Located in Mount Victoria, this attractive house for £128 per night is a great choice for your next break. Enjoy a digital detox in peaceful bush surroundings. Modern two bedroom cottage with fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, combustion heater (firewood supplied) and air conditioning. Both bedrooms have queen beds with quality linen. There is a very comfortable sofa bed in the lounge. There are bush views from every window and a large deck to enjoy the serenity of the surroundings. You may be lucky to see visiting kangaroos, lyre birds and parrots. There is no TV or WiFi at the property. An easy ten minute walk gets you to local cafes, train station and shops, and a short drive takes you to many Upper Mountains attractions. There are many local lookouts with breath-taking views and access to local bush walks. This is an ideal location to explore the Blue Mountains as well as further afield into Hartley and Lithgow. Well mannered dogs are welcome to visit with their humans. Children welcome, although open stair case is not suitable for toddlers. Special rates: Midweek- stay three nights for the price of two. Stay seven nights for the price of six. Please note that for one night bookings there will be an additional fee of $80 to cover the costs of our cleaner. We do not accept one night stays during school holidays.

Very good accomodation and being pet friendly was great. We only stayed overnight so suited us well. If you’re looking for a longer stay be aware no tv etc and you’ll need to drive to the main attractions etc which isn’t a major issue. Nice and spacious and quiet

Humble, quiet getaway with everything needed for a quick getaway from Sydney. Short few minute drive to local shops and restaurants if needed. The purpose of the stay was more practical due to a local event, but we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing there when we could, whilst being entertained by the overly friendly birdlife. Spacious rooms with all basic amenities at hand in a cabin-style building.

Quiet cottage down a leafy suburban street in Mt Victoria. There is a lovely wide verandah surrounded by gums to relax on. We needed somewhere to stay the night after an evening of firefly spotting at the Cathedral of Ferns on Mt Wilson - a 30 minute drive away. The fireflies appear every December and we were not disappointed! Zoe very kindly allowed us to change our dates and was very easy to communicate with.

We had a great time staying at this cosy retreat in the middle of the bush in Mount Victoria. We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the place, being a mom of 2 little kids that's what I look for when booking a property. It's very close to necessities and all major attractions. We had a great time visiting so many gorgeous places with kids. Best thing for me was to wake up to the beautiful sound of birds and fresh air! Definitely going back with family again! Zoe was a great host and we didn't have any difficulty communicating with her. I thing I would suggest is to keep a review book at the property so that guests can write a little note/review of the beautiful property !

Overall, great value for money. The property is well presented and spacious enough (there were 6 of us) and in a lovely quiet spot nestled in bushland, but easy to get to the highway and not far from Blackheath and Katoomba. Despite the bad weather, we enjoyed being “off grid” without wi-fi, playing board games by the fireplace. We slept well, as the beds are comfortable and the property was easy to heat. A great find!

Our recent stay was an absolute gem. The place was wonderfully cozy, and it had every amenity we could ask for, making our stay very comfortable. Our favorite place was the veranda, perfect to enjoy the sound of birds and the warm sunshine. Even though we couldn't take advantage of the fire due to the hot weather, we can't wait to come back during the winter season. Also our friends' dogs absolutely loved the surroundings, making it a fantastic pet-friendly spot .We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and enjoyable stay. Thanks Zoe

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fairy Dell. The beds were comfortable, bathroom facilities were great and we really enjoyed a morning cuppa and toast out on the balcony in the sunshine. We were keen to give the fire a go but regrettably arrived back too late at night to try it, so will have to give that a go next time. The place was clean, comfortable and just a really lovely place to stay.

Stayed here for one night over the weekend - we loved the fire which was stocked with plenty of wood. The attic style bedrooms were also a hit with the kids and our dog loved exploring the surrounds. Only downside was a vacuum truck that was parked at the Sydney water site down the access driveway with lights and engine going from 530 through to 930 - kind of impacted the serenity a bit - I would assume this is a rare occurrence and would gladly stay again

Lovely little stay here. I love Mt Vic and the house is in a great quiet location. The wood heater was brilliant and kept us warm all night (got well below zero overnight). House is neat, simple, practical and cosy

We chose the 3 for 2 night stay midweek at Fairy Dell for cost effectiveness. What a great find. Everything was at our fingertips to make our stay very convenient. The home was spacious with the warm feel of timber and glass for a beautiful vista of the bush for privacy. The 2 bedrooms upstairs were spacious with a lovely log cabin loft atmosphere. The amenities were more than sufficient and very clean. Thank you Zoe for making our stay a memorable one.

Beautiful rental home in a great location. The neighborhood was quiet, easy to access. The furnishings were comfortable especially the beds. When we visited it was quite cold out the two available sources for heating warmed the whole house quickly. Great vows from the house. I woke very early and was treated to a beautiful sunrise.

Loved the location, close to the Mount Vic Flicks, and many great walks and lookouts. Loved the warmth of the fireplace and the amenities provided for our stay. Our teenagers were whinging about lack of TV and wifi but enjoyed their stay and the games provided, thank you!

Just had an awesome 3 nights at Fairy Dell. We loved that it was a little bit out of town but still close enough to the walks that we wanted to do. Really enjoyed the afternoons/evenings in front of the fire. If it was a bit warmer, we would have loved to have spent more time on the deck. Highly recommended and the communication with Zoe was always prompt. Will definitely be back, hopefully for longer next time!

Really nice little gem of a house for a weekend away doing activities in the mountains!!! Very clean, warm and quiet with everything you need to sit back and relax! Only downside is fireplace being in the dining area instead of living room, would just feel nicer!!! But we still managed to have a good time around the fireplace and enjoy ourselves! We loved it and would sure come back!!!

The photos of the house don’t do it justice! It has everything you could need and want for a weekend away. The rooms are so cosy and cute making it feel super comfortable and warm as soon as you walk in the door. Super thankful for all the heating and even games provided. It’s very peaceful/private despite being in walking distances from the beauties in town. The host was lovely and got back to all enquires very quickly. Would stay here again!
