Stayed here twice.Great place to stay on a budget. Close to everything including freeway. Clean.Easy parking.Helpful staff. I have very little criticism about this place. My only feedback...beds could be way softer. Numbers on the room are small, this makes it hard to see when you are looking for your room especially at night. Overall..this is a repeat for me.

Liked the new updates to bathroom & sink area. Breakfast was disapointing. The new hot breakfast offered was unimpressive. What was offered were powdered eggs, bagels, crissants, juice & coffee. The room was tiny with no place to manuver. The room used when they served the continental breakfast was larger. Other than the breakfast, we had an enjoyable stay….

I thought this was a good hotel for a quick trip. Would I appreciate is that I could park right outside of my door. The weekday prices were super reasonable. I would definitely change the beds. The mattresses were a little bit older and not very comfortable. Also the name originally gave me the feeling that it was going to be a sketchy Hotel when in fact it has a spa feel to it. The logo in the name need to be changed. It looks like it was very recently updated. When the weekend hit my rates went up. When I checked the higher end hotels in the area the price was almost the same for weekends so if you're coming to town on a Friday Saturday or Sunday it might be better to look at the Hilton or days inn. The pricing is the same. If you're traveling on the weekdays this would be your best bet in terms of pricing and comfort. It's really close to the freeway so it's easy to get in and out of places. Starbucks is right down the street and there's a breakfast restaurant next door with great food.

We were pleasantly surprised at the accommodations for the price.

The room was nice but we were very disappointed with the breakfast. We were told that the manager did not order supplies because he wanted to make sure they were out of everything so we ended up with a bagel and soggy sausages..I stayed there before and enjoyed a better breakfast.. We had two young boys so ended up at the restaurant next door,

It was an amazing room bang for my buck. The shower was great and so was the water pressure. The breakfast was perfect and had options between eggs and bacon to yogurts and breads.

Walls are paper thin, breakfast was pretty poor, staff was semi-friendly. The decor in the room was cute and the room was clean, but that’s about all it has going for it.

The employees were welcoming and efficient. The room was clean and generous sized. Amenities in the room were fine. The pool and spa were nice. The mattresses were exceptionally firm which made for a lousy nights sleep but to be fair, so are most hotel beds. The worst was our next door neighbor who smoked a prodigious amount of weed and coughed right outside our door which allowed lots of stink right through. He must live there because he smokes in his room also. He came out in the morning and a huge cloud of stink came in our open door. So much my wife thought I had smoked in there. If that doesn't bother you then the Sandman is a perfectly fine place to stay. Except for the beds.

Excellent amenities , well appointed and arranged, very fresh and clean. Comfortable . The complimentary breakfast was excellent.

A map locating the room in this four building facility given at the check-in would be helpful, as the room numbers are so tiny they are invisible passing by to locate .

This hotel is very nicely kept. From the front desk service, room cleanliness, modern look, breakfast, it was a very comfortable stay for a reasonable price. If I’m in the area in the future, I’ll definitely stay again.

It was very clean, well appointed and kitchen area had everything we needed, even a tea pot. Evan (I think his name is) at front desk very friendly and efficient checked us in. Will definitely stay again when we visit family in Santa Rosa. It looked very inviting but didn't have time to enjoy the gym and pool but will plan to stay longer next time!

I chose this place based on the price, location, and perceived value from the pictures. It definitely did not disappoint. I was surprised by the size of the room and how nice it is. The continental breakfast was a nice surprise as well (kinda like a continental plus). I didn't get to see the pool but the lounge was cool (where they hold the breakfast). It's a bit small and could probably use more tables and chairs but I can't complain. If I were to come back to Santa Rosa for another weekend visit, I would stay here again.

Stayed for one night. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, didn’t use anything else but there wasa flat TV, microwave, toaster oven and a mini fridge. Tried going to the lobby but it was closed. Check in staff was friendly. I would stay there again.

Everyone was really nice. Saul the bartender was extremely friendly and just made us feel extremely welcomed! He was very sweet with my children, which is hard to come by nowadays. What a great employee you have. Chris and Monique Lagomarsino

we like staying at the Sandman because it is close to my husband's eye doctor. The only thing I wish you would do is get rid of the old carpet and put in laminate flooring. The carpets are old and awful.

Rooms very clean and nice. A little overpriced but would stay there again.

The shades were leaking light into the room. The bed was horribly hard. The shower and the faucet water pressure was anemic. The insulation from the other rooms' noises was nonexistent. Over all thank god it was only one night. The top blanket was too small for two people. Steven

Cool vibe in the room, though the bed was slightly squishy for an old guy like me. Staff were friendly and professional. Tap water tasted like it was chemically, maybe because they recently remodeled and parts were new, so would have liked some water bottles or filtered water around. Otherwise an affordable and comfortable place to stay in Santa Rosa.

Great besides early rising guests making noise without respect for sleeping guests.

Beautifully remodeled clean room with a super comfy bed, nice carpet, great TV with many channels, fridge, microwave and a very nice bath/shower. Very good free breakfast buffet too!

The front desk is under-staffed - only one representative there. When we checked it, we waited there for more than 30min (honestly, not many people were in line but the process was rather slow).
After 30+min wait at check-in, we found out that the room was not cleaned at standards. The bed was not made properly and a tower was found on the bathroom floor. There was still trash in the trash bin.

The walls were a bit thin so we could hear outside noises but everything was neat and clean upon arrival and staff was kind

Best value in the area. Newly remodeled, comfortable stay.

Good place to stay in a great location. Only issues: coffeemaker and clothes iron were broke.

This is my second stay there in the last few weeks and will probably be staying again in the near future. It is a little difficult to find the first time because it is hard to see the sign. The breakfast is fine because I take it and go. The towels are one of the best things.

They are pet friendly which makes me very happy. And their rooms are clean and comfortable, just a really nice place to stay.

Nice room with your typical amenities. Very spotless and I love the design. Check in service is good as well. I just wish they had a bathtub instead of a lousy shower. It’ll be nice to relax in the bathtub after a long drive. That’s my only complaint. Other than that this hotel is great.

Very simple small rooms. I'm a minimalist when it comes to hotels. Room smelled so good. Nostalgic highway 50s motel vibe with nice shower and amenities. Breakfast wasn't anything to write home about but I'm not a "continental breakfast" type
