Way too expensive for what you got. Outdated motel, rude staff, and everybody smoked. Would not recommend this to anyone

Friendly and accommodating owners

Great location in the Crest. The owners’ son was very accommodating and helpful as we arrived late and gave us such a good experience that we will definitely stay here again.

Exceptional

Seachest was truly a treasure. It was a quick walk to the beach and a very clean establishment. The room was very tidy and offered a full size refrigerator, two burner cooktop, a coffee maker and a microwave. This was very helpful as we were able to cook breakfast in the morning and pack a lunch for the beach and then go out to eat at night. It had a wonderful pool and the man and wife were absolutely wonderful. Very friendly. I would definitely come back and recommend for a couples getaway or even a family. Definitely a great find!

John and his wife were wonderful hosts. They put a lot of love into their property and really care about their guests. They accomodated us for an extra night when we arrived and settled us into a larger room than anticipated since we had our daughter. She had a blast on the pool slide. Perfect location just one block from the beach, clean, and quiet in the crest. Would definitely stay here again!

Good place to rest and be close to beach and other places of interest.

Very clean. Bathroom and electric outlets 1950’s. Has grilling outdoors. Pool. Hose for feet washing after beach sand. Close to beach. Good parking.

The convenience was about the only good thing.

No outlets in the bathroom. The toilet was for a kid. No one was available at time of check out. There was a huge fight with other tenants and the owners. Crazy.

Location, pool, cleanliness of room, pool, and grounds. Friendly service, Mostly everything worked properly.

Over priced not fair to families to pay that much. Way outdated, door stuck all the time. Uncomfortable hard beds, and so small.

Clean/Friendly Retro Motel

If you don’t mind basic, then this is the place for you. The rooms by no means are fancy, but clean. The staff (family owned) are very nice and take great pride in their property. There was a large refrigerator in the room and a barbecue grill by the pool for customer use. Very nice gated pool area. with a slide that always clean. There was also a very nice elevated porch area with 2 tables/chairs/umbrellas. There were also ‘sunning’ lounge chairs within the elevated area which were both in view of the pool area so parents can keep an eye on the kids. Also, each room had a small covered area with 2 chairs and a table. Location was 2 blocks from the beach and 4 blocks from a very nice park area on the bay. Neighborhood is very safe and beautifully maintained homes. There is a nice family owned pier where you pay to crab, fish, jet ski, or kayak. I would highly suggest the Sea Chest and will return if ever in the Wildwood area.

There is no daily maid service. Not sure if there is an extra fee (didn’t ask). The plumbing needs upgrading which would benefit both the customer and Motel owners. Very inefficient sink faucets and shower faucet/shower head-wasted water and water pressure can be improved. They supply soap bars but no shampoo which is actually becoming more common in the hotel industry to cut costs since most people bring their own hair products.

The property was lovely I love the brightly colored bedspreads our microwave was dirty when we arrive.

Polish community. Family no owners of the hotel were very pleasant very friendly. But if you’re of color or ethnic I don’t recommend this day when we got in the pool they got out of the pool. Just saying hello

Family owned, kid friendly, clean

The family who runs Sea Chest is lovely. This is definetly more of a 'Mom & Pop' type of place. John and his wife will do anything to make your stay enjoyable. The pool was great, the location was just a block & a half from the beach. Outside eating area was very clean- grill available, ping-pong table, newer furniture. Parking was free and not crowded (we could fully open our car doors!). Kid friendly atmosphere was a plus! Air conditioning in the room worked great. The pictures accurately depict the rooms and amenities.

The motel is definetly dated, but that did not impact our stay!

It was clean and comfortable.

Room and facility was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was friendly. The pool was great.

The office was closed when we arrived. A lady working in the rooms assigned us a room and gave us a key. We never gave her our name? Seemed odd but we were not able to check in until the second day?
