About this house rental
Situated in Sussex Inlet, this attractive house for £124 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. This luxuriously presented two-storey absolute waterfront townhouse (with its own private lock-up boat pen for your toys located adjacent to boat ramp to the river) is located in the beautiful Moorings complex, which offers great amenities such as tennis court, jetty and swimming pool with spa. The property provides you with personal barbeque and outdoor dining area with 6-seater dining setting and cantilever umbrella. Downstairs, you will find the living area with television and a renovated kitchen equipped with new appliances and plenty of bench space. The sliding doors from the downstairs living area lead you to the waterfront outdoor dining area. The laundry is downstairs (complete with laundry basket, clothes airer, washing basket and pegs) with an attached separate toilet with vanity facilities. Upstairs, you will find two large bedrooms (both with ensuite bathrooms) and balconies, each with outdoor seating. The main large bedroom overlooks the river and has a king sized bed. In the wardrobe of the main bedroom, you will find an extra single folding bed which can sleep a fifth guest. The ensuite to the main bedroom houses a large, deep, spa bath with overhead shower. The second bedroom sleeps two people and the bed can be configured either as a king sized bed or as two long single beds. The choice is yours. Linen, pillows, towels etc. are provided. Both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and televisions and a luggage rack for each is provided. The television in the main bedroom is on a full swivel. It can be pulled gently towards you from the wall and then swivelled to the left to suit your desired viewing angle. There is a wall-mounted air conditioner downstairs. The upstairs area has ducted air conditioning. There is a narrow remote entry lock-up garage which allows internal access into the home. Under the stairwell inside the home, you will find a storage area which houses the ironing board and iron, floor sweeper etc. Inside the garage on the wall (accessible from the interior of the property) you will find a rechargeable Dyson stick vacuum cleaner. There is a separate downstairs outdoor area with seating, also accessible from the living area. There is a wall mounted exterior clothes line beside that area. Adjacent to the property, there is guest parking with spaces for four vehicles. The property is a short walk to the town centre and the RSL Club and the property is only a short drive to the gorgeous beaches of Sussex Inlet and surrounding areas. Sussex Inlet has a taxi service and both the RSL Club and the Bowling Club provide courtesy buses which can be booked per phone. This is a non-smoking property but guests are welcome to smoke outdoors (with exit doors closed) and butt bins are provided for all outdoor sitting areas for that purpose.

The Property was immaculate. Very clean and tidy. The rooms are very spacious and the view is overlooking a stream. This property has everything you need including air con, bbq and even a place to put a boat.
Very close to town. If buying groceries we found the shop at Sussex to be cheaper than woolies so support local if you can.
Will definitely recommend this property and looking forward to staying here again.

The property boasted all the amenities we could have wished for, making our stay both comfortable and convenient. The property is very well stocked with the all the essentials.
The location was perfect, offering a serene, picturesque, relaxing, and rejuvenating setting. One of the highlights was the access to a jetty, which added a unique and enjoyable aspect to our holiday.
The house itself was immaculate, clean, and cozy, making us feel right at home from the moment we stepped in. The peaceful ambience of the area and the excellent facilities of the property made our stay unforgettable.
Glenda met us at the property to show us around and explained how things worked. Glenda was an absolute pleasure to communicate with, going above and beyond from the moment we made the booking.

A week long family trip to Sussex Inlet was especially enjoyable given the clean, tidy, well provisioned and beautifully located accommodation at No.1 The Moorings. A great spot on the canal for fishing, kayaking and watching the world float past. I highly recommend this accommodation.

I have chosen this place because of all the positive reviews here, and I can honestly say they are true!
From the moment our host accepted our booking, she has made sure our requests and requirements are met. Prior to our arrival, our host was so considerate and kind to turn the lights and heater on for us so we could walk into our bright and warm holiday home. We were even gifted with fresh milk in the fridge and a very nice bottle of champagne!
The location is excellent. It is very easy to find, and close to local shops and restaurants if you ever need to pick up some groceries or takeaway for dinner. The townhouse is right on water front so you can relax in the peaceful and tranquil environment after a day of exploring.
The property is very clean and well maintained. The beds are very comfortable, with high quality bed linens. We admire the artworks presented throughout the house. Pantry and all other essentials are provided and they are of high quality as well.
Overall I highly recommend this place which is a gem if you are looking for accommodation in the Jervis Bay area.

Its getting expensive to stay anywhere but when you pay top dollar and get a bed only that is frustrating. This place had all the amenities you needed including little things like good utensils, quality plates, washing powder, foil and glad wrap. The accommodation was sublime. The location fantastic. The personal touches the host Glenda had installed into the unit were faultless from the artwork to her African pieces displayed so tastefully. There was not a thing missing. The detail was all there, everything you needed to cook with, entertainment, outdoor heating so you could sit outdoors on the river even it if was a little chilly to enjoy the location. A bottle of French champagne awaited us which we all thoroughly enjoyed once we had unpacked and had the cheese and biscuits out. The beds were very comfortable. This accommodation is a gem. We will definitely be back and hopefully for a longer stay so we can get on that tennis court! Thank you so much Glenda. We loved our stay

From the first moment we stepped into the property and saw the view, then took in the beauty of the house, we knew we had made the right decision to stay there. We had a fantastic time here. The property was so clean and everything we needed was right there. The location was fantastic, if you've got a boat or JetSki, it has its own jetty at the back, so convenient!

We had a short stay at this property and had a wonderful quiet, relaxing weekend away. The place is cosy, clean and well equipped and perfectly located next to the canals so it was nice to wake up to water views or sit outside with your coffee and tea. Glenda is the most friendliest and accomodating host. She kept us well informed of everything and even ensured the place was nice and warm as we were arriving late in the evening. We would definitely recommend this place.

First of all the host of the house Glenda was there to show us the property.she has tennis rackets available to play tennis in the court available there , there's also a swimming pool unfortunately we weren't able to play tennis or swim cause of the weather.
The house is the most amazing house I have ever stayed in very clean. Glenda was kind enough to leave cleaning products, bathroom soaps. As well and kitchen essentials very well organised she made sure our stay was very welcoming and comfortable loves everything about the house will recommend thus house to family and friends and definitely will come again if ever in sussex

The property was very clean, pictures do not do it justice. Very spacious and homey. Glenda was a fantastic hostess, very quick to respond to enquiries. She even came down early to warm the house up for us prior to arrival. We enjoyed fishing off the jetty, playing some tennis, and relaxing. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

This townhouse is the perfect place to stay. It was spotlessly clean & had everything we needed for our short break away. The beds were extremely comfortable & everything that could possibly be needed was provided; including shampoo, conditioner, lovely soft towels plus a bottle of bubbly. The view from the front windows onto the water is amazing & next time we come we’ll bring a canoe as there is a secure boat lock up available on the property. Thank you Glenda for meeting us at check in, giving us such clear communication & providing us with such a lovely place to stay.
