Price. Beds were not the most comfortable

Beautiful property overlooking the lake!!
Double room was really big and there was sitting are you could just seat down and relax with glass of wine.
Beds were very comfortable. Staff super friendly. Easy check in!!
This hotel was booked last minute so we paid over $600 per night ( stayed 2 nights)
But it was worth it for us because of many reasons. However we felt breakfast wasn’t good enough unfortunately. Not many options specifically if you have some restrictions in your diet. There were options from the cart but you had to pay for it on the top of $22 for buffet per person.
But we will be back regardless!!!

Gorgeous location and really spacious room with its own sitting area in front of view. Comfortable beds and quiet enough for light sleeper to get some rest.
Would have been nice to get some laundry done.

Loved the grounds and the beautiful plants. The lake was also lovely. Close to town, which was con to shops and restaurants. LOVED THE COOKIES!!!!!
It would have been nice if there were muffins and maybe fruit at the coffee station for people who don"t want a $30 breakfast. Towels at the pool would also would have been nice, just like at the lake. The bar prices are quite steep, one drink was enough for us.

The views were superb and the building lovely
Even though they were pleasent enough we did feel that the reception staff could have helped with booking restrictions and trips for us in the area. They seemed rather worried about everything and had to check with their manager. Getting our coffee sent to our room in a proper cup instead of a disposable one was challenging though!
Very expensive breakfast. Excellent dinner for a special occasion.

Location sscenary breakfast was the best, no phone policy was a little harsh, I had an emergency call and was told to get off my phone and that wasn't appreciated!
Parking is too tight and I ended up backing into one of your bolder and damaged my tailgate , rear quarter panel and tail light on my new 2022 truck, not happy

Location nice; great view of the lake and mountains from our rooms. Could walk to town. Feels a little like you’re roaming around an old relatives house. Which is cozy and pleasant but also there didn’t seem to be a lot of staff.
Went Dec 2021; just before omicron so covid not as overwhelming at that moment. However, there was no room service (somehow this was related to the when we inquired): food delivered in plastic containers in a paper bag. No plates. Tea came with a carafe of hot water and paper cups. Food options not very diverse and not a lot of healthier options at the restaurant by the lake. Bar doesn’t open til 4 so if you want to be cozy by the fire with a little hot toddy after skiing you have to wait til then. Tbh, I just prefer a hotel that is more about “yes” to clients. Frequently felt up against hotel rules and schedule. staff were totally helpless when we needed to get transportation quickly to the mountain. Had 2 taxi service numbers, and I think one was not operating.

It’s a beautiful hotel. We’ve stayed there for over a decade. We’ve never booked through the app before.
I think we got a poor room because we didn’t book directly.
