Ok , but some clitches ,heating should not be an issue for acommondation in this prize range

make sure that heating and electrical heating was working, both the heater and dishwaser did not work, took a day to fix the heater and the dishwater was not used do to malfuction

Superb location but a few small things could be improved

Lovely apartment and superb location however there should be a note on the booking page that this property may not suit someone with mobility issues given all the steps to the apartments on the higher levels. I don't think parents with small children would fancy hauling buggies up all the stairs either.

I agree with a lot of the previous reviews especially when it comes to things that should be looked at. No wine bottle opener which was very disappointing after purchasing a bottle of wine with a cork. A bottle opener would also have been appreciated. The rooms are very cold but this may be due to the old windows which are very thin. There was a torn sheet on one of the beds. It's disappointing considering the price we paid to stay here. Curtain hooks are damaged so curtain kept coming off the rail. Flickering light in the kitchen was annoying.

location is great and kitchen has everything you need. it is beautiful seeing people all day around from the windows.

if you need space and want to be close to all key sites in Edinburgh, this is the place to be!

Location is PERFECT! the 3 bedroom layout was comfortable for 5 adults. (two couples and single)

if you cook, fry lans did not work on induction. Heating system is hard to figure out - too hot, too cold. Carpet in one of bedrooms heavily stained. Location is noisy through the night if you face High Street.

no hot water available at the flat. My father got hypothermia due to freexing cold water in the shower and microwave and toaster werent working and were not replaced despite multiple request. would like a refund on my booking.

The beds and pillows felt old and saggy, and there are a ton of stairs into the apartment. This place may be hard for small children due to the stairs.

Amazing location, super clean, very responsive and trustworthy employees

location, sizes of each room, amenities such as toilet paper, towels, hair dryer and iron in each bedroom.

only 1 set of house keys were available for a 3br apartment. We were a family of 3 couples and had different plans so 3 set of keys would have been useful.

Great location and awesome service! Just wish the place was cleaner.

The location was absolutely amazing! It was a walking distance from all the places we wanted to visit 5-15 min. It’s a beautiful apartment (No.2) and it has a lovely view. The service is great, they truly are an awesome team, always polite and quick with responses. There was a little hiccup with one of the staff members responses but this was quickly noticed and does not reflect my thoughts on the rest of the members as they were truly pleasant. I feel that the customer service was what really made the stay worth it as I wasn’t too happy with certain aspects of our stay.

The property was not as clean as expected. When we walked in, we were immediately hit with an awful smell which we found came from the dish washer. It was cleaned but the door should have been left slightly open for the air to come out. During the start we found that my baby had spots/rashes on his back, which he’s never had before. When we lifted the bed sheet, we saw why. There were multiple yellow stains on the mattress protector. We washed the sheets again as this was all we could do and placed a blanket in the middle for him to sleep on. There were also several hairs left around the bathroom, from the previous guests I presume. They were mainly found near the soap holders. The heater in the bedroom wasn’t working which would be fine during the day, however at night I would feel it. This will mainly affect people with Anaemia as it was fine for my husband and baby but not me. So I didn’t feel the need to call in about this as I just used the water bottle gifted to me. We also couldn’t find the outside bin to put the trash in so my husband had to teach 5 min to the nearest big bin found through the Edinburgh website and throw it away. The staff also didn’t know where it was, however this is not their fault as they had the same instructions that we were given.

Location is excellent. Note that self-catering was challenging as there is no bottle opener, corkscrew, ice tray or baking sheets. Kitchen knives are blunt. Crockery and cutlery all low-grade. This is a shame as none of these things would be difficult or expensive to remedy. Given the cost, we expected that this aspect of our stay would be significantly better.

Perfect location, the apartment was certainly tidy and clean

No handsoap or shampoo in one of the bathrooms. The list underneath tha dishwasher kept falling off when opened. And could do with 2 more pillows in one of the bedrooms. Minor things but still important.

location outstanding …. quality of furniture and bedding excellent.

Pretty with problems

Nicely furnished. Comfy beds. Great location.

There were several amenities missing: no paper towels, no way to make ice (cube trays),no bottle or can opener, no spare rubbish bin liners. Batteries in TV remote were dead. No place for sundries in the guest bath. The sash on the small bedroom was broken, and no rack or shelves for clothing in that room. LOTS of stairs. No lift. Street noise including buskers was pretty loud.

location was amazing close enough to the castle and Harry Potter shops and stops.

For as long as we were there we did not have enough towels for all four of us. also no way to dry wet clothes and towels. I would recommend for longer stays you offer a laundry service to pick up and drop off in our location. Also needed more trash bags on site and when it got hot the kitchen window would not open, we need fresh area to flow thru the flat. Also the fridge would not cool our food so some spoiled. we also were not told we would have access to public parking for our rental. we were told of 3 different lots to access but they were closed to us so we had to return the rental car the day after we got it. tell yr residents you do not recommend a rental car. Lastly the mattresses we not comfortable mine felt like I was laying on a box spring it was so hard and uncomfortable and my friends was soft but sunk in the middle it had no support in the master bedroom.
