Good value for money if you plan to stay in Chinatown.

The room was quite small and no-frills, in line with expectations. Concerning the location, it was excellent for me but be aware that Chinatown is a peculiar district, not everyone might like it. Some noise from the nearby trains is decently isolated and did not prevent a good sleep. Friendly personnel.

The location in Chinatown was a plus for me, but might represent a problem for others. No safe available in room. No fridge in room but there is a shared one in the basement.

Meet all our needs! Staff was helpful.

The hotel meet all our expectations. It was safe, clean and quiet at night. The staff was polite and helpful.

The location was a little farther than we wanted. We spent a lot of time trekking back and forth. The room might have been the smallest room ever. It was perfectly nice, clean, just micro size.

The hotel was very convenient both to the subway and buses. They staff went out of their way to assist you, giving recommendations of places to see and places to eat and give you maps to help you get around.. Highly recommend this Hotel. Lovely little spots to eat in..

Comfortable, friendly, recommended

We had the best welcome I've probably ever had in a hotel. We were given very clear instructions on checkout, room cleaning, and a great list of local restaurants (we tried a few of them and they were great and we would never found them by ourselves). We stored our bags before leaving (a very generous 12:00 p.m. check out but our flight wasn't until the evening) and upon pickup were asked if we wanted to use the facilities. The bed was one of the most comfortable in a hotel I have slept in. I slept so well for the three nights we were there. Good shower and clean room. Close to the subway, the Brooklyn bridge and in Chinatown. It was one of the only options which had twin beds for a reasonable price in New York city. Would definitely stay here again.

The train is near so you can slightly hear it every so often.

Superb

the room was nice, cozy, very clean and quiet, nice bathroom with a hair dryer and all cosmetics you need, staff was really nice and helpful, I received lists of nearby restaurants they recommend for breakfast, dinner or late dining etc. that saved me a lot of time on research, location is good, very close to the East Broadway station. I would definitely recommend Mimosa to everyone!

room is really small and it is hard to even open a suitcase, heating is central for the entire floor and you have to ask on the reception to increase / decrease a temperature

Okay but nothing special

Size of room (it was difficult to even open a suitcase inside), it is ok for one night, cannot imagine staying there longer, for the price we paid there were bigger hotels in a nicer neighbourhood

It was a nice, safe, clean, friendly place.

The staff was very nice and helpful. They held our bags for us since we arrived early, and even brought them up to the room for us when our room was ready. Everything was clean and comfortable.

A little pricey for the size of the room. But not too terrible compared to other NYC hotels.

It was small like most NYC hotel rooms, but had EVERYTHING I needed including bathroom essentials I did not not expect. Definitely will stay over again if I need a room in NYC.

Very secure hotel..front desk actually monitors cameras in the building and came to basement vending machines to offer assistance. also, front door to lobby of building is locked at night.

Great location, the stuff was extremely kind and helpful. I loved that they had umbrellas to be used by their guests. They had tons of recommendations for breakfast, brunch, and dinner

A place with style. If you want to explore the Lower Manhattan and Chinatown, everything is in the walking distance. We loved the food in Chinatown, the sunrise on Brooklyn Bridge.

Perfect stay.

Hotel Mimosa. Positives: 1. The staff and owner. Very helpful and friendly. The owner was on site every day we were there (3 day weekend) and asked for our feedback and offered his advice for anything we asked. We had a concern when we arrived and checked into one of our rooms. The staff addressed the concern that night and the Owner followed up that morning when we were leaving to make sure we were totally satisfied. 2. Cleanliness. The hotel is clean. It is not fancy but very nice and the feeling is clean. Sometimes you go into a hotel room (or your child’s) and you don’t feel clean. Our rooms were clean. No trash or debris on site. 3. Rooms. Water pressure and hot water were excellent every time we used the shower. Double windows helped to keep out noise. Heating was good. Lighting was good. The restroom was nice. Again nothing fancy. Just clean and working. All of the Toiletries supplied was a bonus (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, comb, toothbrushes, toothpaste, lotion….!). So awesome to have these provided. And a floor fan for extra heating or cooling as needed. 4. The Beds. The Beds! Very comfortable. We are very picky about beds and typically have some negative comments about beds but these beds were very comfortable. We did not miss our beds at home (that much). I think I even snored less in this bed! 5. Location. Great for Chinatown, Soho, Brooklyn, really all of lower Manhattan. And with ride services, subways etc you can access any borough easily. We walked to most places within a mile or so at all times of the day. 6. Other stuff. Bottle water sold at the desk for $1. Not overpriced like most hotels. Ice and vending in basement. Staff at the desk 24 hours.

Very friendly staff, very clean facilities. A very convenient extra was that you could leave your luggage for the day!

Although very good soundproofing, there was some noise from the trains passing nothing earplugs cannot solve and you could not control the temperature in the room, so sometimes becomes too hot!

A no frills, clean, affordable great place.

Great restaurant recommendations. Very warm welcome from staff member William. So much within walking distance. We wanted a location in Chinatown. Met all our expectations.
