Our stay was great. The room was very clean and comfortable and the location was perfect. I was able to park for free on the street directly adjacent to the building entrance. Will definitely stay here again.

The property was lovely and a gorgeous room to stay in! The room was fairly large, had a fridge, microwave, and even an oven and washer-dryer.
The area around the property was a little busy, but there are residential neighborhoods nearby for walking. Sonder hospitality staff provided ear plugs in case needed at night. Close to the Metro and easy to navigate to nearby bus routes. I had a great stay!

There was a used condom under the bed, the sheets weren't cleaned, and nothing was cleaned. Dirty dishes, the AC was broken and wifi was not reliable.
Staff are outsourced to the Philippines so customer service can't do anything, nor do they care.
This is more expensive than a hotel, but dirtier than a hostel. Not too mention their listings lie, and they scam customers.

Everything worked out great… the only thing is the wifi did not connect. Also there was a tiny hole in the ceiling above the shower. Looked like a leak in the ceiling perhaps. Should be patched up.

We had a problem that resulted in an unpleasant first day and sleepless first night and annoying second day. It didn’t get resolved until most of our stay was over even though we were assured someone who help.

This Sonder facility is in a great location. Apartment was comfortable and spacious. Dishwasher leaked all over the floor, there is no sponge or brush to use for dishes. Place could use a paint job. But overall, we were quite satisfied.

The accommodation was reminiscent of a similar hotel in Hong Kong. Small, compact, but outfitted with everything required for a stay. All that was needed to enjoy it was available close by in the immediate vicinity.

I was not happy with my experience of room type received. I booked a 1-bedroom w/ king bed through Expedia. When I arrived (no on-site front desk), we were put into a studio with double bed. When I called the phone number for Sonder, I was told there that's what Expedia has reserved and they had no other rooms. We stayed in the room. When I contacted Expedia about the rate difference, they claimed the the hotel "upgraded" us. We were not moved or offered anything different. When I now search on the Sonder website, I can see that sometimes the 1-bedroom rate is higher and sometimes the studio rate is higher. It feels like a scam to me. I'm unhappy with the experience and won't book again.

Spacious, Very clean, modern. Beautiful view of skyline of montreal. Full kitchen, plenty of TV channels. Personal Laundry + dryer. Better than my own apartment in many ways.

It was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. The kitchen was also nice but may I suggest a pitcher to put lemonade or to put water into the fridge.

We loved staying here! It’s a super nice apartment with a full kitchen. It is right in the heart of the Mount Royal neighborhood and super close to the metro. Will absolutely stay again!

Nicely decorated, comfortable, large queen bedroom with full kitchen, washer and dryer, BUT it smelled like drain pipes :(.. the kind of smell that you get used to after a few minutes, but it still hits you when you first enter the room.
There’s no reception, so when I needed a cork screw, I had to go buy one the next day.
I am still uneasy that they are asking for face recognition capture to give you the door access codes.
Having said all that, I’d prob stay here again. It was a great location, close to metro and lots of dining and nightlife.

The location of the accommodation is very good, close to the metro, main roads and several restaurants and cafes.
The room is well equipped to have a pleasant stay (kitchen with accessories, washing machine, dryer, etc.). It would have been better to have a proper desk to work on.
The check-in and check-out process was very smooth.
I only found the pillows uncomfortable (too soft).

ALL of the amenities you could hope for were there, all of the cookware to make yourself meals, an iron and an ironing board, a coffee machine, a kettle, a washing machine and dryer! That was the best part of this property. Sonder is really in-tune to what guests want/need during their stay.

This place has the worst check-in process I have ever experienced. They've tried to automate it using face-scanning in a web browser and text messages. Regardless of how unnecessary and annoying that is by itself, it simply doesn't work. The last thing you want is to be unsure if you can even get into your hotel the night before a trip. It took 20 mins of failing to check-in using a browser and then another 40 minutes on the phone with customer support for me to simply check-in. Similar places I've stayed have literally just emailed me a door code and called it a day. The room itself was minimal and fine, but I won't stay here again. Not out of punishment for my bad experience, but because there's literally no guarantee I'd be able to get into my room without someone in customer service hacking my account to get me in.

The cleanliness and functionality of the room was superior. Everything was thought of - the laundry tabs, to the olive oil for cooking in the fully kitted out kitchen.
Location is stellar. Right next to charming Mont-Royal street with cute bars, bakeries, restaurants.
Spotless as well and had a good sleep in a comfy bed. No issues with noise- I know people mentioned that could be an issue, but I was there during the week... I'm sure it probably gets very noisy on weekends. Earplugs were provided though.

Clean, good appliances. Very hot due to insufficient air conditioning for the unit. Extremely noisy opposite a bar on a pedestrian-only street (people shouting late into the night, eg at 3am). The only quiet night was Monday. Ability to leave luggage on the premises is insufficient (an unattended room that any resident can access)

Great location in a local neighbourhood, so many options for restuarants close by, metro station close by to access downtown, easy to get around without a car, especially liked bixi bike rentals. Unit was clean and kitchen was well equipped. Its a noisy lively location, but we slept soundly with earplugs and the great white noise machines provided in bedrooms, when we slept with the windows open.

Our daughter was graduating from McGill and lives 10 minutes from this location. Needless to say, this proximity was very handy. Not only that, but a Metro stop is very close! Add all the coffee shops, bars, restaurants, bookstores and vintage stores nearby, the location is a winner!
The place was very clean and had all that we needed for a week's stay.

My room was not available when I checked in (I arrived around 10:30 pm), apparently due to renovation. I called Sonder customer service, and the only solution they provided was to give me another room, but in a totally different location, another Sonder building downtown Montreal (like 10 mn drive from the place I originally booked). According to them, the hotel was full at this location. I then called hotel.com, who called on my behalf Sonder. Like magic, Sonder found a room (after negotiation told me the friendly hotel.com customer service rep) in the first building (the one where I originally booked). 1h lost, but thanks hotel.com. Otherwise the stay was great.
