Service was friendly and great. Hotel is aged. Room wasn’t vacuumed well.

We booked a night here for a baseball tournament for my 12-year-old. It is an older facility with a few updates. The room was nice. The towels weren't clean, which was a bummer. The pool closed rather early, but it is understandable because there are some rooms right off of the pool.

Rooms were clean. When we realized our air conditioning wasn’t working, they fixed it right away and made sure we were comfortable! We enjoyed the breakfast.

I am a repeat guest & find this hotel a good value with my physically handicapped mother in a wheelchair. Depending on where your room is, you might have a bit of a stroll through the large property but in the atmosphere is nice & it’s still easy. Parking is ample with clean & comfortable rooms.
It’s unfortunate that the pandemic closed the restaurant & bar there. The hotel does not reach its potential without those (separate) businesses open, which is disappointing but not the hotel’s fault.

I have to say staff did a great job.

Would have been a 5 star if the bed wasn’t so hard and if the sink had hot water

Would stay here again. Dated property but clean and in a decent area.

The staff was incompetent!!!
They messed up my dates and tried to blame me for it!!!
The places to eat nearby are limited, therefore we were forced to drive a distance each time just to get a decent meal!
The gas station across the street only has regular, not unleaded, therefore we had to drive a distance if we wanted more gas to keep driving for meals and etc.!!!
There are more WITCHES working on staff than people checking in & out the rooms!
One of the witches STAYED on our floor, pretending to clean the exact same rooms on the left, the right, and across from us EVERYDAY but was actually trying to steal our food, hydration, and finances, and FAILED EVERY TIME!!! She was more ANNOYING & STUPID than anything!!!
The rooms are big, spacious, and nice.
The hotel's old world charm theme inside is beautiful.
But the staff... ARE NOT SO GREAT!!!
They need more work & training in HOSPITALITY and less on SORCERY and VOODOO!

Hotel is old and needs updating. The elevators were broken, and since we were on the third floor it was super inconvenient.Bathroom was very small and needed a good cleaning. There weren’t enough towels and washcloths in our room. We were in a three bed suite. The pool deck was dirty and the fountain feature was not turned on or was broken.
The hotel staff was friendly.

The staff were very courteous and knowledgeable about the area. They went to extra mile to make you feel comfortable. The pool area like excellent. The room was clean. They are updating my hotel and it is going to be beautiful when they’re done. Great distance from the capital building.

It’s old and outdated. The property could use some major upgrades and the staff is lazy.

The property is located downtown Topeka and easy access back to I-70. It has a beautiful lobby and hangout area.
The building is old and you can tell by the wallpapers peeling off the walls.

This place has really gone downhill since the last time I stayed here. My room key didn’t work, many of the rooms are now apartments and the bar is now closed. I should have stayed somewhere else.

The hallways and room are just old looking and run down. My mattress caved in slightly and you could hear the springs. It needed to be replaced a decade ago it sounded like. It was just grungier and older than I felt it should be for a convention center and the price it cost.

1 staff rude
1 staff very helpful
I requested an early check in a day in advance and was “granted it”. I called the morning off just to double check before I got on the road to come into Topeka and was “ensured” I’d be ok. Arrived only to be told there was no early checkin for me. My room was ready but it wasn’t “inspected/ green light” yet. I waited 3 hours and still wasn’t able to check in. How long does it take to “inspect” a ready room.
I won’t be staying here again.

Staff was very friendly! Room was a bit outdated. The breakfast was good- I heard that they were in the process of getting a waffle machine for those lovers of waffles haha. I didn’t really utilize the amenities but they seemed to have a bit like a pool and an arcade for the kiddos. I really enjoyed how close the hotel was to historic places.

We found our room to be clean and nice. Desk clerk very welcoming. Large space as is near convention center.

This hotel was very disappointing. It is in need of serious refurbishing. The toilet ran 24/7. Many of the doorjambs on the doors in the 100 numbered rooms where damaged and not repaired and repainted. The breakfast buffet food was cold (eggs, potatoes, etc) and the dining area was dark as a tomb. The staff were friendly. I will think twice before booking at a Ramada Hotel in the future.

Had a terrible check in experience, 1 of our rooms was given to another guest who happened to have same last name . We were treated like it was our fault , and only after checking cctv was the mistake uncovered . Front desk person quite rude and no apology’s offered .

This place looks like you entered the 1980s. Staff - super nice!! Great people. Should have been in the 60-80 range. But it was 140 so I expected a decent hotel. 1 night. Nothing was nice here. Carpets were stained and old, everything was old. So much so I’m confused on where they order replacements. Even the shower head - think old tan plastic like your gmas old rotary phone, surprised there wasn’t one. This is not a joke. The alarm clock was the same as my dads when I was young, in 1990. They have a bath tub shower, I haven’t seen that in a pricier hotel…ever. Now to mention after I booked and checked in they asked for a card. Normal. Now that card was charged 50. So I’m in 200 for this twilight zone hotel. I’d recommend your own sheets if you can get this place below 80.

Check-in smooth, fast & accommodating! Beautiful inside & out. Free breakfast delicious & filling!

This hotel suited our purposes for a quick one night stay. The rooms are outdated and kinda grimy in the corners, you know, like it hadn’t been deep cleaned or updated in years. The property is not well lit at night but security is present on grounds and the hotel appears to be locked down for safety purposes.

Our room was dirty, there were several cockroaches in the bathroom, left earlier than expected due to dirtiness

Breakfast is no good. Pool is not in good condition.. they don’t run the waterfall anymore. Hot tub hasn’t worked for over a year. FIX IT PLEASEEEE. The breakfast needs changed completely. Pubes all over bathroom floor.

Neither the bar or the restaurant were in operation during our stay. There was a good amount of grassy area for dog walking. Staff was friendly and breakfast buffet was good. AC was good and our room was comfortable when it was 107 outside.

The lobby of this hotel was beautiful! Once we got to our floor there were a ton of stains on the floor and it just looked dirty. It also smelled like cigarette smoke pretty heavily. Was only there one night so it wasn’t to bad to deal with.

Has a nostalgic center court. Rooms were very clean.

One of the elevators were down so that was a little wait. Other than that the stay was great

Our bathroom had mold in the shower and under the toilet.
