This is the best resort I’ve ever been to in a long time. Jaime at the beach is one of the most educated and amicable person that has ever attended at Beach. He recognizes us by name every time we go and the front desk always greets us as if we belong there.

Room wasn’t ready and they said they would call and me and wife waited 45 Minutes and no one called. So when I finally went to the desk ...they said owe it's really like they didn't just wait 45 minutes without a anyone calling. I felt like there was no customer service or like it was my fault no one called me.

Perfect location. Great service. Family friendly. Pool was great, Loved that it was heated. Room/suite was spacious. Balcony view was spectacular. Overall great and beautiful resort. Thanks Lago Mar :) We had a great time. Happy kids = happy parents!

Loved our stay here - relaxing and super kid friendly. The restaurant backed to the park so the kids could play, the pool was awesome and the beach was great with umbrella rentals. Added bonus - free laundry that we used before heading out on our cruise!

Great location to spend the night before Cruise ship departure. Excellent restaurant, and beautiful beach. We only stayed one night but everything was perfect. $ 20 uber ride to cruise terminal.

Nice beach. Clean. Nice rooms. Friendly staff. Food is good at the restaurants. Quiet. It's remote so it's a ride away to a grocery store or to other restaurants.

Greatly enjoyed the beautiful property and all the amenities. However, the area while beautiful is not walkable. Its in a beautiful residential area and you need a car or a car service to get to outside restaurants/etc. Otherwise its absolutely heaven on earth!

We had some trouble with the payment while checking out.The lady has put another amount on the credit card than the bill said.We have to complain and get the money back from the credit card Company.

Lago Mar Beach resort Was a great place to stay. The staff were extremely friendly. We arrived early, a room wasn't ready but they let us use the facility until a room was ready. Super nice of their staff.

Dinner dining experience and meal quality were excellent. Breakfast buffet was disappointing. Limited fresh fruit options. Housekeeping staff appeared to be unhappy in their work and disinterested in customer service.

Wonderful resort with a huge beach, two pools, lots of fun activities for everyone including mini golf, pickle ball, ping pong and shuffleboard. We had an amazing dinner at Acquarino restaurant. Great service. Great and friendly staff.

The shift in staff was a big difference. The first two days of our stay before our cruise was wonderful and the staff were great. The day we returned from our cruise and stayed one day the staff were not up to par. Sorry for the truth but the staff on the second time we were there needs some training on customer service. Over all the property and location was terrific

Jerry who works the front desk is a gem for this resort to have. He went out of his way to help to make our stay a pleasure as my husband had a rather bad fall at the FLL airport. I saw him interact with the other guests and he was so kind and accommodating.

Really beautiful resort. Staff experiences were mostly excellent but a few moments of surprising lack of customer centric behaviour Cleaning staff are incredible Would prefer more variety in dining options. Soda Shop should really be open until very late for snacks

Our visit was a return stay but only for one night. We arrived early and our room was ready despite us arriving early. We were a family of 4 and the beds and towels etc were all provided accordingly (often have to ask for the 3rd & 4th set). The room was spotless. Pool was a little chilly. Ate at the pool bar for dinner and the Main restaurant for breakfast and the food and service were both excellent

Was shocked to see cockroaches in the bathroom Lago mar has always been one of if not the premiere resort in ft lauderdale I guess everthing has change since the pandemic

Service is outstanding but this properties rooms definitely need updating. Was a gem in its hay day, and grounds well maintained. Clean but still stuckbin the 70s/80s.

Beautiful grounds, pool and beach. Restaurant was delicious. Property provides everything you need to relax and play. The room was large and comfortable and provided everything we needed. Service was excellent! We will definitely be back for a longer stay!

From the time you walk in till you leave the staff here is outstanding. Pool and beach Manager is always making sure you have everything you need. The pool bar service is fantastic. You can’t go wrong with choosing Lago Mar!

It was our first year anniversary and we did a staycation here. The hotel is the perfect location. The pools and the beach were great . The food at the pool and main dining room was good. Our suite was right next to the elevator and we couldn’t sleep i because we heard the loud elevator Every time someone used it . You could tell that the staff has been here for a long time Most were very friendly but a few were a little angry like they didn’t want to be there .
