the area seems very safe. I'm single woman Traveler with a dog and I'm not afraid to walk her at night. I would definitely come back here if I came back through the area. They offer breakfast. The only thing I miss is coffee in my room. Otherwise this is a great place.

We are repeat customers, choosing this hotel as a safe, convenient, and well-appointed stop mid-journey between Portland and LA. However, this last experience was marred by excessively noisy guests. The partying went on for hours, with the noise level defeating ear plugs and headphones. After a long day of driving, we got only 3 hours of sleep to get us through another long day of driving. Frequent complaints were raised with the front-desk; while they staff was friendly, nothing was done to quiet the partiers, nor was an alternative room or even a credit offered for the inconvenience. This was a poor experience, and a service fail.

I called the front desk multiple times because my neighbor was playing their music extremely loud and it was 0200 am. At 0320 they finally came in and talked to them. The audacity is crazy. The hotel wasn’t full and they still put people next door to each other.

it is a nice hotel but sadly there is no pool, which I was really looking forward to use after the funeral. I hope one day there will be a pool cause then I will definitely stay there every time I go visit family

Super clean with great service but get a room that doesn’t face the freeway. We stayed over on a Saturday and there were cars with super loud exhaust systems well into the morning. Will return but will make certain to be on the other side of the building.

Tru Hotel is located close to the property where I use to live. This made getting around a breeze for us. The hotel is nice with modest features, but it is a new hotel (2 years old) and you can tell they work very hard to keep the hotel interior and exterior clean. The lobby area is nice and inviting, with a pool table and free coffee all day and night. The breakfast is above basic. All of those things were wonderful, but the best part of the stay were the pillows and the STAFF. Everyone we came into contact with greeted us with a smile and light conversation. Overall, it was a very good stay and I will definitely recommend the hotel to anyone traveling in the Lathrop/Manteca area.

Nice staff. Even had a pool table and corn hole. Breakfast was sub par. I have stayed in a thousand hotel rooms (not an exaggeration) and I have never stayed in a smaller room. Nice room, but very very tiny

I just don't like the dog feet deposit. It was 75. And then I stated another hotel and it was only a $20 deposit that seems more reasonable to me

This was the first time we have stayed at a Tru property. There were some good things about it, but overall we were disappointed. The place had a "college dorm" theme about it. The wifi was particularly disappointing. You had to give all this personal information, including email address and other contact information which will just be used to bug you with constant ads and promotion. We didn't sign into the wifi which was a drag. The bathroom door had some sort of closing mechanism so that it constant shut, and there was no way you could leave it open. The walls were paper-thin and when people in the next room came in at 2:30 in the morning, they woke both of us up. The place was clean and otherwise ok, but we won't stay there again, and we probably will avoid Hilton properties in the future if you have to join this Hilton Honors to use the wifi.

I came for the free EV charging, which was great, but as soon as I walked into the lobby around 8:30 pm, I was overwhelmed with a cloud of really obnoxious fake vanilla like odor. I immediately commented on it to the attendant, who said she had just put on some vanilla hand cream, but that doesn’t even come close to explaining it. It was clear someone had been smoking marijuana, and my best guess is that someone, maybe even the attendant, was trying to cover that up with an even stronger odor. I fled to my room and thankfully my room did not smell bad and in fact was a great. Very clean, new, good bed, good shower, and I loved being able to watch Netflix on a big screen.
