Great Holiday destination in a large apartment

Excellent apartment on edge of a busy waterfront

No Dish soap or Kitchen Towels Lay out could be better Living room could have been much more homely and pleasant with some warm Throws or Blankets

Very nice for couples with no kids

I love the shutters and air conditioning. The apartment is very clean. location is awesome. The pool was outstandingly clean.

Pool in Marina residence is very cold even in hot weather. Also the apartment is not ideal for family with young children. The main door has no inside lock, glass windows in entire apartment have no safety lock, lights and shutters switch installed so low my 2 year old can reach all of them and kept flickering with them (stopped him more than hundred times 😰). other than all these problems the apartment was very relaxing

Tolle Ausblicke

Die Lage direkt am neuen Hafen war super. Aus dem Schlafzimmer sieht man den Sonnenaufgang und von der Terasse den Sonnenuntergang.

Die Möbel waren teilweise schon etwas verschlissen. In der Küche war nur das nötigste vorhanden.

Fantastic stay, great location, very clean and staff very helpful at checkin.

Good

Good location. Very nice, modern hotel. Very clean. We stayed in the apartments. If we needed anything we got it straight away. Staff very accommodating. Hotel very well run, clean and runs very efficiently.

A few cleaning agents just to have would be handy since the rooms don't get cleaned every day.

Spacious and wonderful apartment

Spacious apartments with a sea view from the balcony. All apartments have a spacious balcony with a sea view. Plenty of free parking, though you might have to park around the corner sometimes. Great restaurants nearby and a great new marina complex with a great nighttime vibe to it, maybe a mix of Portuguese, brazillian and cuban. Local restaurants very, try Cestaria is superb, we suggest for once eating inside. The people at Olhão are mostly Portuguese, Spanish and a few French

Usually eat out for breakfast in the local restaurants but chose to eat at the hotel connected to the apartments. All the hot food was cold, even those freshly brought out. Massively disappointed especially as we paid 20 euros more than eating out locally.

Lovely place, some points to improve on

Lovely apartment with roof top pool.

Some general maintenance needed to pool area, looked a bit tired. The apartment had no salt and pepper, dish cloth or dish towel and no dishwasher tablets or washing up liquid, they also had no plastic cups to take to the pool area and a lack of glasses in the kitchen, these are basic requirements for an apartment. There was also no literature about the local area, what to do, where to go!

Good location but no use of the main hotel.

It was in a nice location close to lots of restaurants. Good for waking around. Very safe feeling. They were helpful when we needed to change rooms due to a very heavy fishy smell. Also the pool is pretty useless since it’s only a couple feet deep.

It was poorly stocked. No dish soap so impossible to keep clean. Also no sponges or towels in the kitchen. Minimal equipment too. 6 big pots but only one sauté pan. Very few tools to work with.

Would definitely return

Location amazing! Right next to all food places, 15 min drive from the airport, either with rental car or taxi. Swimming pool on the roof terrace. Two bathrooms. Kitchen fully equipped, air con, massive terrace

It’s not great if you stay for some days as property does provide anything to clean after. No washing up liquids in the kitchen, no kitchen towels, no tea no coffee or sugar. Land up investigating in cleaning up products.

Mixed feelings probably wouldn’t come back again

the apartment was really clean , and lots of room , nice to have a balcony and a view of the water from both bedroom and balcony

Noise from the bars across the road into the early hours made it difficult to sleep. The entrance to halls /lift was dirty /smelly and a bag of laundry( bed linen etc) was left there for days before being collected . I informed reception at the hotel and the laundry was finally removed but neither the hall to our flat /lift and entrance hall were ever cleaned there were even two cockroaches on the floor when we left after our 5 day stay. Staff very pleasant . The hotel feels like it doesn’t care about the apartments just the actual hotel . Very disappointing .

Love the location, would probably stay at a different place next time

Excellent location, within walking minutes from great restaurants and ferries to the islands. 10 minutes by car from Faro and within reasonable distance from nearby towns. Spectacular sunsets to go along.

The fact that I had to plea with the hotel for fresh towels and bedding is outrageous not to mention the rudeness of the staff, like if I had asked for an impossible. There was a cockroach running around our suite on arrival and spent some time locating it and killing it. The suite was pretty dusty and they didn't do a good job cleaning it either, prior to our arrival. Since we had asked for the towels outside of the schedule, our cleaning got pushed out to the day we were leaving. Never once anyone came around to ask how we were doing or if we needed anything, you are pretty much on your own. So good luck if your toilet paper runs out before the next scheduled cleaning.

Nice units for extended stay

Generally everything went well.

The units have lateral views of the ocean. Fortunately, we were in the second unit from the beach, so had a pretty nice view, but if one were further toward the back, the view would be pretty skimpy.

Olhao apartment stay

Familiarity, been before and same good standard as previously. Good location for walking into Olhao.

Under resourced in kitchen essentials- no washing up cloths, cleaning products etc. Had to buy everything just for a few days stay.

there wasn't supermarket nearer or at least somewhere to buy milk pool at hotel was empty and there was a charge to use indoor pool

fabulous!!!

everything! great location, close to the shops, restaurants, sea, playground.. We had a lovely stay, my family and I were so happy with what we get. Apartment was very roomy, balcony was a bonus :) we just needed to buy a cloth. We definitely recommending Real marina residence :)

Overall very good, clean and spacious appartment in a good location.

Apartment was very spacious and perfect for our stay.

The sofa was solid and not very comfortable, the kitchen had some strangely design ventilation blinds which did not keep the cold out.
