Situated in Frankfort, this attractive house for £86 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This is a beautifully decorated and very well cared-for home in a great location just a few blocks from downtown Frankfort, Frankfort Beach, and Lake Michigan. The location is also very quiet and safe! It has 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, a full-size kitchen, a dining room, a washer and dryer, a backyard deck with dining table and chairs, a new propane grill, and a very nice backyard with a backyard fire ring and chairs. It is truly an exceptional home that provides for a great vacation! I live in Frankfort and am available as needed. Frankfort has a beautiful Main Street that runs along Betsie Lake and ends at Frankfort Beach and Lake Michigan. The vibrant downtown has lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants to explore. The house is located just north of downtown. It is about a 5 minute walk to downtown Frankfort, Frankfort Beach, and Lake Michigan from the house. The house is also just a 20-minute drive from the start of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Guests have access to the entire house, except for the basement which is locked off for storage of personal items. In terms of technology, the home is equipped with 400 Mbps high-speed Wi-Fi. There is also a newer Roku television with live digital streaming. Hulu provides the equivalent of cable channels and Pure Flix, Netflix, Disney+, and HBOMax are available on the television as well. The house is available for rent year-round as it has a forced-air furnace using nature gas. Although it does not have air-conditioning, this vacation home generally stays pleasantly cool in the summer given its proximity to Lake Michigan. There are also lots of fans in the house (including one in each bedroom) if needed. There are It is truly an exceptional home in a fantastic location for exploring Frankfort, Lake Michigan, and all that northwest Michigan has to offer! The Benzie Bus does provide public transportation, but it is recommended to have your own vehicle.

The property manager, Jean was fantastic! She was readily available to answer questions and arrange for repair service within 24 hours (leak under kitchen sink). The ranch style cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood and is within walking distance to town. It requires the ability to walk down/up a steep winding hill, but there is an off road path. The kitchen is stocked fairly well with dishes, cutlery, and cookware. The back yard is shaded with a ground level deck. A gas grill is available for use. Plenty of room for dogs to roam. Plenty of clean towels, linens, etc available for use. The house does not have an air conditioner, but it is rarely needed. The major drawback of the cottage is the poor condition of the mattresses in each of the three bedrooms. The two queen mattresses are both well used, forming places that sink, making a good nights sleep impossible. The two twin mattresses do not have any box springs (it is a trundle bed), making it very difficult for an adult to sleep comfortably. Please note that the overall rating of 2 stars is only due to the condition of all of the mattresses (causing back pain and lack of sleep). If the mattresses had been adequate, the overall rating would easily have been 5 stars.

This space was perfect for our family of teenagers and dog. Enough space for everyone in a quiet neighborhood, very very clean, and a seamless check-in and check-out process. Our host made us feel welcome and the space was well appointed with sheets and towels. Definitely would stay here again.

Nice quiet location after busy days. Close to beach, town, and lighthouses and major areas of interest. Nice home with open floor plan, nice yard, kitchen well stocked for cooking and bbq. Outside of home needs exterminator. Screens on windows for which their missing need replaced.

We had a lovely time in Frankfort. The cottage was clean, well furnished and close to the beach. The fire pit, grill, and washer/dryer were nice additions. This rental could be improved by having a hair dryer, and towel racks in the bathrooms.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our initial first impression was how clean everything was. We enjoyed the open floor plan, the comfortable beds, the quiet and convenient location, and the nice linens. We would definitely stay again.
