Stay was short, but very comfortable and reasonably priced. Close to airport, and a number of restaurants, and the Farodome.

We had to get up at 3 am to catch a 5 am flight. We were able to get some sleep early in the evening. Very thankful for the quiet.

I'll start with the bed - it was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. Pillows were great too.
Barhroom was very small because of how small it was you had to shut the door to curl your hair or the cord kept getting stuck under the door.
The coffee pot wasn't washed from previous stay. I grabbed a mug from the cupboard and used it, but when I went to pour in the next mug it was so dirty I almost threw up. Like old hot chocolate powder all over it. Wish I would have grabbed that one 1st!
And when sitting on the bed you could see how dirty and dusty the floor was in front of the kitchen vanity area.
The staff was extremely friendly, but could do nothing for me because I booked through Expedia.
This is the second time this has happened. I will really have to.consider booking through the hotel themselves from now on.

Lisa at the front desk was amazing. We arrived after attending a funeral followed by a four hour drive. She recognized right away that my husband has a disability and changed our room to accommodate our needs. She also gave us a bereavement discount. She was friendly, yet professional and very attentive to our situation. What an asset she is to your company!

Needs an ice machine. The ones in the refrigerator only makes a couple pieces in an hr. Not enough to do anything with. Also the shower doesn’t have very much water pressure.

Friendly staff. Clean and i liked all the extra options they had to play board games, watch a movie ect. Also like the little cupboard shop. For snacks and stuff. We weren't there for a football game but those that were very convenient. Tailgating right outside before game and game within walking distance.

The property was convenient and just ok. Check in was quite a process as they are very short staffed. I was first told I could check in early then when I tried to check in they didn’t have the room I booked available and asked me several time to come back in 30 minutes…after an hour and a half and attempts at rooms offered that would not fit our family needs we were finally able to check in. I did get short with the staff and apologized for that as I know they were not fully staffed. I probably would not stay at this property again

When we checked in the hotel we found there was no comforter or blanket for the sofabed. When I spoke to the manager the next morning I was told that this property did not supply comforters for the sofabeds in their suites. In thirty years of travel I have never stayed in a hotel that didn't have proper bedding for a sofabed. When I called IHG they informed me that every Candlewood suites has their own policy for this. This is like going to a restaurant and finding they only have one plate for a table. There were lots of excuses why there were no comforters but it's a hotel, maybe you should keep a few extra?? I found this so utterly hard to believe that I didn't know if I should laugh or cry. So remember if you're staying at a Candlewood Suites you might have a chilly sleep. I won't be staying at this chain again.

Nice clean room, very friendly staff. No dining options on site, but many restaurants in close proximity

My room smelled like a greasy spoon restaurant that allowed smoking. Every time we needed something at the front desk we had to wait. A sign was up saying the clerk would be back soon.

This hotel was perfect. It was close to the blues fest. The employees were fantastic and even picked us up at the airport after midnight. The room was spacious with plenty of towels, etc for our stay. It is clise to airport and the university but everything else is a cab ride.

Great hotel and the room was excellent! We needed a kitchen in our room and the one we had was great. The beds were very comfortable and it was a great experience overall. It was also nice to have restaurants close by to get some food and drinks.

Check-in was smooth. Tonya was pleasant and efficient. The room was spacious and comfortable. It had a recliner that i wished I could take with me. I never walk bare foot in a room, but would have been fine with it here. The bed and pillows were just right, too.
Just one little thing. Like many hotels now, the soap, shampoo and conditioner are in dispensers attached to the wall in the shower. Fine for showering, but if you're sitting in the tub, you cannot reach the soap. Not too convenient.

I don't usually leave bad reviews and we travel a lot. Check-in was horrible! After an 11-hour drive we arrived at 1pm and check-in was 3pm. Sometimes you can check in early but I understand we had to wait. I asked the girl if there was anything that we could do to get checked in earlier or make sure our room was ready on time. Did she want my name, anything? She told me no, check-in is at 3pm, come back at 3 and no earlier. She was extremely rude to me to the umpth degree. Very dismissive We had two small dogs with us, so we just hung outside around the car and waited. I went back at 3pm, there was a room full of people waiting and I got in line. There was a new person at the desk. When I gave my name she said our room still wasn't ready. I asked what I could have done, and she said I should have check-in on the mobile app. Nothing was sent about a mobile app check-in, nor did the 1pm girl say anything. When I asked how long, she said she didn't know. I went back up a half-hour later. I frustratingly asked for a number to complain, explaining how tired we were and the room wasn't ready at check-in. She told me a cleaning person called off and were short staffed. She then turned to her co-worker and said, "I just came down to see the flower delivery and I get stuck with this." We finally got our room. Room was decent and clean. Staff ruined our two night stay. If I didn't pre-pay, I would have left. Staff was worst I've ever seen! Very unfriendly too!

I like the more complete breakfast than what they have but the food is sufficient. I love the size of the rooms and the cooking amenities; like microwave and cooktop. It’s a convenient place to stay.

First off, I am a very frequent traveler. I have never been asked “What is the reason for your stay” followed by “What do you do”. There are alternative ways to ask the same questions. Perhaps what she meant to say was “are you traveling on business or pleasure”. Perhaps she might have asked “May I ask your occupation?”. Those are just my suggestions if anyone is actually interested, but I feel these too are a bit intrusive and absolutely no one’s business. I guess we have all just been reduced to marketing data nowadays, but I felt very unwelcome visiting this property.

The manager Abby went above and beyond her duties to get me where I needed to be in a difficult situation! Everyone on staff were so nice and friendly!

I was there only a short night before a flight but I must say they had the Best beds and pillows I've had at any hotel in a very long time.
Only draw back for me was I thought there was breakfast provided free but there was only food for purchase and a microwave.

Positives . . . check in staff was pleasant, our room was clean and location in relation to VA Hospital was convenient. Negatives . . . mattress was extremely soft and we reserved a handicap room with the bathroom having some of features you associate with handicap access-there is a major however; shower . . . extremely hard (impossible) for a wheel chair individual to access it (utilized standard tub).

They provide a shuttle to and from the airport.

Great staff! Helped me with every question I had. Only concern was the side door of the building was not secured. It kept blowing open. No latch to keep non hotel guests out of the building.

Clean & nice. We stayed for 10 days because we were at the Roger Cancer Center. It was conveniently located & we could cook in the room. They also allowed us to checkout later.

The room I stayed in had a coffee maker but it didn't have carafe. The coffee cups didn't fit where the carafe would go. Otherwise it was a good stay.
