The weather was just turning hot, the view was amazing from our room from the sitting balcony. The hotel room is fit for a short or long stay. Mini fridge and coffee maker no microwave. They have drink machines on the floor but no vending. They do have some snacks and games at front desk. Amazing breakfast every morning. A indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi it closes at 9pm a mini golf course on grounds. Close to all shopping and restaurants. Overall we really loved our stay and went back a few weeks later to stay the night same great experience in another room.

Nice spot, very friendly and laid back. Near everything and a good value.

Hotel is older but the view of mountains was the best. Pool area doesn’t have enough chairs and room itself could have been warmer. My kids were freezing 10 min into swimming. Faucet in the room was old style and my kids couldn’t use it at all. I understand it’s an older hotel but little things like that could be changed easily. Overall it was a great stay and we are booked for summer again already.

It’s nice that the place is off the main drag. The room was very large. The comments I read about this place They felt it was dated. I can see it but I didn’t think it was bad. The hot tub was more like a soaking tub. Maybe 2 jets worked? Overall would stay again.

Bathrooms could use a deep cleaning especially under rim of toilet but otherwise a great stay.

We were made to feel very welcome. The staff was helpful with things to do in the surrounding area.

The staff was wonderful.
Unfortunately the breakfast was less than great. We went to the complimentary breakfast for 3 days, and the choices were the same. The eggs were awful. They were dry and did not look appetizing never mind tasted good.
The hotel itself could use some TLC. The carpet, walls, and paint need an update.
We were issued one key and the deadbolt on some rooms didn’t work and/or didn’t have one.
Time to get with the times.

Room was really old, tv was tiny and difficult to watch from the bed. Bathroom shower had mold on the ceiling. Parking lot is as far away from hotel.

This hotel is in dire need of renovations and a more customer service oriented staff. The shower was broken in the room, and instead of being offered another room (there were plenty of vacancies), we had to wait until noon the following day for it to be fixed. According to the desk staff, this was common there.
Even worse you can walk right into the hotel from any entrance without a key, nothing is locked. This is true at all hours of the night. Extremely unsafe considering the weekend we were there was the weekend of the mass shootings in Maine and other hotels in town were in soft lockdown.
Overall, very dingy and dirty. The pictures are not indicative of the current condition. Very unfortunate as you can tell it was a nice property at one time.

Assigned a lower room that flooded through the ceiling from the toilet above late at night. We called the desk and they had us come get a key to another room and move... no one offered any help or even came to see! Next day we realized we didn't have one of our toothbrushes- an expensive electric toothbrush. We were told that they'd call look for it and call us. No one called. Next day I called again to see if it was found. No response for a solid week. Then they finally called to say they had it and asked for my credit card for shipping charges. I asked if they were serious! They were going to make me pay to get it back after betting shuffled in the middle of the night due to toilet water coming in on us. I was stunned. The manager then told me she would mail it without my card and that she was sorry for our trouble. That was three weeks ago now and nothing. Not only were they rude every step of the way, made a bad situation worse, but they have no integrity at all.

If you need to bring your dog, it's an okay place (being able to open a back door right out onto grass is nice), but it's old with a tiny television, noisy fridge and noisy AC/heat unit.
Had to park a country mile from the entrance.
Breakfast was fair.

Small TV was only thing I didn’t like

Nice area. Friendly staff. The beds are not comfortable at all.it was close to all the shopping and attractions.

The property is old and needs serious updating. The room had an unusual odor as soon as we entered. The staff quickly sent the room freshener but this did not do the trick. The bathroom shower head is in need of replacement. All in all location is great but I would not recommend given multiple other options in the area

Outside lighting on the property. Many of the lights from the parking area didn't work. Anyone could walk in at any time because the outside doors didn'y lock. The bathrooms bneed to be updated. (The toilets and tubs) We have stayed there over the years often, but we were didsappopinted this time. By the way it was continental breakfast, so why was the table next to us eating eggs, sausage and homefries?

Paid in full for 5 rooms in advance for the property through hotels . Com.
Upon arrival they had no record of payment.
Required me to pay a second time and attempt to get a refund from hotels. Com.

The breakfast was not very good. There were small fruit flies in the room. There was also a large stain on the carpet in the room. Other than those things, we loved our stay.

No frills, family friendly option near Storyland and Outlets. Not the fanciest option but clean and worked great for our long weekend. Convenient porch with chairs, mini golf was fun and the indoor pool was a bit hit. We didnt get to the game room, outdoor pool/games or the playground but was awesome to have them as options. Location is very convenient to many food and shopping options.
Cons - Parking is further from the building than I would like but the drop off area was helpful. Driveway could use a bit more light and more than one key per room would be better.

The property was very clean. The breakfast area was the best that we had in a three week trip. We complemented the staff. Two complaints. The walls are extremely thin. The room next-door had the TV on all night loud. They stayed out on their room porch late in the evening talking loud. No concern for anyone else. In the room above us I heard the guy snoring all night long and when he went to the bathroom three times FYI stay on the second floor and no elevator. An older property but has great views. The parking lot is away from the building and you’re not allowed to park on the driveway you’ll be fined. There is not enough lighting from the parking area which is a distance away to the building.

Fox Ridge has been there for a long time. It is an older facility but it is well maintained. It could use an update, some new carpeting in particular, but overall it is a very pleasant place to stay that is family friendly.

This place is outdated and needs a good cleaning. The pool has so much chlorine it feels like your skin is melting off of your bones. Other than that the place is fine.
