Beautiful place

Hotel is absolutely gorgeous, secluded quite location, you can see and hear the ocean everywhere, it’s magnificent! You are literally living on the beach. Dinner at the Scarpetta restaurant is delicious, worthy of a Michelin star restaurant in Manhattan, their chef and the team are outstanding! Breakfast and lunch are also great, pretty much everything on the menu is superb quality! Safe to say that their people do an incredible job at the hotel. Spa is lovely, pool is large and the sauna/steam room area with diving pools of different temperatures are just a great place to relax. Gets pretty busy on weekends, but weekdays are perfect. The place is a gem and there is nothing like it in Montauk or anywhere near.

Beautiful place, great location, great staff, excellent spa!

Great location, great amenities, once you park your car there’s really no reason to leave the property.

Very large property, lots of stairs, hills and uneven ground to traverse if your unit is not central to the main building. Also some of the stair cases were unlit, not very safe when walking at night. if you have a disability or elderly, you should definitely request an accessible unit. Long wait for property vehicle for transportation around the property.

I had a wonderful experience at Gurney's, I celebrated my bestfriend birthday here an it was amazing everything went well no disappointments..The staff very nice, the spa is breath taking had a great massage 💆‍♀️..the room big, clean and have a beautiful view, The food at the restaurant is good...I'll definitely come back!!

A fantastic stay at an oceanfront room!

Overall, our experience at the hotel was fantastic. We spent 3 night in total, 2 in an oceanfront room and 1 in an ocean view room. The Oceanfront rooms (we stayed at the 3 story building on the east side) were absolutely fantastic. Great views of the ocean, beach access, quiet, clean and comfortable bed and room. We had a great relaxing time in this room and it was well worth the price. We had great runs and walks on the beach which is miles long ini each direction. The fitness center was clean, spacious and functional. We had some nice dinners and lunches (some good vegan and gluten free options too) at the restaurants and around the fire pit at night (Thanks Rafael - you're the best). Overall the staff at the hotel was nice, and professional and help accomodate us when necessary.

The first night we spent in an oceanview room, which was right above the main parking lot, somewhat noisy, with very limited view of the ocean. In our opinion, these room do not justify a stay at the hotel (and the price), despite all the good things above.

location is great.

why is there loud music on the beach and in almost all common areas. The DJ on the beach was way too loud and we had to move rooms. the hotel ls expensive and we came to relax not to party.

It was nice to go to the Ocean.

I liked the spa and the Ocean, staff was friendly.

It was a money pit! I arrived at the Beach wanted to rent the tent they wanted $250,00 for the day and you would need to spend an additional $750.00, That is crazy.

I was treated with no respect by front desk when I complained the loud music from wedding at 1 am.

I was treated with no respect by front desk when I complained the loud music from a wedding hosted at the hotel at 1 am. Front desk said they’re allowed to make noise at midnight by law and suggested me to go ahead calling 911 if I’d like to. Extremely rude and disrespectful.

great if you are cool falling asleep at 2am because you won’t be able to do so before then, too loud

facilities were amazing.

so loud. come in for 1400 a night at least let folk know that there are weddings around the clock and you will not sleep
