Nestled along a serene canal in the amazing city of Jamaica Beach, this beautiful home has over 1400 sq/ft of deck space. With 5 bedrooms and 3 baths, Jamaican Waves is a spacious retreat that comfortably accommodates your family get-together of up to 18 guests in beds, plus a crib for your littlest ones. The two fully equipped kitchens provide ample space for culinary creations, and the stand-alone ice maker ensures refreshing beverages are always at hand. Enjoy your meals on the custom-built hand-sanded wood butcher block dining table, which seats 16 people or you can eat outdoors over the waterfront bar top bringing everyone together in a cozy and inviting atmosphere. You can catch dinner with the provided fishing poles or bait the crab trap to catch some succulent blue crab. Entertainment options abound in this vacation paradise. Each bedroom includes its own television and video gaming system, ensuring everyone can unwind with their favorite shows and games. Choose between two inviting and comfy living rooms to kick back, relax and enjoy a movie on Netflix or other provided channels. You can also stretch out and enjoy a book or improve your bronze beach tan on one of the floating and blissful zero-gravity hanging lounge chairs, creating memories of pure relaxation Venture beyond the back deck, and you’ll discover even more delights. Hop on one of the provided beach cruiser bicycles or the Surrey bike, complete with a shade canopy for your convenience, and explore the nearby store or neighborhood pub. Embrace your inner grill master with multiple propane grills and a 4-burner flat-top grill for mouthwatering barbecues. Challenge your friends to a thrilling game of shuffleboard or outdoor bowling and create memories with endless laughter and good competition. Other thoughtful additions include a fish cleaning station for the avid angler and don’t forget the private backyard dock for your boat or waver runner. The beautiful community of Jamaica Beach has a boat launch where you can load and unload your watercraft, located at the end of our street. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 9 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 1. Security camera details: There are 4 cameras at the home, one on each side of the house. They do not record sound. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. We rented this house during the bike rally Nov 1-4, 2023. Pros: clean, easy check in, games and fishing/kayaking, location. Cons: Had to combine stuff from both kitchens to cook meals for the larger group. The hot tub is small! 4 person max, more comfortable with 2 or maybe 3. For a house that holds so many people that was a big bummer. But the bigger issue was it was broken! The first night it started off warmish (101 degrees) but after less than an hour in it had dropped several degrees and the screen just said EC (error code). I messaged the hosts to report both this AND a broken toilet upstairs that wouldn't fill after flushing due to a sticky valve. They finally sent someone out the following evening pretty late (fri) who said he "fixed" the hot tub. No attempt to fix the toilet we just had to manually pull the valve up in the tank every time we used it. Tried to use the hot tub a few hours later and it was the same. Messaged the repair guy back and he said to just unplug it and plug it back in. Well obviously that didn't work, just like it didn't work when he did it. Messaged management again and they said they would get back to me, which they never did. Messaged them at the time of checkout to request a partial refund as the hot tub was the main reason we selected this house and was told someone woukd get back to me. Messaged them again over 2 WEEKS later - again told someone would get back to me. Here we are a month post checkout with no response and no refund 😕

This house was perfect for a large family with two separate living areas. It is really like two entire houses with one upstairs and one down. Loved all the games, kayaks, and patio downstairs. I also appreciated ALL the linens! I think this is the first time I have stayed in a rental that had more towels, blankets, and sheets than I needed. I stayed 3 nights with 9 people.

This house was perfect for a large group with mixed ages. Everyone had a great time. There was so much to do at the house, so it was perfect for downtime. The location directly on the canal was nice & the proximity to the beach was east to get to. Everything that we could think to need was provided. Unfortunately our biggest complaint was that the downstairs A/C did not work at all. It got hotter each day & made it very uncomfortable to even be in. Having to walk up & down to cook due to the heat in the downstairs kitchen even while grilling was a pain. There seemed to be a small ant issue in one of the downstairs bedrooms. (The one with the arcade games.) Overall this house was everything it claimed to be, even better than the pictures. We stay in a lot of rental properties & this was our favorite!
